I recently purchased a 2009 Volvo from Raleigh Auto and I am extremely happy with my purchase. The employees were very welcoming and professional yet at no point did I feel any pressure to buy or walk. They allowed me to inspect and test drive the vehicle alone without any nagging but were always available to answer any questions or concerns I might have had, which was greatly appreciated. It was evident that they take a lot of pride in the quality of the vehicles they sell and the condition in which they’re sold. The prices are fair and they are definitely willing to work with you but feel free to do your research. Overall I am very satisfied with my decision and would highly recommend checking them out if you’re in the market for a used car.

Very happy with my purchase. I bought a car from them and my sunroof broke so I called them and they told me come in so they could look at it. They fixed the sunroof completely free along with giving me a loaner car 100% free. They were also very patient with me when I called a several times bugging and getting an attitude. I would buy from this lot again and would definitely recommend the lot to anyone I know looking for a reliable car from honest people who go over and beyond to make customers happy! There are so many negative reviews on used car lots, so I’m really pleased that I’m able to offer a positive review for Downtown Auto Sales in Raleigh. I found this vehicle online last night, and reached out to the dealership with questions, and they got back with me promptly. When I went in this afternoon, I was able to test drive the car, and true to their promise of a quick transaction, we were able to complete the entire process in about 15 minutes. it was a pleasant interaction, and I would most certainly recommend them to anybody else, and even use them again in the future. Thank you, Patrick, for making what is often a painful process a very painless process.
After a few weeks I did notice that one of the taillights was broken but it was not a big deal I just replaced it with a used one .
Wish I knew since day one but not a deal breaker . Great place to buy older used cars.

I visited here today and the customer service is A1 ! I didn’t catch the sellers name but he was very pleasant and polite when we spoke. I really appreciated the children’s books and little table in there. That way my son could be inside with his dad instead of outside with me and screaming to go in with his dad ! And the Pac-Man ?! Very nostalgic, of course I played it.

Got a vehicle with them and I am quite impressed at their professionalism and service. They went above and beyond in helping me out getting my title and registration expedited immediately from the DMV.

Great experiences from Greg all around. He was very helpful from the start, especially considering I was coming down from Massachusetts for the car. I had no surprises from the car, drives great as expected, and drove 700 miles back to Massachusetts beautifully. We had a minor issue with the paperwork, but Greg was quick to sort it out for us. I stopped by this morning on a whim to test drive their HHR. I have been getting into the market for an HHR and they were close to me with one available so I went to get a feel for the model to make sure I didn’t hate it. Don’t let external appearance or location fool you, this is a great little dealership. I was extremely surprised with Patrick and their selection. I saw stuff on their lot you never normally see, so if higher mileage versions or affordable versions of unique cars are what you were looking for this is the place! Patrick was not at all pushy and spent time with me regardless of the fact I was not buying that day. From the reviews I see online as well as their professionalism and selection, this is the only time I’ve ever recommended a used car dealership!

If I could give 6 stars I would. Patrick is a great, straight up guy and takes care of his customers. Bought a Ford Focus from Patrick and Greg over a year ago to save on commuting after returning to the office. Had a great experience throughout the process. They even replaced a slightly slow window regulator for me after a pre-purchase inspection by my mechanic. Have had no issues with the car after 18k miles. Will definitely do business with them again, if I’m ever able to kill this thing!

Patrick was EXTREMELY helpful and honest when it came to his cars. Being a young couple and buying a car without parents for the first time, he gave us great advice. He let us test drive the car for as long as as we wanted. No questions asked. Tags and title at the location make it quick and easy. I really can’t say enough good things about this business.
