I had only a credit card to pay for an electric coupling. However, the lady at the front informed me that using a credit card for a payment as low as $1.05 would incur almost double the cost. I assured her that it was fine, but she insisted on using her own change to pay for it. I didn't have to, but she insisted. This immediately gave me the impression that the business is run in a commendable manner. They prioritize customer satisfaction over profit. The lady was extremely kind, friendly, and professional. Therefore, I highly recommend this hardcore store.

Gordon is the BEST! He knows his stuff when it comes to wood burning stoves and piping! Worth the trip to Madion Indiana. This guy should be employee of the year! Highly recommend!

Made a call before going it was able to talk to a gentleman who was very kind and was able to help me immediately. Went to Anderson's Hardware and they had everything in stock I needed, the price was lower than I expected and the staff there was simply amazing. Polite helpful and very knowledgeable.

Family owned business and not one of the Big box stores.. I go in and they ask if I need help, which I always do, and they help me get my items. In the realm of things the prices are basically the same if not better than the competition and they are helpful with great attitudes.

Store was open a smidge earlier than usual and thankfully saved me a trip to Wally World; the sweet lady at the desk was very helpful and gave me a quick run-down about all the different options they had for what I needed! Price was great, so I couldn't have been happier to support a local business.

Locally owned. Best lumber in Jefferson County PERIOD. Grover and his staff take exceptional care of their customers. The lumber is all Grade 1. You might pay a couple of bucks more, but it is entirely worth it to have lumber that you don't have to cull through for hours to get boards that are worth using.

The lady at the desk was very pleasant and walked me directly to the items I was looking for. She smiled all the time and was very courteous and kind. I always find all the odd little odd things I need there and they go out of their way to assist you.

Pretty awesome place! The employees know their stuff! They know exactly where everything is at in the store, and if you need help with anything they do a great job with telling you what you need to get your job or project done! Great prices as well! Owners are really friendly as well!

Stopped in for some plumbing fittings so our guys could finish a job nearby. Staff was very helpful and saved me a trip further into Madison to one of the big box stores. They also have a resident cat “Tabby”. Great place!

I can't begin to describe how friendly and helpful Grover and his crew are here. They honestly treat you like family.

Grover went out of his way one time to sell me a couple of sockets out of his personal set because he hadn't got individual ones in yet, but would be soon and replace them with those. Another time I had thought I lost an item I had just purchased there, but they saw my wife at work and let her know that I had left it on the counter and could come pick it up.

Being a former hardware store employee I know what it takes to provide the level of service that customers expect and Grover and his crew above and beyond.

The people at Anderson Hardware are extremely helpful & polite. They go out of their way to answer questions. If they do not have an item in stock they will order it immediately. Prices are decent. They don't price gouge you. I'm pretty sure they can meet all yourl hardware needs. This ISN'Ta BIG BOX STORE. You DO NOT have to wander around aimlessly searching for help. Here everything is the salesperson's job. They know most everything & are extremely happy to help you. I would highly recommend going to Anderson Hardware. What do you have to lose? Check it out. You may just love your new hardware store.

I stopped in here looking for a very specific woodworking tool on the way home from downtown Madison. The staff was amazing!!!

They have everything you need and their staff will be glad to help you find what you need. I go there often. Their wood is better quality than Lowes.
