Ask for Jonathan. He was amazing and made sure we were well taken care of and handled our requests with class and a great sense of humor. We had a party of 7 so we made reservations for the vault room. Great experience and atmosphere. Menu was amazing. Dessert menu was great as well but we had no room left. I’d highly recommend you stop in and give it a try.

Absolutely incredible! This is hands down one of the best restaurants in Blue Ridge. We ordered the mushroom toast, crab fritters, ahi tuna burger, and pecan crusted trout. It was all phenomenal. Our server, Jazzy, was also extremely kind and attentive.

What an interesting place! It is a historical bank that was turned into a restaurant. The original vault is still inside, and that uses that as a private dining room. The food was delicious! I had the stuffed mushrooms: it's stuffed with goat cheese and no breading like other stuffed mushrooms I've had. I love goat cheese so I really enjoyed this version. I also ordered Pecan Crusted Trout and the side was the kale salad. It also came with a side of mashed potatoes but I had them give me double kale. This trout was a huge serving! I only ate half of it. The skin was seared crisp and filet was moist and flavorful. There were other items on the menu that looked really good; it's too bad we are not locals or I'd definitely go back to try those as well.

Great spot for dinner. We sat at the bar and watched the restaurant fill up. We had the Centralia mushroom toast (chefs special), the blacken pork chop and the pecan crusted trout. My husband said it's the best pork chop he'd had at a restaurant.

This place feels like a classy step back in time. Beautiful ambiance. Our waitress was amazing. The food was cooked to perfection. It’s the kind of food that’ll have you making happy noises as you eat. My friends were equally satisfied with their orders. I’m so sad that this place is 450 miles away from where I live. I’d eat it every day Worth every cent.

Super impressed by this place. We made reservations and had no problem getting seated when we arrived. The atmosphere is a fun, elevated casual experience in the original bank from the 1900s. But the food was the main story. WOW. I don’t usually expect that kind of culinary cuisine in a small town, but this place was excellent. I’d put it up there with many of the fine dining restaurants I’ve been to in Florida, NYC, or Cali. We tried a few restaurants in Blue Ridge and this was by far the best food and service we experienced on our week long visit.
I recommend the corn bread skillet or stuffed mushrooms for apps. The Fried Chicken Pillard was delicious. We had a table of 11 so the burger was also highly recommended and the Salmon and Pork Chop.
Dessert was a Key Lime pie and a Cookie skillet.
Our server Aubry was professional and attentive. Honestly, if I lived here, this would be a frequent spot.

Great food is all my wife and I can say.
We had the salmon dip, cornbread, red fish, and porkchop. Dessert was the Bourbon maple bacon bread pudding. See photos for yourself. Our meal was excellent. You definitely need to try this place.

The general ledger was an incredible place to enjoy dinner. The decor and theming was a beautiful accent to the incredible food. I enjoyed the Crispy Crab Fritters as an appetizer and the Cedar Plank Salmon as a main course. Both were perfectly executed. I would absolutely come back!

We enjoyed our first visit to "The General Ledger" today. Beautiful White Mandevilla flowers greet you as you enter for your dining experience. The interior is pleasant. We were amused by the old time safe that was converted to a dining area. Kegan was very pleasant and informative. The Goat Cheese Salad and Chicken Cordon Bleu were delicious and the seasoned french fries were amazing. The live music was enjoyable. We finished off our meal with the Key Lime pie and Chocolate Skillet cookie. On your next visit to "Blue Ridge" make sure to visit "The General Ledger".

THE BEST meal I’ve ever had! Had the Salmon dip as an appetizer, and Halibut dinner. The halibut practically melts in your mouth. High quality food and great service. Carrie (sp?) was our bartender and she was amazing, takes pride in every single drink she makes, every one was perfect! You can tell she truly loves her job. We will definitely be back next time we are in blue ridge.

Valentines day lunch at the General Ledger was a real treat. We ordered the Cast Iron Cornbread as an appetizer. It was delicious. They had quite a few lunch specials. We chose the Steak sandwich. Thought it was a little pricey for a sandwich. After tasting it I understood. The steak was real steak and it melted into your mouth. The seasoning on the fries was delicious also. Really, really enjoyed it. Great Military discounts vets. Make sure to check them out!

This place is awesome! All of the cocktails are really good - highly recommend the sangria (red & white) and the blackberry old fashioned. Our group ordered the corn bread and the crab fritters to start. Both appetizers were excellent. Everyone really enjoyed their entrees. The pork chop is hands down the best pork chop I’ve ever tried. I also highly recommend the trout and the fried chicken paillard! We will definitely be back next time we visit Blue Ridge.

Wow, wow, wow!!! Incredible bar selection, especially the whiskeys. The drinks, top notch. Our server Audrey, words can't describe her amazingness. We weren't even supposed to be here tonight, but the owners of the Airbnb we were supposed to stay in canceled because they're idiots and we ended up here for dinner. Beyond awesome, thank you for a fantastic start to our trip. Plus, this is our first time in Blue Ridge and it's better because of you!

The food was phenomenal!!!! My son got a kids burger and we all tasted it and thought it was the best burger we’ve ever had. The fried green tomatoes, the clam chowder soup, corn bread and crab fritters were outstanding! The chocolate chip cookie pan was also amazing!!! It is on the pricy side but it’s totally worth it! Our server Kerrie was also exceptional!! Definitely ask for her if you go!

We are here on a Friday night at 7:30pm with Reservations. Attentive service. Extremely loud restaurant though. Two of us ordered the Special of the day which was a Mediterranean style triple tail over angel hair pasta and some broccoli. The broccoli could have been cooked and seasoned a tad more but as a whole the meal was wonderful and the suggested wine pairing was great as well. I would definitely reorder that or try the trout next time as I heave heard that was wonderful! The guys got the Chicken Cordon Blue and enjoyed their meals. We will definitely be going back next time we are in town!

After driving all day and arriving we were bummed that so many places were closed or turned us away without a rsvp —BUT the General Ledger had room and we are thrilled they did! We ordered the rib eye and fried green tomatoes both on the specials—and a side of Mac cheese-EVERYTHING was perfect! The mixed drink cocktails are divine!!! That was one of the best dinners we’ve had out in a long time—and a shout out to our server Jonathan who was and is exceptional! His timing was impeccable and one of the most observant servers we ever have had! An absolute delightful dinner in every way!

The General Ledger was a great experience! It was the location of the first bank in Blue Ridge. The original vault is still there and has a newer vault built around it that is used as a dining area. The food was delicious! Highly recommend the fried green tomatoes and the chicken cordon bleu sandwich.

What a pleasant surprise! The atmosphere and the service were incredible and the food was phenomenal. Everything we ordered was exceptional. They also happened to have live music when we were there - very well done. Wait staff were all super friendly and quick. Highly recommend and we're looking forward to coming back!

Outstanding meal, great service a little loud, but the atmosphere in the old bank is so much fun.
Everything on the menu sounds good! Our party ordered a Caesar Salad, Cordon Bleu and the Fried Eggplant special. All were well prepared, original blend of seasoning and just delicious.
One of favorites in BR.
