Excellent place for all agars and family to hike to my 78 years old parents hiked it with their walking sticks and it was a challenge but not impossible....the first section was the most difficult for them but we took our time and enjoyed the views and conversation along this short hike to the falls. It was moderate to difficult in places at their age. However, anyone under the age of 65 and in decent health this hike is medium to low in difficulty with great payoff on waterfall views for pics and summer time cool down spot. We loved it and saw lots of families with dogs enjoying it as well.

We did this hike of a morning! There are a lot of roots and it’s steep in the way up but the way back is nice and easy! Not a bad hike at all! Definitely would recommend it!

This hike is a pretty steep incline for the majority of the way to the waterfall. It's a rough path with many tree roots that can both help or hurt your footing, depending on how you use them and how much you pay attention! I saw a couple of kids fall pretty bad tripping over the roots on the path.

It's a gorgeous hike, not very far, about 1/3 mile to the falls, but you'll definitely feel the burn in your lungs and legs on the way up. The way back down is much easier and enjoyable.

The actual waterfall viewing area is pretty small and can get crowded quickly.

The path is dog friendly as well. Many sweet pups were making the trek, leashed of course.

Make sure you download an offline map as cell service doesn't work well, sometimes not at all, up there. So when we left, we couldn't get the GPS back up and running for awhile.

Overall I loved it, it was so much fun and beautiful.

It was a nice hike, love any and all things dealing with waterfalls, ocean, etc. I expected a bit more, but all the same, it was a beautiful area. You could see dome shaped Airbnb places on hillside; very nice

Fantastic waterfall, hiking was not difficult but stay on the trail. A few places that look like shortcuts but not recommended. Can climb to the top of the waterfall as well but very slippery. The drive to the waterfall includes driving through two small river beds.

Nice 1/2 mile walk to see a pretty waterfall. My 2 younger children were able to navigate the trails easily.

The drive up is on a gravel country road. It's beautiful. The hike to the falls was short but crowded at the time I visited during the spring.

I enjoyed the short hike with beautiful views at the end. The trail is mostly an uphill 1/2 mile hike but fairly easy. I got there early and enjoyed the falls all to myself.

Nice place to go if you visit Blue Ridge, GA. It's about a half a mile hike with uphill and downhill areas to get to a waterfall that is quite beautiful. Quite scenic as well. They have a small area where you can go into the water. We went on a weekend, and if you go earlier rather than later, it's not as busy. The place is kid friendly and you are also allowed to bring dogs. There is also glamping by this Fall Branch falls, and you can see that in the pictures attached.

Fall branch falls was a pretty popular short hike. Its about 3.5 mikes in on a gravel road. The hike to the falls is about half a mile but it is a decent incline. Footing is good, but its a dirt trail with roots and rocks. Lots of dogs along the way. The falls are nice with a small overlook and photo spot. The trail does continue beyond the falls but it seems few people go further. It was a short enjoyable hike and we wish we had time to keep going along. Parking was mostly off to the side of the road.

Very relaxing. The hike to the waterfall from parking is .5 of a mile. The hike to the summit however was 4+ hours. Carry snacks, water, good energy, a blanket if you want to picnic, and a charged phone. Enjoy the hike and views. Have a great hike.

The parking is limited and some of it is a very muddy and unusable. If you come from ellijay gps will take up about 3.5 miles of dirt/gravel road. If you come from blue ridge it’s a much more paved drive. This hike is strenuous. Steep accent and lots odd roots, but only about a half mile. There is only one bench to stop and rest at all the way to the falls. It was quite popular/busy and several times had to stop to wait for another group to pass because the path is narrow in several spots. The falls were very crowded by noon. One side of the falls has signs for no trespassing everywhere as it belongs to the glamping sites so the available space is limited. You can get about ankle deep in the water but it’s quite cold. If you’re extra adventurous you can climb to the top of the fall but there is no marked trail from the starting point for this. Just more of a trail made from people grabbing trees and roots to get up there. My kids really enjoyed it but it’s the most crowded place I’ve been to so far as it’s the closest fall to blue ridge. Went on a Thursday around 10am.

I had an amazing day at this falls!! We followed Google maps directions all the way to the trail head. I did lose gps while we hiked. My estimation of the trail leading to the higher falls area was 0.75 miles, it is roughly 0.6 miles to the observation deck at the bottom of the falls hiking from the trail head to this great picture spot. There are 3 benches along the way. The bench #1 and #2 are very close in the beginning half of the trail area and #3 seemed about half way to the falls. The trail is uphill most of the way with some spots that level off there are a lot of roots, rocks and stumps to keep an eye out for while hiking. Toward the end there are a few stairs right before you turn to go to the observation deck/great photo spot. Lots of cool mushrooms along the way. The wet rocks are very slick, be very careful crossing the water. They are building yurts on the opposite side of the falls This could be a cool addition for travelers to rent and hang out. The water was very cold but felt great after the hike. We wore bathing suits and splashed around in the water!! There are about 3 areas where one can get into the water and take great pics!!

Easy half mile hike to the falls. We must have gotten there early because we were the only ones when we started, which made me a little nervous. But by the time we reached the falls, several more parties were on the trail. Bring water shoes! Those rocks are slippery. :)

Easy path to walk on, but does get a little muddy. Beautiful nature hike to see sit at the top of the falls!

This is a fairly easy short half mile to mile hike to the falls. It does climb some so be aware of this. Really beautiful and great spot for pictures. Pretty busy area even on a Tuesday so not the best place to plan a hike up and then try to find a spot to snack or eat.
You could include this hike with the Toccoa River Swinging Bridge - do them on the same day and get a decent hike in.

Nice hike up into the hills to get a breathtaking view of the falls. The hike is moderate with a few challenging areas. The drive in is dirt road with some very narrow areas so be cautious. Decent parking if it's not too busy. Definitely worth the hike.
