The Buff

Great food. We got breakfast entrees. I got the "Valley of the Sun" omelet which was delicious and unique. Side potatoes were seasoned just right. Service was very fast. Our waitress, Sydney, was very friendly and helpful. Small bar serves cocktails and beer.

For a college town spot, this place is legit! Service was excellent, they treat folks like they matter even if you're an outsider. Food was spot on, try the Americana homestead skillet, delicious.

This is fantastic love for brunch! Expect a wait if you come at a normal brunch time, everybody loves this place! The food is fantastic, great flavor and portions and deals as well! The service was also great! Such wonderful wait staff. Our waiter was friendly, open, and not hard on the eyes! 🤣 I would come back just to be sat in his section. Really though, service was wonderful and prompt, knew exactly what I wanted. Atmosphere was also really nice! Restaurant is in a good area to walk around in, and the inside is exactly what you’d expect a brunch place in Boulder to be like.

Giving 5 starts simply because it’s a brunch spot worth seeing, even though I found the food and atmosphere to be average. That said, our server was great and attentive, having no issue splitting checks for a large party. Our group had to wait for about an hour (arriving at 9:15 on a Sunday morning) and by the time we left, the wait was even longer. They don’t take reservations either so expect to wait for awhile if you’re going during the weekend. Parking can also hard be to find. Most people love this spot so take my review with a grain of salt. :)

We had 2 adults and 2 kids. The estimated wait time was accurate, and totally worth the wait! The food was very good, very flavorful and fresh. The kids had a kid sized portion strawberry pancake. We had the breakfast quesadilla, egg potatoes and toast. I also had to try the famous large iced coffee! That was very good, I couldn't finish it. My friend got their special sunset or sunrise drink, I cant remember the name with alcohol in it. That was very good and only $2 or $3 each. We also had to try the pecan carmel quesadilla, this is under the appetizers section on menu, this was so good!!! We were seated by the small bar in a booth. It was very busy and right by the hostess stand and front door, so it was a bit tight but we had room in the booth. I'd eat here if I'm in the area again!

For brunch, it's a decent place in town. I enjoyed the food. The latte tastes good. However, the wait time can be a bit long and the food is a little pricey. Parking is not easy to find.

Small wait but totally worth it. Pancakes are huge, fluffy and delicious along with the other main entrees. Our favorite was the skillet

Went here on a snowy Saturday morning so we had no wait. The wait staff was friendly. Had ordered a hot toddy and White Buffalo Cakes. I ended up taking ~ half my pancake home.

The rest my group ordered Lemon Pecan Cakes and Chicken and French Toast. Both looked delicious.

Amazing food and very accommodating menu to a huge range of dietary restrictions. I had Atlantic omelette that came with GF toast and grilled vegetables per my request.
Service is also great, very friendly attentive and professional staff.

Our favorite place to grab breakfast! Everything we had was incredibly delicious and just as indulgent as I needed it to be. I loved the breakfast tacos and the chimichanga. *drool* So good!

I have received excellent service from Shaena H. My girlfriend and I have had a great time here, excellently. The food is excellent, well cooked. I thank the restaurant team for doing a great job and providing excellent service. Extremely great service. I totally recommend it. Plus, it has a tremendous view next to one of the mountains, perfect for a date.

Liked the interior decor and felt the place was well-run and clean. There was plenty of choice - especially for a brunch-style restaurant. The presentation of the food was nice and the food was tasty! The only real gripe I have is the parking situation.. Parking spaces are limited and very tightly packed! I had very little room to even get out of my car door, and I can't see how a truck or longer vehicle could ever hope to adequately fit in there!

In town visiting from Texas, this place had great service, great food and great people! I got the fruit bowl. Food was priced great, came out pretty fast and was delicious. Thank you Alexis for great service !!

We had such a great new years brunch here! We arrived right as they were opening & got us seated immediately & food came SO quickly after we ordered. Our waiter was sweet & offered some suggestions (like the saddlebags pancakes which were amazing)! Mimosas are 99 cents with the purchase of an entree (limit 3) & the coffee was delicious. We will happily be back next time we’re in Boulder!! Go early though, because by the time we left the wait was getting long!

If you’re in Boulder, this is the place to go. The service is always nice and fast, and the food is great. If you’re planning on going on the weekend, be ready to wait a little, it is super busy! I always have the buffaquiles and the iced white Buffalo. 10/10

The Matterhorn skillet is 👌👌👌 We were lucky to arrive at 9am, be seated immediately, and had great service. Felt comfortable and not rushed despite the fact that there was a long line out the door when we finished. Really nice atmosphere, can’t wait to be back soon!

Not one to leave reviews but this spot deserves it! Me and my girlfriends first time, who have both previously worked in the service industry. Despite the long line on Valentines Day we barely waited 10 minutes for a table. The food was excellent. Our server, Nicholas was a 10/10. What a gem of a guy. The staff all seemed incredibly on point. The management is clearly doing something right. We’ll be back.

Get ready for lines! Couldn’t decide what to order, there were too many great looking dishes; we constantly flip flopped between what we usually order for brunch and what The Buff is known for, but we decided to try the latter… worth it! They’re huge portions, so you’ll definitely come hungry leave super happy. They also have 99c drinks deal if you order with entree, that was cool - ordered Bloody Mary and Tequila sunrise. Server was quick and friendly- overall 5* would come again

Amazing food, outstanding service, and unbelievable prices. I wish this place was in Atlanta where I live.
