I called Boulder Fermentation Supply and Jack answered the phone. I can’t remember the last time. I got such great information and amazing customer service.

He was genius level knowledgeable and knew exactly what I needed to build out my system that i have been trying to figure out. This is the best fermentation supply company in Boulder.

I drove down from Loveland and this places exceeds expectations. Not only were they knowledgeable on all the basics of home brewing, they also were knowledgeable about kombucha, mycology, and dairy applications.

If you're in need of something fermentation or culturing related, this is the place to goin the front range!

Boulder Fermentation Supply is an amazing homebrew store with all the ingredients and equipment you could ever want. Being able to purchase custom amounts of specialty grains and mill everything onsite is a huge benefit that lets you get exactly what you want. And the staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly to boot! Highly recommended.

Patient and knowledgeable staff. Bought all my fermenters from them including 6, 6gallon w lids and recently a 8 and 12 gallon i got used but at an amazing price and in great condition. When I was starting out the staff was very helpful and patient. Grains and dextrose are as good as anywhere you'll find and usually you get a price break in bulk. Overall great dudes especially Adam who has helped me alot. Thanks fellas

Great place for not just brewing supplies, very knowledgeable about fermentation, and cheese making.

Besides having an ample selection of brewing supplies, the woman working on 09/14/20 was helpful, knowledgeable, and very respectful. A patron walked into the shop without a mask and she immediately told them the policy and made sure they left immediately. Time's are tough right now and being respectful seems to be a quality that is more and more in the minority.

Oh man these guys rock! Greg and Adam are so passionate about what they do and are always willing to help you find what you need for whatever project or brew you have going on. If they don't have it they'll find a way to get it and call you once they get it in. Great selection on everything from grain to hops. Oh and don't forget the brewery they just opened up attached to the store. This place it really coming along great. Always leaving a happy customer. Happy brewing.

This is a small, up and coming homebrew shop, but the owners are passionate about all things homebrew. Adam possibly knows more about making sake than anyone in Boulder and is an award winning brewer as well. Greg is a great brewer and knows a lot about distilling, not to mention he can design some awesome custom made brewing and distilling set ups. I highly recommend checking these guys out. They're customer service and knowledge will not disappoint!

This place is awesome! Huge selection of great selection of specialty grains, especially Colorado grains. Unique, hard to find hops, (hello Belma, Amarillo, and El Dorado) and a super helpful knowledgeable staff who you can just tell love brewing. Seriously, these guys will talk brewing and recipe creation all day. This beats every other brew shop I've been to in a 50 mile radius.

Great place. Friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff, wall to wall supplies. Couldn't ask for a better homebrew supply experience, especially as a relative amateur. Would highly recommend for first timers and experienced homebrewers alike.

If you're trying to brew kombucha, this is a great place to start. I walked in completely uninformed and the staff were quick to help me and answer any question I had.

The best part of the experience was that there were plenty of options, so I could have had a totally different starter 'kit'. I was glad to have so many choices. I eventually settled on a glass gallon jar, some flip top bottles for flavoring/bottling the kombucha, cheesecloth and a funnel.

Great service, amazing store with a lot of supplies and options. The guys here really know what they are doing. Whether you are just starting to brew or have been doing it for years, the guys working at BFS are very kind and helpful for all brewing levels!

Finally, a homebrew store in Boulder that has all of the ingredients I am looking for on brew day! The staff was really helpful and friendly. Great selection of grains, hops, and yeast. I will definitely be coming back for ALL of my homebrew needs!

It's less a store and more like Narnia for home brewers located inside a nondescript warehouse. And the owners really know what they're doing, from mead and cider to the myriad wines and beers, these guys can always point you in the right direction. I try to run my recipes by them whenever I'm in there and they always have great suggestions. Keep it up!

Boulder Fermentation Supply is definitely a new up and coming brew supply store. Soon to be the best in Boulder. As a previous customer of Hop To It I can say that I am a lot more satisfied with Boulder Fermentation Supply's grain and hop selection, and customer service. With a brewing genius like Adam there to help you no project is out of reach! Boulder's home brews will soon be tasting even better!!!

These guys are great for brewing help. Stopped in and had a couple intermediate questions answered with a smile. Always a pleasure to stop in and have a beer at Vision Quest after getting a batch or two worth of ingredients.

Great little shop with knowledgeable staff and a wide selection- just about everything you would need for home-brew. Julianne helped me and offered great advice, will definitely be back!

I live near Memphis,TN and cannot get Colorado Malting Company products at my LBHS, so I contacted Adam and Greg at Boulder Fermentation Supply to get my CMC malts. These guys are great to work with. They were both knowledgeable, friendly, and more than willing to be go the extra mile to be helpful (even though I was a "telephone" customer living 1,100 miles away.) I envy those who live in the Boulder area who can actually go and visit the store and visit with these guys in person.

Very impressed by this business, the owners really have the knowledge. A little hard to find but well worth it. All the necessities are there and the plans for the future are in place. Support this awesome new Boulder shop. You won't be sorry.

Great place. Every time I come here I get the help I need and I can usually find all the stuff I need. Something too many people in Boulder dont understand is that its the PEOPLE that make the place. If you want repeat business you gotta have a shred of personality or at least be a pleasant person. Boulder has too many self professed snotty elite types and they can usually be found right in shops like this. NOT here though. The dude behind the counter is always there to answer any questions and has never been condescending with his answers; (to me or anyone in line before me) sometimes ya gotta wait to talk him. Hes like the Don of brewing.
