Huck's General Store

This place is amazing.. It took me back to a simpler time, my childhood came rushing back. It was fun explaining to my 6yrs how some of the old toys worked and showing her some of the old candies I grew up on. That's not all, they have something for everyone, from Tshirts, handcrafted soaps, to sauces and honey. The owner is super pleasant, and was super welcoming also helpful at every turn. This place is truly a gem! Check out all the pictures I shared and give this review a like!

A cool little shop that takes you down memory lane

An incredibly large assortment of candies, condiments, and, soft drinks.

Also, a large selection of hats, t-shirts and souvenirs.

You can buy single candies which is sold by weight.

Swept up into a past I've only heard about in stories, Huck's General store is full of sweet nostlagia. Filled with treats from when I was a kid to when my grandparents were kids, this shop seems to have it all.

Besides the cavity case you might catch from just looking inside the window, there's fun little gifts for everyone. From t-shirts to games, favorite recipe items and condiments, I was able to get something for my Aunts and my little nieces and nephews.

They've also got the best variety of postcards, stickers and magnets if u really wanna go old school. So, better not leave Blue Ridge without making a Huck's run. Enjoy!

This was our second time coming to Huck’s while on vacation. Heather was such a knowledgeable and friendly employee. The guy behind the counter with the beard was very enthusiastic and had great customer service. This place never disappoints!😄

I love, love, love a general store. Staff was friendly and funny. Great to chat it up about the area. great assortment of items and things from the area. A must stop when in Blue Ridge.

A jam packed shop! I bought candy and little Blue Ridge souvenirs. The candy was fresh, especially the yummy fruit slices! The two women working there were also kind and made me feel very welcomed in their store.

One of a kind store - this is a must stop and go in kind of store. There is something for everyone. My family and I went in and we were in here forever. If you buy a bottled soda pop. They will pop the top for you right there. When you come in - what I am assuming is the owner- greets everyone and asks where your from. What a simple added touch. This reminded me of a store from when I was growing up and even had some of the candies from that time that I could share with my kids. Just an overall fantastic place.

Really cool store. Tons of unique, old fashioned candy and toys as well as a lot of food items and gifts.

What a great shopping experience. Reminds me of a few shops I’ve visited in the past up in p town mass. Lots of specialized products to browse through.

Lots of fun gifts if you're in the area visiting. My son enjoyed the pick-your-own candy bins.

This was on my list of " go here" while in the area. It was very busy several times we went. There were a lot of things in there although I would not say it is a old time general store, but worth taking a look.

One of our favorite stops in downtown Blueridge!! There is lots of good candy choices, rootbeer, and gifts. It's your one stop shop!! The service is just as incredible. And there is no way you can walk out empty handed

Such a fun store to visit! Great prices on melissa and doug toys (our favorite!) and unique candies and foods. I loved being able to find matching shirts for me and my toddler. The hospitality in this store is unmatched. At check out you feel like you're catching up with a friend!

I saw this store when I was looking for things to do while in Blue Ridge. I am so excited that I got to visit this country store. The staff was so friendly and attentive. Walking into Huck's was like taking a step back in time to my childhood-- you can buy candy by the pound, there is jerky, and my favorite treasure that I found.... the walking sticks.

We love Hucks. Honestly it's the only store that all of us can agree on to go into. They have affordable shirts, a ton of candy(new and retro), post cards, toys and all sorts of other things. We've been stopping by here for well over five years and it's always the same dude behind the counter. He is always happier and friendly. I guess I should find out his name one of these days. It's just a fun lil place to stop off at.

Best stickers in town (a ton to choose from). Amazing hand made soap. And the owners and staff are so friendly and helpful. Definitely stop by.

Visited Huck's awhile ago on a long-weekend trip to Blue Ridge, and I really enjoyed the store. It had a beautiful layout, a lot of cool and tasty things to buy, and was a ton of fun to walk around.

I happened to wander in with my girlfriend while walking around the Down Town area, and I am so happy that I did. We bought ourselves some treats to enjoy that evening, and got to talk to the AMAZING and kind staff while checking out. They were totally kind people and I was able to have a nice conversation with them.

Overall, I totally loved this place and I would highly recommend anybody come and visit if possible!

This place has all the unique little items from licorice to kids toys....nice little general store, owner was really friendly and made sure he knew where each of his customers were visiting from!! Definitely worth the stop in!!!
