The folks here consistently exceed expectations. I went to get a new set of screws and dry wall hooks to mount a smoke detector. The employee took the mounting bracket and picked out the right size screws and drywall anchors for me. There was no guessing the size or buying a giant box of things I didn’t need like I would have at Lowe’s. Recommend this store any day over the big box retailers.

I had the pleasure of receiving incredible assistance from Natalie, the assistant manager at Ace Hardware, just before the store closed. Natalie’s product knowledge is truly phenomenal; she expertly guided me through my shopping and helped me find everything I needed. Her friendly and approachable demeanor made the experience even better. It’s clear that Natalie takes pride in her role and is dedicated to ensuring customer satisfaction. Without a doubt, she is the best! Kudos to Natalie for making my visit to Ace Hardware exceptional. Her exceptional service deserves recognition.

Greg did a great job providing customer service. He was friendly and was able to quickly identify the part I needed to complete the repair I was working on. I will definitely be shopping at this location again.

Such a cool hardware store. Seems to have most anything you would need for home projects. They even sell disc golf discs.

These are my go-to buddies. I LOVE this place. It is one of the gems in Raleigh. I fear every day they might have to close for developers. I always walk out of their store smarter. Sometimes I explain to a staff member something they didn't know and they always appreciate the conversation. This is a business that should exist into infinity.

Love these guys. Very helpful, tenured staff. Even tho they are a national chain, you feel as tho you are supporting a local store. We bought a lawnmower recently and were thrilled to find it a bit less expensive than at the other 2 national hardware stores.

Nice store, friendly staff. Not as much selection as in larger home improvement stores, but here you get better customer service and a more knowledgeable staff as well.
They'll typically have what you need, just maybe a bit less variety to choose from.
Would recommend.

Everyone is pleasant and it is well-stocked with most of your everyday needs. I went in for a few bolts and felt as though I was given VIP service for a $1 purchase. Do yourself a favor and skip the big box stores when you can and visit Ace.

You just can't beat an ACE Hardware store. This wasn't my first visit and it's not close to my home but it was close to where I had to go. I was in desperate need of stakes to stake a flower arrangement on my son's gravesite - the old stakes had been removed by who knows. ACE Hardware helped me find stakes and then cut them down for me and drilled holes in them for me. I was taken aback and yet not surprised by the generosity and support of the staff. If I lived closer, I'd shop there all the time. ACE is definitely the place!!! Thank you everyone!!!

First time going to this store, so didn't know what to expect. I had called in advance to see if they sold what I had, and he took the time to run back and count how many they had in stock, get me dimensions etc. When I arrived in person, I received incredible attention from employees who just wanted to be helpful, and the cashier was super friendly as well. This is what a "small town" hardware store is supposed to be like. Thanks to the Ace Seaboard people!

Great place for most of your home remodel and repairs things just wish they had lumber… They do however have plywood and they deliver with in the belt line for free and only a 25 dollar charge for outside the belt line. Just ask around great helpful staff too.

Always helpful. Good paint selection. They need to keep in stock the green pellet rat poison. Other larger retailers do.

A perfect hardware store right where you need it near downtown with (almost) everything you need. Great for a painting project of any size, picking up some hanging hardware, a roll of duct tape, birdseed or a jug of simple green ( all things I have purchased at ace). And let us not forget the great staff!

Awesome local hardware stop with everything you need from basics to home reno project gadgets. The paint department staff was very helpful with my lack of knowledge in attempting to pick out colors for a project. Love this (pl)Ace!
