First visit here and we will definitely be back! Excellent and quick service, food was delicious, and atmosphere is beautifully done! Don't forget to ask for your complimentary chips!

We went for a casual, relaxed dinner and scenic drive, and it delivered. Beautiful drive up the mountain, nice menu with lots to choose from. We didn't have any special requests but I overheard others who did, and they were very accommodating. I have to admit that I'm the person that checks out every plate I can as it goes by, and didn't see anything that I wouldn't order! We didn't order fancy, I got the Mountain Burger that has been on the menu since the days of cavemen, and by the size is definitely suitable for a caveman. My husband ordered the Fish and Tots, and was not disappointed! I will tell you I am NOT a Tot person, but ORDER THEM!! Our server was great! So friendly and helpful ( I also have questions 🙄). And the outdoor patio is a wonderful bonus. Nothing uptight and fancy, just good food. The way we like it.

Stopped for lunch, both of us had Fish & Chips. Excellent, huge portions. Service was fast and very friendly, old maps and photos of the area are very cool. Very clean, highly recommended.

They did it again! We are able to visit about once a year and are never disappointed. The 5 star review is well earned. We arrived at 11:15 so it wasn't busy yet. We were seated by a very friendly waitress. She was so patient with me and answered all of my questions. I had the italian chicken and I said "MMM" with every bite. The chicken was so tender and flavorful. Banana peppers gave it just the right kick. The side salad was full of vegetables and their homemade sweet and sour dressing was delicious! We also had the Happy Hiker burger done medium well. It was a little pink and very juicy, just perfect! Oh my gosh...the wild mushrooms were outstanding. The flavors went so well together and you could still taste the delicious hamburger. The delicious, crispy French fries were skin on and had an amazing herb coating. We were so full that there was no room for dessert...hopefully next time♡

Amazing food and wonderful staff!!!! They were extremely friendly and service was amazing!! There was more food than we could finish in a sitting and the prices were more than fair with the amount of food we got. We definitely will be back!!!

The food here was really good. Our waitress Deb was very friendly. Had the spinach artichoke dip, french onion soup, garlic parm wings, and a grilled ham and cheese. Also had the watermelon martini, which was AMAZING. But I'll go there again for sure due to the friendly service.

The cheesesteak is very good.

Service lacked, but it’s not her fault, this place is understaffed and the outside girl had to run inside for everything. Management should have someone (not the single outdoor bartender/server) run food to the patio so she can stay at the bar and patio and take care of people

The astrosphere resembled a campground diner which was very fitting given its proximity to multiple camping areas. We had a group of 10 and our server accommodated us with fast friendly service. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meal.

Everything about this place was great. From bartenders, room, drinks, food, owners, and the outside bar. They have cameras for the parking lot too. We got there after the kitchen closed on the bikes, the bartenders made us some chow anyway. Couldn't ask for anything better

Nothing like a beer in a frosted glass after a day bike riding in Pennsylvania (Amazing roads in the area). The Waterville tavern also has an extensive selection of beer, delicious food and great rooms for rent. Did I mention the outdoor bar, awesome! A must stop if you're passing through.

Great little spot with a surprisingly good selection of beer. Had the nachos, they were great.

Clean, classic tavern highlighted by beautiful woodwork, hilarious sayings, and amazing food. Prices for food and liquor were reasonable. Al, the owner and our bartender, was a wizard at making drinks, slightly sarcastic which is how all good barkeeps should be, and very friendly once he warmed up to this group of out of staters. We had a blast watching the AFC championship game and by the end of our visit I had nicknamed him Big Al, in honor of my Crimson Tide alma mater's mascot...not sure he was wild about the new call sign but he was a good sport. We'll be back for sure next visit.

Mary was an excellent server ! Of course the food was great.

Food was great! We ate here twice while staying at the hotel.

Dinner At This Mountain Gem Landmark Of The Waterville Tavern In Waterville, Pennsylvania With My Dad Mr. Karl Schu As Both Had Tonight The Huge Drunken Beer Batter Fish Witch A The Best Pick By Locals Of Hand Fried And Only The Freshest Haddock That Is Dipped In Beer With Fresh Apple Sauce And A Hot From The Oven Baked Potatoes With Fresh Sour Cream And Tart Tart Sauce To Dip For Me And My Dad Cocktail Sauce All Fresh To Dip Our Fish Along With Both Fat Tire Beer And Both A Coke To Drink There Chef's House Made Creme Brulee With A Side Of Very Sweet And Fresh Red Raspberries And Whipped Cream As We Truly Have Both Always Loved The Foods And Drinks Here Plus They Also Have A Full Bar And Full Menu Along A Inn On Top Of Thee Place So Like To Camp And Eat Then This Truly Thy Place With Such Super Clean Place And Great Owners And Chef's Along With There Friendly Staff Of Awesome Prices Eating There And Lodging Too SO WHEN IN AREA THEE PLACE TO STOP AT AS YOU LET THEM TAKE CARE OF YOU IN MOUNTAINS OF THE PINE CREEK VALLEY THANKS ALL ! ++KYLE SCHU

Al's martinis are the best. It doesn't matterhow long it's been since you've been in there last Deb and Al always know who you are. The food is fantastic the atmosphere is great. The rooms are gorgeous. The perfect place to stay to get away from the craziness of the city

The tavern is very clean, the staff very friendly, and the food was excellent. We will be back

Nice place along the bike trail, excellent food and service. The chili is good, fries are good and the service was awesome. Definitely would go back here.
