Tony's Pizza Palace

Tony's pizza is a timeless classic operation, family atmosphere, family run, a Columbia dining icon, you can always expect a big smile, great food, and friendly service from the folks at Tony's, I recommend their gyro, always delicious, always filling!

Tony's is the kind of place you hope to stumble upon after moving somewhere. Not only are the prices reasonable and the portions huge, but they also gave us a discount and double fries when they were out of onion rings. When we realized they forgot the olives on the salad, they immediately offered a discount on our next visit as well. Get the gyro, not only is it delicious but it's also enough meat in one sandwich for more like 4 gyros. We will absolutely be returning.

I recommend getting the 10 inch pepperoni pizza. I think $10.95 is a fair price for a one topping pizza compared to other pizza places I’ve heard are more expensive. If you want cheap good pizza go here. The waiter got my order wrong but she was so polite about it that she didn’t even charge me for my drink. I love everything about this place. I would definitely go back again.

Best pizza in Columbia, best house made sausage anywhere, a tatziki that would make a resident of Greece happy.

Tony's is a legend for locals, I now live in Europe and it's my first stop when I arrive back in the U.S. The pizza has a crisp crust, that has flavor without being oily. The pies are perfectly sauced and generously cheesed, it goes right to the edge of the pie. The superstar on the pizza is their house made sausage, it's heaven on a plate. After eating the sausage here, every other pizza joints sausage pies disappoint.

On the Greek menu they serve gyros, and it's popular and great choice, but the Souvlaki is king for me. Tender grilled pork with a thick Greek yogurt based tatziki. No watery tatziki here.

The same family has owned it for decades and they are good people. They have a rapport with most of their customers. The inside isn't fancy, but it is what a local pizza joint should look like. I can't wait for my next trip.

This place has been near and dear to. Y heart since I landed in COMO in 1991 as a freshman at Columbia College. AH-Mazing pizza, (we get pepperoni, jalapeno, pepper jack cheese).

I ordered last Friday as I was actually in COMO and as I waited, I kept seeing orders of wings flying out of the door. I asked a lady waiting with me about the wings and she was like hell yeah, they're 🔥!

I'll definitely be adding wings to my next order!

Best gyro in town, sliced off the rotisserie - the soft pita was loaded & overfilling with tender meat. Pizza is great, and the Greek salad with chicken was filling and delicious.

Absolutely excellent pizza! Meat stayed on pizza and did not fall off. Pizza was as big as the top of my stove

I bought a Gyro and Fries with drink lunch special for $10. I could barely eat it all. Meat was a little dry and fries a tad unsalted. Sever was great, service was fairly fast. I'd go back and put it on my top ten list for Columbia restaurants. Atmosphere is good however building could use a renovation.

This has to be the best pizza in Columbia. It’s a good, thick, hearty pizza that often gets overlooked.

The food is amazing. They serve many authentic Greek dishes as well. I got a Greek salad with gyro meat.

First time visit tonight because someone recommended their gyro. It was a delicious gyro but my partner’s Nancy sub was top tier 11/10. I’ll be back very soon specifically for the Nancy sub. It wasn’t a speedy dinner, but it appeared they had a ton of take out orders so be mindful of that.

Atmosphere: It's got an old school diner feel. It is very simple and a little outdated (likely hasn't been remodeled in 30+ years). I appreciate it.
Service: They seem a bit understaffed, but service is very courteous. I would caution that this is not fast food, so plan on a 20 - 30 min wait for your food. Pizza takes a while to cook.
Food: This is my favorite pizza in Columbia, MO. They have thin crust (St. Louis style). The cheese is cooked to perfection (top has the brown crust layer, but it is stringy when you cut it). I love it. I have also had their gyros, and they load them up with meat. I know people who say this is the best gyro in town. It's the only gyro I've ever had, so I can't compare it to anyone else, but it was good. Fries are good also, thick and crispy.

Gotta love Tonys!! Family owned and local. I've been eating at Tony's for 30 years!! Yummm

Amazing Gyros. Every looks good in this little restaurant. It reminds me of a Chicago neighborhoods ma and pa restaurant. I love it.

Food is excellent and my wife loves the Gyros. Been coming to Tony's since 1999 and the food just gets better and better. The staff at Tony's is always professional and super friendly. I recommend this restaurant to any and all families looking for awesome food, friendly service and great prices.

Always good service. Pizza some of best in Columbia they have really good gyros and Greek salad also very good I always add Gyro meat portion sizes are also good. Older place but good old school atmosphere.
