We ordered the beef and cheese pierogies and they were amazing. We also ordered the goulash which tasted awesome and the strawberry shake was superb as well. Lastly the service and environment were very friendly! 10/10 would recommend!

Ordered beef & potato pierogis (3 ea) & Polish Sausage w/mash potatoes and sauerkraut. Pierogis were amazing, I liked beef the best. I’ve never had sausage that tasted as good as this authentic polish sausage and the sauerkraut was the perfect balance of sour. Definitely worth the price due to the high quality of service, atmosphere, and quality!! Just over $34 and worth every cent!

We absolutely love Café Poland. My wife and I went here on our first date and the day we got engaged. The pierogies & borscht is my favorite with half meat and half potatoe pierogies. My wife usually gets the Polish crepes. We think the food is exceptional and unique in Columbia. Every time we drive through town we stop and get frozen pierogies to go-- if we don't have time to stop and eat.

Great location, close enough to the highway and plenty of street parking. We ordered the savory crepes as well as the variety of pierogis, and the beef was the absolute best I've ever eaten. We also ordered the Borscht and a strawberry shake, which were both delicious. There were many other delicious menu items I'd like to try when traveling through in the future. If you're into trying new foods, this is definitely a must. The wife and husband make everything from scratch, and the lady is so sweet and helpful!

Small place with a charming lady who runs this wonderful diner.

They have excellent pierogis and delicious crepes. We had the cheese and potatoes pierogis. They had a great butter and sautéed onions for topping with sour cream as a side option. Hot fresh and delicious.

The crepes were good. They were a little thicker than other places. They were also a little more we’ll done. They were very good! We preferred the egg one to the spinach one.

They also sell frozen ones by the dozen for take out.

Another couple split a sampler platter that we will get next time. The food tasted delicious.

I’ve had the pleasure of both eating at Cafe Poland as a customer, and working at Cafe Poland as a kitchener, and I can say with confidence that it is one of the best restaurant experiences in Columbia. The attention to freshness, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction is evident in both the food and the mood in the cafe. The owner Iwotta and her son Robert are some of the kindest people you’ll ever meet, and Iwotta especially loves to have easygoing conversations with everyone that drops in. She makes sure no one leaves hungry, and always manages to make you feel better than you were when you stepped through her door. If you’re looking for a slice of home, some espresso to pick yourself up, or just some damn good Polish food, the one and only Cafe Poland is the place you want to be.

Great location right downtown and incredibly friendly staff. The food is the best authentic Polish cuisine you can find in Columbia. Definitely recommend the pierogies!

The absolute best perogies and authentic Polish food I’ve had in a long time! Myself and some colleagues discovered this gem on a recent business trip. The service and food were fantastic and at a great price. I highly recommend the Gulash or Lecho. If you are in the mood for something different and authentic I highly recommend checking out Cafe Poland.

This little place is the real deal, there was this sweet little lady that was making all the food herself as well as working the front of the house. We were told on entering that she was alone and that it would take a little time but it really didn't. There is a patio that you can eat on, seating inside and a window that you can pick up food at. There is a great selection of beers, the menu is simple and has something for everything. We started with the pierogi's which were made by hand and very delicious. My wife got the gulash which she enjoyed, super simple but flavorful. I got the grilled polish sausage with the kraut and potato salad. Even though we were stuffed we got crepe's, one with the nutella and one with berries. I can honestly say that if I lived closer I would be eating here on a regular basis.

Howdy from Virginia! Found this spot on the way to Kansas City.
Friendly, hard working folks putting out AMAZING food.
Sausage was amazing, sweet cabbage with bacon and sausage was something I had never had and would love to have again.
Pierogi filling of potato and farmer cheese was “just right.”

Thank you!

First time here and everything was absolutely wonderful! Try the polish sausage plate and make sure to grab some sweet crepes for dessert. My favorite was the one with European preserves.

This is a great little restaurant. Nothing fancy, but the food is delicious and reasonably priced. Also very friendly service. The pierogis are fantastic. I'm going to make this a regular stop when I'm in Columbia.

We shared the polish plate sampler for two. Everything was amazing!! Wonderful sauerkraut, my favorite. Pierogis were delicious, and the strawberry shake - wow. All natural with no ice cream, just strawberry, cream, milk and sugar. Sooo good! This place did not disappoint and if we come through Columbia again, we'll be sure to stop! Thank you for your hospitality!

I’ve never had polish food before but this food was AMAZING!

The pierogis were my favorite, then the crepes, and the goulash.

The pierogis are polish dumplings. They have great texture and very flavorful fillings. My favorite filling was the sauerkraut. I was very surprised because I’m not a huge fan of sauerkraut but these were amazing.

This is a must try when coming to Columbia MO.

Fantastic! Perogies were incredible and the meat sampler was a definite requirement to order. There were 6 of us and we shared multiple plates and also the dessert crepes. Yummy! Service was spectacular and speaking with the owner made the dinner even more special.

This is a sweet hole in the wall place with amazing food. She has three small tables and a bathroom but no changing tables. We didn’t notice any booster seats or high chairs but maybe we missed them. She was sooo kind and served us amazing food. I would have loved to try one of everything. We will come again next time we are in the area for sure.

WOW! We got 3 pierogi flavors: potato, beef, and beef potato blend and it was DELICIOUS! What a gem of a spot with authentic food. The iced coffee was great too. Highly recommend!

Small restaurant in the campus area. Sweet old polish lady runs it and I'm guessing owner as well. Perogies and fruit crapes are otherworldly. 15/10

I love this place so much. And I adore the woman who owns it even more. She can seem a little gruff at times, but it's honestly just kind of charming. Try the Goulash!
