When my dad passed away, I truly didn't know what it was going to take to make the arrangements. I spoke with with several funeral homes for information, but when I spoke to JP at Heritage funeral home he was so kind and understanding with letting me know they would take care of everything for my family.. I went in and he helped me through it all...at the funeral the employees that came and brought my dad and set it up was amazing! I can't say enough for all the kindness they showed us through this hard time.. it was a wonderful experience for my family and friends as they all commented on how well it went... Thank you..

The staff was so respectful of John and my wishes. It was a nice touch that they covered John with an American Flag when they came to pick him up since he was a veteran. Wow, I can't say enough about Heritage Funeral Home. I went to Heritage to prepay for my father's services. I met with John Webb, (Not the spider!) He was great and went over everything with me down to the smallest details. I had questions and he was spot on for my answers. Little did I know my dad passed away a week or so later. I kept my dad at home to be with his family and hospice came in every few days. When my dad passed Heritage came to pick him up. They were very respectful of our loss. John Parrott was one of the gentlemen who helped with my dad. He seen my dad's Vietnam hat and asked if my dad was a Veteran? I said yes, my dad had did three tours of Vietnam and two tours of Germany. He lived his life with dignity and pride of fighting for his country. John said, "Your father will go out with full honors." I wasn't really sure what that meant, but I soon found out. When they came out with my dad on the gerny, he was draped with an American flag. I kissed my father goodbye for the last time and they took him out of the home. I grabbed my phone and took a picture of the American flag draping over my father. We have a lot of military in our family. They put dad in the back of the hurst and gave him a full military salute and then a quarter salute. (Again me with pictures for my brother's and sister's) From the time John got there until he left with my father, my father was given the respect, honor and dignity he deserved for being a veteran. While John was there, the respect he gave my father was amazing and for those few minutes the pain over just losing my dad subsided. I was in awe of John's treatment in handling my father. He drove off, light's flashing to let it be known he had a veteran in the vehicle. The next day, I seen John Webb and we went over some more details with me and the compassion he gave was very calming. I was extremely happy with the service they gave. My brothers and sisters were very happy with the treatment in the photos I sent them. But, my story isn't over yet. A few weeks later a friend of 20 years passed away. She was taken to Heritage Funeral Home as well. I got permission from her family to get some of her remains to put in a necklace I bought for her. Back at Heritage again, I met with Michelle Daniels, a very kind and caring woman. We talked for a few minutes and I gave her the necklace. I went back a few hours later and Michelle greeted me with a smile and my necklace in her hand. I thanked her for helping me with the necklace and she hugged me. I left and drove home. All the while holding my dear friend in my hand. I cried when i got home, just losing my dad and one of my best friends was PAINFUL. I took the necklace of my dads and of my friend and put them both on. Once they were on I got this feeling of calmness come over me, like they were telling me, "We're ok!!" I still grieve and miss them but THANK YOU is NOT enough to say to all the staff, including the ladies that answered my calls for all that Heritage Funeral Home has done for myself, my family and the family of my dear friend. But please accept my sincere THANKS for all that was done by Heritage Funeral Home.....

Heritage Funeral home is where I recommend going when that time comes. They were compassionate, had lots of options for every level of budget and their professionalism was unmatched. Their service programs they created for us were beautiful, done quickly, the video and picture slide show was top notch. Before my father passed he was so impressed with their staff that he volunteered, conducted and lead many funeral services for them here. And even months after his funeral service they have reached out to personally check on our family during this difficult time for us.

I don’t have any reservations whatsoever suggesting them for helping your family through the difficult time of managing funeral arrangements for a loved one.

My experience with Heritage Funeral Home simply couldn't have been better. Stephanie Underwood was so very compassionate and gracious in helping me handle my sister's case even with it being a bit unusual per my sister's request. Ms. Underwood helped to insure my sister's wishes were followed to a "t" perfectly. The entire staff that I had the pleasure of talking to and dealing with were tremendously pleasant and helped me at such a difficult time. Ashley even followed up to check on me. I highly recommend their services.

Heritage Funeral Home was the right choice for us. I am not from Panama City, but that is where we ended up when my father passed. They are very professional and compassionate. My father was cremated and they handled everything and made the process very easy. They kept us informed or what was going on and even followed up months later to check in on us. I honestly can't put it into words how wonderful the staff is here. They are so very caring and supportive. Every employee treated us like family and went way above and beyond for us. Not to mention the very beautiful and clean facility. The Osborne family will be forever grateful to each of you. To say that having to bury 2 family members within 3 months time was hard would be an understatement. As hard as it was, Heritage made everything flow so smoothly. You can truly see the love of God shining through their hearts and smiles.

My sister lived in Panama City Florida and I live in Texas. Heritage Funeral Home helped me so much in making plans for my sister, before anything happened to her. She was mentally handicapped and I was the one to make these arrangements. They knew everything I needed for pre planning. I had never done anything like this, and I was alone. They walked me thru it very kindly and where I was able to understand everything, and they made me feel like I was not alone. They never tried to push sale anything on me. I never felt pressured. When the time came, June 7, 2023, they were there for me. They let me cry when I needed to and then continue on with papers I needed to sign. Everyone was very caring and comforting. After everything was finished and I was home, about 6 weeks later they sent me a text to see how I was doing. That made me feel special, and yes, I cried! I would use Heritage again for my sister or anyone, I was making plans for, from that area.

Heritage Funeral Home is without a doubt the best thing I have ever endured! Me and the wife discussed heritage back in 2007 when she was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s!When we moved to Pcb fl in 2015 I went ahead and paid for it.Not knowing at time hurricane Michael would wipe out the home she was in.They transferred her to Sarasota Fl where she lived another 5 years.Not a problem they picked my
Wife and did the creamation and mailed her ashes to North Carolina for the Celabration of life best company ever God Bless them all Mr Lemken
