Flat Branch Park

Beautiful walk by the Flat Branch Creek. Easy walking or concrete trail. We entered at the north end and there were unhoused people waking up and charging their phones using the outlets in the park. Further down there is a playground. I did not see restroom. The park is dog friendly and has benches to sit and eat a sandwich. Lots of restaurants nearby.

One of the best parks in Columbia!
It's near downtown, next to the MKT trail, has parking space, playground equipment, splash pad and bike tools. The park is surrounded by nature and it's a great view with a beautiful butterfly bench, a bridge, a creek and flowers! It's a walking distance from the public library, too. I particularly like it because it's not crowded and I feel safe even during COVID-19 pandemic.

Very beautiful trail. You can almost forget that the city is just around you. Good headphones and beautiful scene.

Very clean. Terrific landscaping. Good facilities. Easy parking access. Boys particularly enjoyed splash pad.

Great hiking trail. Any distance you are prepared for.

I went at night. It was an absolutely beautiful night. There were others enjoying the trail also. The flower bushes smelled amazing. Every time I came across one of the big bushes with the big white flowers I had to stop and smell them, I'm sorry I don't know the name...but I wish I did. So yea it was a great night, perfect temperature, it was clean, the flowers etc. smelled so refreshing and relaxing. There are plenty of places to sit and chill. If you're looking for a nice chill place to walk after work this is a good one. Just my thoughts.

This used to be a ditch and now its a beautiful park!

I love this place. With all the noise and the fast pace of downtown....when you're here at flat Branch Park it all just melts away. Great place to relax and the people are cool. I recommend it.

I loved this place!!! This was amazing because I like little creeks like that so does my mom, she was there too. We went there to waist time and almost forgot we had to go somewhere because we were having such a good time. I will definitely come back again.

Love this area for the splash pad and rhe playground. Kids like going thru the tunnel and accross the bridge as well. Wish there was a restroom but other than that it's awesome :)

Small park but beautiful. Great place to get on the biking and hiking trail. Pretty flat too.

Great city park, with lots of history, nice place to sit and watch the water pass in the mild mannered Creek that runs through.

I celebrated independence day on 4 July, 2017. No words for such a joy with many many things and beautiful crackers show at the end.

Nice park. Enjoyed the water fountains that the kids played in. Beautiful landscaping!

A beautiful little family oasis in downtown Columbia: playground and summertime water spray park right on the MKT trail.

Great place to stop and let the kiddos play. Beautiful trail, even had air pump for bike tires!
