Came here for Capital City BMX. HIGHLY RECOMMEND coming here and watching the kids of all ages, amd maybe, just maybe, you'll want to participate like our daughter decided to!
We came and brought our daughter of 9 for the first Ladies Only day, and she liked it SO much, she was racing that afternoon. They have rental helmets and bikes, and USA BMX has a 1 day membership FREE, if you want to give it a try.
Now, we volunteer when we can, practice when we can, and race as often as we choose.

We love this park.. they have a few different playgrounds numerous basketball goals indoor and outdoor and space to play soccer.. I have kids in age range of 6 to 18 so everyone has a goodtime here

Excellent community park. Friendly staff. BMX park with immaculate jumps and track (by appt and fee) Fields for sports of all kinds and several tennis courts and basketball courts. Center has full service bathrooms with showers for men women and families. Fill up your water bottles and join the small exercise gym for a small fee. Great park geared towards all ages with larger picnic shelter for celebrations or family reunions. There is more than enough parking for guests.

Great hidden spot. I like to chill here before ending my day. When downtown parking is a money trap. Instead I'll sit and chill here return for business downtown.

My kids enjoyed. The park is very clean and well put together. They also made some friends I will bring them back 😊

This park is perfect for family with kids of all ages. They have kid play grounds for little kids and middle age kids. They have slides and swings. The park has a bike ride mountain trail. Kids must register and have a helmet to ride the bike trail. The park has 4 baseball field each field have bleachers or you can take a blanket or chair to seat on the grass, tennis field, and basketball field. It also have a center with restroom. The restroom were very clean. Pets are also allow in the park. No complaints about this park. They have multiples parking lot.

Took my kids there yesterday and it brought back so many memories when my cousin and I used to play there as children. They are doing a lot of renovations but the BMX track, baseball and basketball courts are still there. The neighborhood around it have changed dramatically. It used to be rough back in the 90s. The playground is awesome with tall trees and shaded areas so it doesn't get too hot. May consider buying a house there soon.

We had a wonderful visit to the Lions Park playground this afternoon. The whole play area sits in a grove of mature trees, so it is considerably cooler than the other parks we frequent even though it is June. Each section of the Lions playground (2-5 area, sandbox/beach section, and big kids area) has comfortable benches for the grown-ups to rest on while they supervise the kids, and all the play areas have that soft squishy turf around the equipment. Most of the kids ran around barefooted while they played.

Four different ethnic groups came by while we were at the park, which I think indicates a very healthy, strong park. Many visitors came from the park athletic fields, looking for something to do while parents or siblings played basketball or softball. I s pleased to see that all the kids got along well with one another. No bullying, nitpicking, or arguing. A few people had dogs, but they were leashed and clearly kid-friendly.

All in all, we really enjoyed an idyllic afternoon. If you are looking for a cool place to play and don't want to fight the crowds at Pullen, I highly recommend that you try Lions Park. I think you will be pleasantly surprised!

This park has something for everyone!

The bmx track is the best place to take a kid to introduce them to something other than standard organized sports. They have rental bikes and helmets for anyone interested in trying it out as well. Just make sure to wear long pants and a long sleeve shirt to aid in protection in the slight chance you or your child may fall.

Great playground area, separated out for 2–5 year olds and 5–12 year olds. My son isn't yet 2, but still was able to use the playground with supervision and he LOVED it. The equipment is new, clean, and age appropriate. I was surprised there weren't more kids here on a Saturday afternoon. I can tell we'll come here often.

THIS IS A GREAT PLACE FOR COOKOUTS, SPORTS EVENTS, AND THEY BHAVE CHILDREN PROGRAMS, LASTLY WEEKLY BMX bike event every weekend

So much to do. Bike trails, basketball,baseball, tennis, park for the kids. Keep very clean very diverse. Great place to have fun

Great multi use park. Still has a BMX race track. Lots of play spaces, tennis and ball courts, baseball and such fields! Many classes for the knee high!

Lions Park looked straight to me...it was sunny cool and nice outside people were enjoying the loveliness... bathrooms were clean...it seemed like it had more to offer...

I came here as a child , then with my own boys when they were children. It still is family oriented and safe!! The bike trails are fun and challenging.
