El Mariachi Loco

Been a while since I've been here and they didn't disappoint! I like the redesigned bar area and the young lady serving me was really helpful and friendly. Got the pork and pineapple street tacos and they were killer! Do yourself a favor and stop by for a good meal.

I've been a regular customer here for years. The owner, Ivan & his buisness are top notch 👌 my son loves their cheese dip!

I have been a loyal customer at this eatery since it 1st opened it's doors, and both the food and service have always been good here. The recent remodel of the restaurant is great as is the addition of several new dishes to the menu along with some $3.99 lunch specials for those on a budget, I mean you can't eat fast-food anywhere and get a complete meal for $3.99, much less sit down somewhere as nice as this and actually be waited on. If your in Petal and want to enjoy a good meal in a nice environment, then El Mariachi Loco is the place for you...

My first time here and I wasn't disappointed. The staff here was very friendly, attentive and gave you the feeling you were part of the family. The food was very good and came out in a reasonable amount of time. I will be back and would recommend giving this place a try.

"El Mar" as we like to call it, is an absolute staple in Petal. It was one of the first non fast food restaurants to open in town and it's still going strong. You MUST eat there to keep this restaurant an important part of the community. The family that owns it is awesome as well.

Ivan was a fantastic waiter and the food was excellent. This is a new favorite place will definitely be back!!

This is my favorite restaurant. I could write a book about why this is the best restaurant in Petal. Anything else is second best, AT BEST. And some of the choices in Petal charge the same price and give you leftover slop. I'll just spell it out THIS way:

Best Place To Eat In Petal (best value, most for money, delicious, quality): El Mariachi

And the Worst Place to Eat In Petal (leftovers, gross, yuck, low quality, yet same price as El Mariachi if not MORE): It rhymes with Blue Shine Enough Aye.

Try the Sweep the Swamp, or the Pollo Loco with a side salad, or one of the Cuban lunch specials. They all bien!

Awesome food, great atmosphere, very refreshing margaritas! I love eating here on a beautiful day! Sitting outside it's very nice! The staff is very friendly there's always someone to meet you at the door with a smile!

Tried a new dish recommended by server and it did not disappoint. Will order this again.

In town because of Hurricane Michael. Ended up eating here two nights in a row! My wife got the Cuban pork tamales and they were to die for. I got the grilled steak which was awesome as well. Came back the next night to try the Cuban sandwich and was not disappointed. The service was great both nights!

This has become our favorite place to enjoy a drink and a meal. It feels as if we're dining with family and are treated that way. Best margaritas in town and food is always delish.
