Ansede Animal Hospital

Woke up to my dogs face swollen on one side and I was FREAKED OUT> Newish to the area and had no idea where to go. Thanks to NextDoor - I saw 2 recommendations that stood out. I was SO lucky to call Ansede. They were beyond kind even though I was a bit panicked. They got some info over the phone and told me to come on in. They were amazing. Everyone was nice - Cookie was wagging her tail the whole time. They took us right in and were quick to assure me that Cookie was fine and it was most likely just a bug or spider bite. They did a couple other maintenance things since we were there and get more done since we were paying the visit fee. They were the best - and they are now Cookies official Vet! Highly recommend !!!

Im so thankful for the kindness and empathy that the staff at Ansede Hospital showed my husband and I last week when we had to say goodbye to our dog. I was really blown away and cannot thank them enough. It was a very sad day but their supportive and caring staff really helped make us feel more comfortable.

I’d definitely recommend this place. We’ve taken our pups here to be fixed, for preventative & urgent care, as well as grooming. They don’t overcharge or try to sell you a bunch of unnecessary stuff, and they’re thorough. The lady running the front desk is good at following up too.

I shopped around Raleigh/Garner area to get a kitten neutered and a friend recommended Ansede. Everyone was very caring and courteous. Plus their prices were way more honest than some other places. They don’t push unnecessary things on you. I will recommend and return. Thanks to all the staff!

Addendum to review below written a week ago: I've done what I consider much reading and learning about cats, and believe I have a better understanding of why my little kitty cat Charlie (I called him FreshKitty) passed so suddenly. I won't go into it all, but I do understand more now. Charlie was a short black hair domestic male rescue kitty set to be euthanized when our neighbor who is much involved in rescue pets. I mean we got him like the day he was about to be put down. He had herpes when we got him at around a month old. He lived about 6.5 years. Apparently cats can quit eating and drinking for things as minor as having a toothache. Point is they are complex animals. I hold no ill will against Ansede's. It was just so sudden and we were close. He would climb on me and groom/knead my hair. We were tight. The sudden dying is not uncommon in cats. Sorry to be long winded. Hope the info helps someone else is all. In contrast, we had a dog and she had a long life and we had plenty of time to prepare, but not with my little kitty. Life lesson learned. Thank you.

I don't know why my kitty cat, Charlie, died....why he suddenly stopped eating and drinking at around 5-6 years of age. Took him in, he was chubby at nearly 18lbs. He gotta a bunch of shots and something called 'the banana' syringe. We changed his diet using same food...Purina One Indoor Advantage... but at 1/4 cup every 12 hours. He's not happy off the get go but adapts and loses weight and returns to more of his old self...playful, more energy. After about two weeks of that we get lime green vomit and no more eating, followed soon by no drinking of water. Take him back..more shots for nausea. He stopped the green vomit but never ate again no matter what we did. It got to where he couldn't walk without falling over. Take him back to have him put down. I don't know what caused my cat to stop eating and drinking. It wasn't diabetes because we were told he didn't have diabetes. He was young and playful, and even when he was chubby, he was playful. We learned about the 1/4 cup twice a day and it was going so well. I will never understand. Purely indoor cat...no other pets.

I love the friendly staff. They always remember me and my pet's names and are so welcoming. It truly feels like the family practice that it is.

Best vet and very nice staffs. Very warm and caring. Pricing is great. Office may be small but they do care about you and your pets. Easy on the pocketbook compare to other vet. This vet does all of it. Very educated man.

Ansede has taken care of my pets since I was a kid. They offer ah overall amazing service and care. They recently got a new groomer that does amazing with my hypoallergenic pets! They also do payment plans for larger payments.

I've used this vet for over a decade as has my mother.

They are a no frills vet and I prefer that. They let me know the charges before I pay, I sign on them and we go from there.

The staff is friendly and down to earth.

Most recently my 2 kittens were sick and they saw me that day (called at 8am they saw me at 10:30).

They always are great and I will continue to go here.

Finally found a groomer that Both my dog and I like. She did a wonderful job and my Abby wasn't stressed afterwards. She was happy and beautiful in the end. Very professional staff. Friendly and knowledgeable. It's a Good feeling, and Thanks to you all for your work.

This vet is amazing. I have a 5 year old pitbull that doesn't like everyone and can be very skittish. They took so much time with me and her to make sure we were comfortable. I cannot say enough good things about this place. They are affordable and amazing
I would absolutely recommend them to everyone.

Brought my kitty here to get neutered through the Friends of Animals program. The staff was very friendly and everything went really well. Was able to get next day appointment in the morning and bring home my cat the same day later in the afternoon. Went back a week later for his check up that only took a minute. The whole experience was quick and easy and stress free.

They are AMAZING! The workers all show great care for the animals. My dog Eva had a very good and healing experience...and a big shout out to Jolene who is excellent at helping the furbabies.

Dr. ansede and his staff are wonderful! We took our new rescue to the office for heartworm treatment. We were thrilled to have our dog healed and continued care for many years. When it was time to say goodbye Dr. Ansede and his staff were very kind and accommodating to our wishes. We highly recommend this office.

Dr. Ansede and the staff provide our senior Dachsunds with all of their healthcare needs. Everything is explained in terms that are easy for us to understand while providing sincere care to make our boys feel comfortable.

We rushed our dog, Violet in at 8 AM with some sort of bite or sting to her face that made her swell up very badly. We were so afraid, have never seen our poor girls face swollen like that! We just grabbed her jumped in the car and went to the closest place and that was Ansede Animal Hospital. They took her in right away treated her and us so kindly. Thank God it was only a bee or hornet sting and not a snake bite! We were in and out! Got all her meds and the shots she needed and now she is all well! Thanks again to the wonderful staff! Sorry I didn't get names but you all were so kind! I recommend them for all your animal needs!! Check am out!!

I've been taking my dogs to Dr. Ansede for over 10 years, you can't ask for a better vet. It's always easy to get an appointment, even last minute. Prices are very affordable; probably because the facility while it more than adequately supporting its services, is modest, and the fact that Dr. Ansede is willing to take a conservative approach to care without making you feel like you're doing your pets a disservice if you don't get a lot of tests, etc that some vets seem to push (which often result in nothing more than additional expense to the pet owner) while still informing you of all options. The whole staff is wonderful, and I love that no matter what your animal comes in for whether it's surgery or routine vaccines, they always call the next day to check and see how your pet is doing. It's such a great practice!

I've been going to Dr. Ansede for almost 3 years now. I was referred to him by my friend and I have had no regrets. I had a bad experience at another vet clinic were my little Pappi Chi was given too many shots and had a very bad allergic reaction. I was told to that if she got worse to take her to an emergency clinic. This other Vet was very rude. I was crying and found Dr. Ansede's card and called them. They not only were so nice to me on the phone but gave me some quick recommendations to help her feel more comfortable and told me that if she was still feeling bad to bring her in. I've been going to them ever since. They are so great, always super friendly, they know my dogs. And when my old cat was really sick and dying, Dr. Ansede did everything he could to find out what was wrong with him. I'm so happy with them and how great the entire staff is. I can't imagine going to anyone else and I recommend them to everyone I know.

Our kitty has been a patient here for almost 5 years. Very attentive staff, they take care of him as if it were their own. Always explain every step of what they are doing and try to keep him calm during our visits when he has shots etc.
