My vet in Durham recommended Dr Orlando after my terrier bit me and I am so grateful. He is a rescue with a questionable history and his fear aggression seemed to come out of nowhere. Dr Orlando taught me to read his signs and recognize what sets him off and it totally changed our lives.

This March, another rescue came into our lives who had some resource guarding issues. She started attacking the terrier if he got within 15 feet or so of where she was fed. I called Dr Orlando quite distraught wondering if we would even be able to keep the new dog. Dr. Orlando made time for us to come in that same day. She spent an hour and a half with us watching the dogs together and gave advice about how to handle the resource guarding. She assured us that the husky is not aggressive.

I have appreciated Dr Orlando's very thorough and individual approach to my dogs and their behavior. She has provided excellent follow up, answering questions over email and phone.

We have not had another biting incident with the terrier, who has become a more affectionate pet... and both dogs are now great companions to each other and the humans. Thank you, Dr Orlando for saving my sanity and possibly my terrier's life... and for helping us bring a new dog into the house successfully.

I was fortunate to have met Dr. Orlando when she was a resident at NCSU. She was kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, and communicative. Dr. Orlando took an incredibly detailed history so that she had all of the information required to help me and my dog, and was there for us every step of the way.

The Triangle is incredibly fortunate to have Dr. Orlando providing care as a board-certified veterinary behaviorist in the area. Her expertise is second to none and I am highly recommend her services to anyone whose pet is having behavioral issues.

Dr. Orlando is very professional, kind, and helpful. She gave me advice and some ideas on various methods to try with my dog (that our regular vet didn't provide us with). Glad we found her!

Prices were extremely expensive...over $500 and not more helpful than doing your own research online. You are required to fill out a 7 page intake form. At my appointment I was asked more questions (about 90% of the time) and only the last few minutes were directed towards advice, most of which I already knew based on my research. I would not recommend.
