I couldn’t have had a better experience under the circumstances. Yesterday morning, I called because of issues going on with my dog. They were able to get me in that afternoon and took my concerns very seriously. I went in alone and was faced with options I already unfortunately knew and had to make the difficult decision no “pet parent” wants to make. I was alone but I didn’t feel alone because of every person in that building that I encountered. They handled the devastating situation with so much grace and respect for me and my baby. I can’t thank Waukon Vet clinic enough for everything and the support they have given me and my family.

Dr Smead is compassionate and caring. Front office staff very efficient in helping get our records transferred from our previous vet. So comforting to know we have this clinic here for our dog.

We have a vet 7 miles from our house and I drive over 30 minutes just to come to this vet for our fur babies, most personable people and you can feel the love they have for the animals.

Our Yorkie had a serious injury and received exceptional care at the clinic. Thank you to Dr Sadler and Dr Hammell and the entire staff. Everyone was very caring, like it was their own pet. Truly appreciate the small town service!

They take the time and listen to you and they are really amazing with your animals and they make sure that you understand what they are talking about.

The people there were very knowledgeable and helpful. The prices are amazing and they are willing to work with limited budgets. Are very upfront about costs and caring about people and pets. Only about 20 minutes drive from decorah and about half the cost for better services.

Absolutely incredible vets and staff, willing to help you with an critter situation and they truly care about your animals!

Great vetenarian clinic with three outstanding doctors and a fantastic crew of office staff and techs. Compassionate care at a reasonable rate. They will not steer you wrong or oversell you on unneeded products.

They have a new ultrasound machine. Too bad it was too late to save our fur baby. It wasn't their fault. But I now know where to go now that they have one.
