Foolish Craig's Cafe

Stopped in for breakfast after a quick morning hike. Sat on the outside patio which was lovely. Very much enjoyed the food. Avocado toast and grits were so yummy. The service and atmosphere was excellent. This might be our new go to spot after our morning hikes in Boulder.

Everything we had was tasty and had its own unique spin on. I got the Chorizo Benedict with this crazy cider that was great and she got the Artichoke Omelette and a chai latte. All we both needed was a tad bit of salt and some hot sauce already on the table. The place was packed, so clearly we weren't the only ones looking for a good brunch. Also, if you have trouble getting in there is Snooze AM (a chain) and 2 other nearby restaurants serving brunch so it's hard to go wrong in the area. I really enjoyed it, so gotta recommend!

First time to Boulder and this is a great spot for lunch (or breakfast). Laid back atmosphere and the food was very fresh and well prepared. Would definitely come back and try other menu items. Get the sweet potato fries instead of the regular ones.

Big portions, funky environment, great friendly service. Had a Millie’s sandwich and homers crepe. Both really good.

So refreshing to dine out and NOT be disappointed! We tried the millionaire bacon, carnitas eggs Benedict, regular eggs Benedict with ham, grits, potatoes, rum crepe cake, fresh OJ and peach mimosa. Everything was seriously awesome, and I'm a big Benedict critic! Can't wait to come back and try more items from their huge menu! Customer service 10/10; food 10/10; 10/10 will be back!!

I wish I lived closer. Everything from the food to the service was flawless; the only tricky points were picking what to try from their full and enticing menu. We split The Blintz to get the full crepe fill; my mom had the chilaquiles, and I had the Fahgeddaboutit, which rocked my world. The crepes are some of the best I've had in the US, and I was impressed at the flavor composition of my crepe and dazzled by the generous portion sizes. The team we encountered seemed happy and hardworking, which only improved the experience.

Favorite brunch spot in Boulder, all the food is so good and the crepes are not to miss!

Delicious breakfast spot. Loved the Corned Beef Hash. Wow! So yummy and full of flavor. I highly recommend it. My friend tried the pancakes and she was happy with them. We had a round of Bloody Maries and they were superb. Make sure to make spicy if you like hot! The staff were super friendly and helpful.

What a funky little place. We ordered the Corn beef hash and the Foolish Craig. Both were amazing. Our waiter Cory actually suggested both and he knocked it out of the park. Everyone was super friendly and we enjoyed the funkiness of the place.
My husband and I really loved this place and would totally recommend it to anyone.

Just a great experience. I was a party of one. Was no problem. Got seated outside by a friendly young man. Looked like a college student. Real personable fella. My server was a sweet young girl, equally nice. The food was amazing and top quality. Got the Denver Omelet. Was the possibly the best omelet I've ever had in my 55 years. The eggs had a rich taste and color you only get from farm fresh eggs raised right. All the veggies were crispy and also fresh. My only complaint was the only one piece of delicious homemade cinnamon raisin toast,lol. It was hearty and excellent. The Arnold Palmer I drank was my first. I enjoyed it. Quite refreshing. I'm in town visiting from Portland Maine, and I will be eating here again before I leave . I highly recommend this place.

What an unexpected find on our trip to Boulder a couple weeks ago. Walking along Pearl street and looking for some brunch with a few drinks we saw this place and were able grab a couple seats at the bar. Great service on a crowded, busy Sunday. The staff was pleasant even though they were hustling. And the food was outstanding. I had the corned beef hash with a couple eggs, and my wife had the huevos rancheros. The corned beef is done in house and was so tender and not overly spiced. Both were generous plates that we eagerly polished off! We ate at several restaurants in Boulder and Golden over a couple day's and this was our favorite casual place by far. Would definitely recommend!

Had the crab cake benedict and the brie foolish and both were delicious!

Loved this place! Ended up sitting at the bar there for hours because the staff is so wonderful, and the restaurant itself is just homey and comfortable. Their Bloody Mary was delicious, as well as all the food I tried. Here is the brie & pear omelet, and the millionaire bacon. As previously stated in another review, I did expect a more unique presentation than just a plate of bacon covered in syrup, but it was still delicious

Sophia our server was amazing! She was on her game and on top of everything. Her suggestions on menu items as well as things to do in the area were excellent.

The food was fantastic. I had the Foolish Huavos,
it was huge and super tasty.
My wife loved the house breakfast sandwich. The local drip coffee was perfect!

The atmosphere if funky and friendly.

Amazing breakfast spot! The food and drinks are something else. The beer battered onion rings are the best I've ever had. Classic Bloody Mary, onion rings, scrambled eggs and pancakes were delicious. The eggs and pancakes are also served with veggie sausages and potatoes on the side.

This place is amazing. The atmosphere was fantastic. The server was really nice and helpful.
The chorizo I had mixed into my eggs and tasted great. The crepes looked good. The French toast was interesting.
The best part is that there was no wait, where next door at Snooze had almost a 2 hour wait. And I’ve been there before, and Snooze is not worth that wait.

So good! A great old place with lots and lots going on in it! Between the food and people and artwork and decoration it's a fun little place to sit and have a nice meal! And to top it out off the drinks and food were wonderful! My husband got corn beef and hash and I got a grilled cheese with bacon. Both turned out to be wonderful choices!

Just the kind of place to stumble into not knowing how delicious and efficient they are. I sat upstairs and chatted with a friendly waiter who described the delicious food as well as some Craig philosophy. They take good care of their staff fans are very capable chefs. Loved the crepes. Must try this place!
