Incredible food and incredible service. For appetizers, we had two kinds of pierogis (mushroom and cheese and potato and cheese) and a pretzel. For entrees, we had the brisket and the jagershnitzel. Highly recommend for Eastern European food in Raleigh!

I am in love with this place! Such good food, I had no idea pierogies could taste so amazing. Certainly not Mrs. T's.
The staff is always wonderful, ordering is through an app and arrives like lightening, the decor and ambiance is cozy and inviting, and the beer selection is unique. I ate there three times the first week I discovered it - my husband thought I might be addicted. I just might be...

J Betski's is a great restaurant, and is honestly one of my personal favorites for a quick bite. Their unique online ordering system allows each person to order, and pay separately, as well as decrease the time it takes for food to be delivered to the table. Speaking of which, all of the staff are very nice, and the time it takes for food to get from the kitchen to the table is very short. The atmosphere of the restaurant is quite nice, and is great for hanging out with friends, or family, but also would be quite nice for a date. I personally ordered the pork schnitzel, but also tried a bunch of my friends' meals, and they were all great. I ordered their Root Beer, and it ended up being one of the best root beers I have tried. The glass garage doors are pretty cool, as even if they are closed, they are able to function like a large window. I personally like to sit at one of the tables next to the inside, outside area, so I can get a great view of both the inside and outside of the restaurant. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a place to hang out with friends.

Co-worker shared this place with us, and so glad she did. The staff was extremely welcoming, food was excellent and came out at a nice pace to the table. A great date night place or if you are just craving some good German fare.

J Betski’s has found its way into my list of top five Raleigh restaurants. I’m half German on my mother’s side. I grew up with German dishes in rotation for home cooking and like to eat at German/Eastern European restaurants. Several outstanding German/Eastern European restaurants that stand out for me are Mader’s in Milwaukee, Amber Rose in Dayton, an amazing Polish restaurant in Joliet that I hope still exists but I’m embarrassed I don’t remember its name. J Betski’s is on par and above all of these restaurants that represent the best of this cuisine. It’s tucked into the back of a strip mall and the vibe is a little sterile but it’s cute and clean with great staff. Do yourself a favor, eat here. If you’re not familiar with German/Eastern European food, ask questions about the menu. There is food here you will love. The staff know the food, they will help you find what you’ll love. Henry at the bar took great care of us. Everything I had my first time here was amazing. The sausage plate is a collection of house made sausages pickles and extras. All fantastic but the plate includes braised cabbage and the braised cabbage is sublime. A perfect bite. For entrees, my wife got the Jaegerschnitzel, I stole some and the schnitzel mushrooms spaetzle and braised sauerkraut were all delicious. I had the smoked trout, which was also amazing. Finally the strudel… just get the strudel. You’re welcome.
Also the butter infused old fashioned is worth a try if you like an old fashioned but it is on the sweet side. I’m looking forward to getting back here soon.

Hands down best European food in Raleigh. Excited to have a local spot to get delicious pierogis! Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly, comfortable and clean atmosphere, great beer and cocktails. PS we are not normally dessert people when we eat out but the Torte was 10/10. We will be back !!

This place has been added to my list of dinner spots! The food was wonderful - all the perogies and the scallops. The icing on the cake is knowing they sell their food in a take-and-cook fashion. They are really close to a place I visit often for work. I have no excuse for not stopping buy for some to-go perogies or for lunch when I'm in the area for work!

As a Pole, I'm ashamed it took me this long to check this place out. I had the Pierogi Burger and the cabbage wedge and they were elite level flavor and quality. The Burger had an aoili and balsamic and port glazed onions that gave a slightly sweet tangy flavor that made it a beautiful experience. The potato crisps were...crispy and ridiculously fluffy on the inside. The staff were all genuinely friendly and provided a great experience. If I could change anything, I'd like the option to get the beef at different temps since I enjoy rare/med rare. I look forward to trying the more traditional dishes they have here!

I had the sausage appetizer and brisket. House made sausage was very flavorful with homemade pickles and mustard good size potion. I had brisket for dinner and it was best I’ve had in a long time

I have been a J Beski's fan for more than 1/3 of my life and was so crushed when they closed their former location. I knew a new concept was coming and was delighted to learn some of my favorite and most missed dishes would be back.

The new concept definitely takes some of their former food and culture and makes it a bit more accessible. Mobile ordering gives you freedom to add more whenever you'd like. J Betski's isn't a Chilis so if you're expecting dollar menu prices, don't come here. If you're expecting amazing food, then DO come here. Your paying for quality ingredients and experienced chefs - you get what you pay for!

The staff was so friendly and the food comes out so fast. The menu has continued to expand since the first reopened and I could not be more pleased to see the pretzels on the menu AND with the pate. Food is as fantastic as ever. The new take and heat menu is also incredible. I see this as J Betski's pivot to adapting to the times, finding what the younger generations wants, what service looks like in a post-covid world, and keeping Polish/German food available for people in Raleigh.

The trout was exceptional, my wife had Brisket and it melted in her mouth. The flavor and seasonings were perfect. You can’t go wrong spending an evening or afternoon at J Betski’s and whatever you do leave room for a chocolate tort I guarantee it will be the a heavenly experience.

I really enjoyed J. Betski's! We got the smoked trout and the Jaegerschnitzels and they were both delicious. I absolutely loved the trout, the skin was so crispy and it was also so tender! The lobster pierogies are also really good. I'm excited to come back here when I'm wanting to treat myself!

Great food, exceptional service. Feels like upscale comfort food. They have a nice selection of cold/frozen food for takeaway, got some phenomenal curry bratwurst a while back.
They do use a QR code based menu (they have a paper one for those without a phone or who have trouble managing that), when you order it's important to order each course independently, otherwise you'll get the food as soon as it's cooked, meaning you might get your main before an appetizer. Food prices are average for moderate upscale dining.

Everything here was phenomenal. The duck was cooked and plated perfectly, potato crisps were savory, salty and rich from the tallow, and the burger was made with great, flavorful ground beef.

J Betski’s is a modern and charming restaurant (with nice outdoor patio) that serves delicious Polish/German food. The dishes are nicely developed and well seasoned. The traditional Polish/German cuisine is upgraded to a new and contemporary way. For example, they serve pierogies with sweet potatoes and I must say they are super delicious. The Pork Schnitzel is the actual pork breaded cotlet was soft, juicy and crunchy; therefore, was prepared to the perfection. Also, I love their root beer.
I strongly recommend dining at J Betski’s to everyone. Enjoy!!

Henry, the primary bartender, is the best in the business. Even if you’re just out for one drink, your one drink should be here.

The food is always outstanding. I have been coming here for over five years, and never had less than a stellar meal. Whether solo, with my family, or with my friends, J Betskis is a guaranteed great meal with top notch service.

Don’t leave without trying one of their many kinds of pierogis, consider the specials because they’re consistently very good, and save room for their made-in-house desserts.

Highly recommend. Everything I've ordered has been amazing. The menu changes regularly but you can't go wrong. You order via phone/app but it still feels like you're getting great service.

A very nice experience. Very large transparent garage doors give a special place. The server was very nice and was bilingual. Ordering was smooth, directly through the QR code at the table. Service was lightning fast so did the check at exit. The pierogi burger is really worth the try and you are likely to like the special presentation for fries

Fantastic food! Service was super fast and friendly, and the mushroom pierogi burger was among the best I've had. The smoked trout is also tasty! Highly recommend trying the food and drinks here!
