Half these reviewers are apparently looking to have their butts kissed the second they walk in the door. This place has very friendly and helpful staff, a great selection, and legitimately good pricing. The trade in values are also more fair than other locations in the area. Don't end up missing out on this place because of people that will complain about anything.

Today was my first visit and I must say I was impressed. They had a considerable amount of guns and ammo in stock and I actually purchased a Kimber handgun which was priced very competitively. I found the staff to be very friendly, knowledgeable and I definitely will return.

Young gentleman went out of his way to locate a choke adapter for my ts12 to work with salvo 12. Not something they carry but he didn't give up till he was able to find one online.
Every other Gun store told me they don't make them and hung up on me.

Very friendly staff, fair prices, even will discount sometimes if the gun has been sitting for a little while. I’ve bought numerous rifles and pistols from these friendly people, and will continue to do so.

My first time going to the store and nicely laid out and welcome by a very friendly staff, they helped me find what i was looking for ; prices are ok and they are pretty well stocked on a lot of items and the store is clean so i would definitely shop there again

Purchased my first handgun from here and I couldn't have been happier. The staff was excellent when I went in with questions and options I had researched and helped me figure out which was the best for concealed and range use. Came in to purchase a firearm for protection, and was quickly greeted with a friendly face who treated me with respect and not only listened to my needs, but went out of his way to make sure my needs were met. With firearm sales being through the roof and hard to come by-it was refreshing to have a business treat customers like a person, not just a number.

I have both purchased and sold firearms through the trading post and I recommend them highly.

I have found that their prices on firearms for sale are very fair and more than competitive with other gun stores in the area. Their inventory is not huge but they have lots of firearms to handle and do not mind bringing out any that you ask about. I go in monthly to see what they have acquired and they are always very welcoming and knowledgable. They frequently have interesting used firearms as well as a number of different makers -- they are not the usual "black poly pistol" shops.

The prices they offer when you bring in a gun to sell are entirely consistent with other shops including the big chain stores. Everyone should know that you will net more from a private sale if you can arrange one so be aware that selling to an establishment like this will net you something like 60% of what you think the gun is worth. That being said, selling a firearm here is absolutely quick and painless.

This is a fantastic place to do business with. Great service and loads a firearms to choose from. I traded in several of my old guns . Got a fantastic offer for them , then got a Ruger AR & a Hellcat for the wife . We both are happy with the service and guns . Don’t hesitate to do business with them .

Very good experience. The staff was very helpful and actually seemed like they were happy to help, unlike Redding's Hardware... It's a small place, but have a great selection of firearms and ammo. I thought the prices were decent. I'll return.

went there today and picked up a gun they were supper nice and ammo prices are not bad compared to other places in the area so 10/10 will be going again soon

I have had two transactions with GTP in the last two years. I live about 30 miles away and only get there when I have a reason. Words that come to mind are customer oriented, fair, helpful. I need to get over some day and spend an hour looking around. I have both times had a specific item an not the time to browse. Both of my purchases were firearms, they are an efficient and careful weapons dealer. Stay away if you want to sneak past the law. If you can legally make the purchase they will work to get it done. I was impressed both times with the care that was taken that it was done right, essential for me to not have problems later.

Bought a lower from there. As far as local gun shops go, you'd be hard pressed to find a better one. Staff is super knowledgeable and friendly. Will definitely be back!

I have been to this place many times and every time I have gone I have gotten treated with the upmost respect . And once again they went above and beyond to be able to get me the proper firearm at the proper price . You have not been to a gun shop and less you've been to this place all other gun Shops should use this place as a reference on how to treat their customers. Today I bought A AR22 rifle This rifle will be giving me and my daughter many hours are fun and also training my daughter on how to properly use a firearm . Me while I was there the saleswoman knowing that I was looking for something else to carry that was smaller and more concealed pointed me in the direction of a firearm that they had in the 380 caliber She worked with me on the price point and was able to get it in my hands and out the door. Once again not only are they helping my young one to be able to learn how to shoot properly and handle a firearm but also keeping me in my family safe by providing me with a smaller safer weapon to carry. Everybody here at the Gettysburg outpost gets a thumbs up and an a plus in my book .if you come to the shop you will always be treated like family .....thanks guys

Friendly and helpful staff. Wide variety of items, never know what ur gonna find. Bought a few guns and other stuff here. They carry a bunch of older video games which I'm into collecting its nice to find them locally instead of ordering online.
