We hired Ace Handyman’s service to install a storm door to our front entrance. Shawn R. arrived promptly. He got right to work , making sure to check instructions (as every door may be different). Shawn had to make a run to Menards for a extra piece to shim the edge, as our door was not quite wide enough. Even with that interruption, he was able to finish the job in the estimated time frame. I’m not saying the work was inexpensive, but to us, it was worth the expense. Shawn did an excellent job! Our storm door fits perfectly and closes nice & tight. We are very pleased with the outcome and will refer to Ace Handyman for other services as needed. Thank you!

JC was on time, professional, and friendly. He primed & painted the interior of my garage, and it looks great! He even moved items that I had placed in the driveway back into the garage when he was done. I really appreciate the extra effort! The initial quote was really high, 24 labor hours, but JC completed the job in 8 hours. I really appreciate that JC & Ace adjusted the final price, and it was very fair. I have already recommended JC to a friend who needs basebords & garage finish.

I had two sets of stairs rebuilt and Matt did a wonderful job. It took several appointments to complete the job and I appreciated Matt checking with me to make sure it was what I wanted. I also thought the office staff was well organized and kept up with changes due to weather issues.

Matt did a great job for us hanging a very large painting over a stairway. It was an awkward place and a very large painting (4 1/2 ft. by 6 ft.) so not an easy task. He jumped right in and got it done perfectly in no time at all. We were very pleased with his cheerful attitude and attention to detail.

Hands down, these guys are fantastic. I worked with Edward and he was very reliable and reassuring with my rental property (which my tenants destroyed). He made sure I was informed of every step and any cost deviance from the original estimate. I would work with them again anytime.

I Contacted Ace to have my deck refinished. Technician, JC, did a great job.
I also appreciated their communication as to keeping me informed of every aspect of the job and the estimated cost. The final cost was lower than the estimate and very reasonable.

Ace Handyman services was really great to work with. The communication was a real plus. I liked that they send you a picture of the person that will be doing the work. Security these days is important. We had our deck stained. JC did a great job. Sanding the deck and taking care of nails and screws that were popping up. He explained the process and even took a sample of old stain to Sherwin-Williams for them to match. I diffently will hire Ace Handyman again for other jobs. Did I mention the price was very affordable.

We had Ace Handyman Service remodel our camper.
They removed a never-used bathroom/shower and created a bench/bed. The mini stove and sink were also removed and a counter installed with clips on the edges so we can secure items left on the top while we travel. They even stained the wood. The results were breath-taking, far more than I expected. This is so beautiful. I have recommended this service to my two daughters and I RECOMMEND to YOU. This is a GREAT service!! We are so excited for the spring weather to come and we can go camping. Thank you, Edward. You have done exceptional work.

We wanted to replace a shower door but we were not sure who to contact to install. Saw one of the owners being interviewed on KCRG and decided to give them a try. I submitted the online estimate with pictures and measurements and in less than 24 hours had the work scheduled for the following week. From the start of the estimate process to work completion everyone was courteous and professional. We worked with Renee in the office and John was our installer. The project started with John picking up the doors at Menards on the way to our house. When John finished he walked through everything that had been done and showed me how to adjust the doors if ever needed in the future. The finished project looks great! We have had some other projects completed by local businesses and the prices for the work seemed reasonable.

Shawn showed up on time and was very friendly, professional, and informative. He cleaned out our bathroom vents that had bird nest debris in them and also placed plastic screens over them. We now have peace of mind knowing that birds can’t enter the vent and build nests in there. I highly recommend Ace Handyman Services Cedar Rapids and Shawn for a job well done! Shawn did a great job! He showed up on time, was great at communicating what he was doing, amd made sure I was happy with end result before leaving. Ace may be a little more expensive than other handyman services, but its so worth it to have the work done correctly the first time!

JC, our contractor was fantastic. Arrived on time, gave highly accurate work hour estimates and provided every detail possible on our drywall repair. He has a solid work ethic and his work quality is highly appreciated. I would certainly recommend Ace Handyman Services without a doubt to anyone!

JC and Matt did an excellent job with our painting work. They were both very friendly, did an excellent job and did a thorough clean up of the site. This is the second job we’ve had JC do and I would have they both back for any future projects we need.

Excellent service. I got a text prior to the repair person coming, that told me his name and also shared his picture. That was reassuring. Matt was kind and efficent and let me know all the details of the repair. Will definitely use this service again.
