Maybe one of the most underrated spots in Boulder. I had the kobeda kebab wrap with fries and it was phenomenal. The kebab seasoning was spot on, the ingredients were fresh, and you can't beat the friendly service or the prices. Highly recommend!

One of the only Afghan restaurants in Colorado (the whole state severely lacks in ethnic food options that are actually good). Service is always great. The restaurants run by a whole family. They’re always sweet and welcoming. We’ve brought many friends here and everyone has loved it! If you come on the weekends they have bolani and it tastes great. We’ve essentially tried the whole menu and everything tastes amazing, no complaints! They also have a small selection of groceries too. I will miss this place!

Found this gem while searching for Mediterranean in Boulder. When we walked in, we found four lovely ladies making food to order. I had the Gyro with a side of hummus and pita. It was AMAZING! The services was so kind and attentive and the food was fresh and flavorful.

This might be the only Kabuli Palaw in Boulder County! And wow... it is great. Silk Road Grill is such a wonderful addition to our community (this city after all is not particularly known for Middle Eastern food). But this place is a shining star and if you enjoy this cuisine, you will enjoy Silk Road. We had lamb shank and Kabuli Palaw entrees. Lamb was juicy and tender. Rice was savory. The baba ganoush was so good, we ordered a second serving (it is so bright, fresh, creamy, with parsley). On the weekends, they serve a flatbread dish (vegan). Can't wait to try everything on this menu. Service is very friendly, but not particularly quick FYI because all food is made to order. So worth it.

Authentic Afghani Food. Halal Food. Havent had suc delicious chapli kababs. Chickpeas were so delicious, reminded me of home. Definitely recommended.

The service was great. Everyone was kind and the food was really good! I got the gyro plate and really enjoyed the rice and the gyro meat. Chilll little spot with plenty of parking around which is convenient. The gyro meat was the best I’ve had in Boulder! Look forward to trying some other menu items in the future! Delicious family owned and operated Afghan restaurant. Suggested options were beautifully presented and good size portions. Food tasted amazing. We were planning what we would try the next time we come while enjoying our meal! Family friends service and Afghan grocery items to shop from all in the same location. We will be back, soon!

The best authentic Afghan food and Kebabs are next level. This is the best food in Colorado. Family owned business and what a taste!

I have been coming to this restaurant every Friday for about a year, it’s sort of become a tradition at this point. The food is amazing, homemade and always fresh. It’s family owned and you are always greeted with kind smiles and meant to feel like an honored guest. This is one of the few halal restaurants in Boulder, and despite knowing they have the market cornered, the prices are fair. If you feel like trying something new, I’d recommend checking this place out… one of the only Afghan restaurants in Colorado!

Tried the lamb Tikka kebab wrap based in the recommendation of the cashier. The lamb was tasty, bread and fries were warm and fresh. Workers are friendly and prices are reasonable .. recommended for a quick Mediterranean bite

I tried Kabuli Palaw which was rich in flavours with tender and juicy lamb pieces. The best Kabuli Palaw I ever had! Must try dish!!!
Also tried Chicken over rice plate which was also good with a flavourful chicken.

Fantastic Persian restaurant, haven’t had kabuli palow or chickpea stew like this since Kabul, over ten years ago. Owner and chef is personable and the whole family is great. Selection at the market is great too. Definitely will be coming back.

I had my iftar today there. It was incredible. If I hadn’t left Boulder today, I would have gone there every single day. The food was absolutely delicious.

Trying Bolani for the first time was a delightful surprise, I had the potato version and let me tell you I am thinking of all the ways I am going to render this.
I tried the gyro and baklava they were all like a tiny celebration in my mouth. I'm already planning my next visit to this cozy family-owned spot.
