Fry's Spring Station

I’ve picked up pizza and salad here after work 3 times, it’s always perfect. Thin crispy and flavorful. Staff answering phone are always friendly. My order is usually ready in 10 min.

We hosted a welcome dinner for guests arriving for our daughter's wedding at Boars Head Resort the next day. It was the perfect location for our group of almost 200 friends and family from near and far. We took over the entire Fry Spring Station for the evening. The general manager, Victoria and the entire staff was wonderful to work with in advance. The food was plentiful and excellent, the bar provided everything we requested and the ambiance was perfect for roasts and toasts. Thank you!

I love that we have this spot is in our neighborhood! The miso salmon appetizer and feta-garlic shrimp were delicious! The Just Trust Us pizza is also one of our favorite options. The staff is super friendly too! Programming and sports is also great at this spot with trivia, bachata dancing, etc,...for such a great space!

Friendly service and tasty food. We ordered a dish of chicken wings and a pizza. The wings come with barbecue sauce and scallion, delicious. The pizza was the Funghitown, delicious.
Nachos are awesome!! They have a wide choice of local and international drinks.
We really enjoyed having dinner on the terrace.
We'll return without a doubt.

Here is my honest local guide review. Fry Spring’s Station is one of our go-to pizza places in Charlottesville. They have a great patio for almost year round outdoor dining. We tend to get take out more in the winter. Our favorites are the NORTH OF THE BORDER (Bacon, Red Onion, Jalapeno, Cheddar, Tomato Avocado Salad, House Cheese Blend, White Sauce) although no bacon for us since we are vegetarian, and the VICTORY GARDEN (Olives, Mushroom, Broccolini, Tomato, Red Onion, House Cheese Blend). However this time I mixed it up and got a MARGHERITA (Mozzarella, Crushed Tomato, Basil). The Margherita was a little light on the sauce and basil. We consistently get good pizza with a nice buttery crispy crust. We haven’t had any issues except they left the bacon on once. 🤮

Wonderful service! Everyone was so friendly and the food is delicious. Mules are served in the proper cups. The restaurant itself is really cool to look at and be inside. 3 spots for parking from what I saw but there's possibly more that I couldn't see. Definitely worth it!

We love Fry's Spring, great food and such fun vibes! We recently hosted a welcome party for our wedding here for around 150 people, such an amazing experience! It's an incredible space and the food was so so good! Especially loved the sliders, the "Just Trust Us" pizza, and the milkshakes! The service was great, and Victoria was so awesome helping us coordinate this event! Can't wait to come back for a local beer and lots more pizza soon!

Happy that Fry's Spring decided to participate in Cville's Burger Week. This was a fantastic meal for $8.00 ($6 burger special and $2 fries). The burger was their smash burger with American cheese, shredded lettuce, cherry pepper mayo, and pickles. I added a Grapefruit Get Bent IPA from Parkway Brewing for good measure. We dined on the patio and enjoyed a beautiful Saturday afternoon. It's been a couple years since we last visited and we are looking forward to going back.

Exceptional service! I work in customer service and theirs was too tier. We came with a large group of 11 for a wedding party very last minute and they treated us like VIPs. The food was absolutely delicious, came out hot and in a timely manner. Couldn’t recommend this beautiful restaurant more!

This place had really good food and the staff was nice. We split a few things, the just trust us pizza, a ceasar salad, and a mushroom and broccolini calzone. Everything was delicious and their happy hour prices were great. Also they have a real covered patio so we were able to eat outside in the rain which was nice.

Wonderful for lunch! There is plenty of outdoor seating they open up on nice days, with a busy urban vibe during the day. Lunch for two was about $25 without drinks. Their menu had a good selection of pizza, salads, and some other dishes. I'm not doing the menu justice: my wife and I both want to go back to try other things, and both of us enjoyed our lunch the day we went. The building is interesting, too... it is a 1930' gas station that has been restored and transformed into a very pleasant place for a relaxed meal.

Absolutely a must-try when visiting Charlottesville. They have a good beer selection, but the pizza is where it’s all at. I got the “Victory Garden” and would say it’s one of my top favorite pizzas. And the customer service was nothing less than perfect. I will definitely be going again next time I visit.

Great atmosphere and outdoor seating. Pizza with the ingredients you select of all types. If there is an open parking spot then if you can back in you will have an easier time leaving but there are only a couple spots as this is near campus.

Hip little place and good craft food. Tons of atmosphere and good service. The salad and personal sized pizza were excellent.

The food and service were excellent. We had apps, pizza and sandwiches and they were all great.

Margarita Pizza was fabulous. Awesome service. We enjoyed eating outside on the patio. We also had a coffee milkshake for dessert and it was extremely good. We definitely return!!

My (now) husband and I celebrated our rehearsal dinner last weekend at Fry's Spring Station! This is not Fry's Spring's typical evening event, but from the jump Victoria and her staff were so open to helping us create an evening to remember! The food was delicious (as always), and our family and friends gushed about the wings all night. Also, they happily accommodated my dietary restrictions (and their gluten-free pizza is great!). Victoria worked with us and helped us develop, and then execute, a vision for the space, and the vibes were awesome!! And, the weather happened to be amazing. 10/10 would recommend for any event needs, and, of course, for any meal!

Delicious pizza! The piggie smalls and the mushroom pizza are great, especially the white pizza mushroom. Ate outside and great beer and service.

I came into Fry’s and my milkshake was lowkey really great. I’m not from Cville and everyone was really nice and my food was a solid 9.5. I got a kiss sandwich. 😘

This is a pretty special neighborhood joint. The food is reliably delicious and pretty, the beer selection and cocktails are impressive, and the servers are super welcoming and kind. All around, really makes for a great experience. Heaps of outdoor dining, so it's well suited to the present era! Not to mention, the conversion from the gas station to restaurant is such a marvelous way to repurpose space. Well done - thanks for a great night out.
