Great bartenders since the 90s. Never disappoints. Loved the band and the upstairs section.

A superb experience dining here. The food is incredibly good for the price! I got the Nashville chicken tenders and let me tell you, be ready for the heat! It sneaks up on you. The first couple tenders are hot but by the time you’re done you’re drying and dabbing your eyes. The fries are awesome! My wife got the lobster bisk and she enjoyed it. Highly recommend the Devils Backbone Vienna Lager!

Wife had the fried green tomato salad and I had the French toast breakfast with bacon potatoes and fruit, we finished with a huge slice of key lime pie. We loved this place. The food and staff were great. Definitely a cool place to visit especially if you love Dave Matthews band.

The wings and fries were so good ‼ will definitely be retuning . Perfect for a late night meal 🍽

Fabulous burgers.. try the Miller double double (double meat and cheese). The Rueben is on the menu because Dave Matthews pestered them… He also got his start here. Great beer selection and atmosphere is everything.. and their fries being crunchy makes me love this place too.. i’ll be back often!❤

The pretzel bites are SO GOOD. The servers are friendly and quick. Fair warning - It can get a bit loud and crowded, but it’s a smaller restaurant so it’s to be expected.

Solid food options in the heart of downtown Charlottesville mall area. Outside seating puts you just about in the middle of the mall area. Good variety of food options. Very good beer selection. Great friendly service and reasonable prices.

Had the blue motorcycle, less alcohol than the AMF but still good. The bar upstairs has a better environment but is smoking friendly, unfortunately

Had an excellent dinner (the Nasty Chicken Biscuit was amazing) and then after our show we stopped back by for dessert (the PB&J waffle was perfection). I imagine the restaurant/bar area get really loud at night, but the seats outside were very pleasant.

THE best lobster bisque!! I could have ten bowls and I consider myself fairly broadly experienced as I adore bisque! Great chunks of lobster, prices are SUPER reasonable and service is extremely welcoming. We had a quick meeting in town but this was a highlight meal of our whole trip.

Laid back atmosphere, had great service from bartender Isaac. Will be back

Saturday evening dinner outside was great. Loved our waitress Anna! Great prices and great seating. Food was delish and well priced. Definitely coming back again.

Great food and atmosphere! Me and two friends all enjoyed our food. I had the jambalaya and it was tasty and came with a great side salad. My phone ran out of battery before I could take any pictures of the food, but it was delicious.

3rd floor was awesome. Great bartenders and music. My daughter and I had a blast!

Live music. Good selection of beers. Pub good tasted great.

The rosey negroni was amazing! The bartender Rownan is also the best!

Best nachos and Waldorf salad I've ever tasted!!! I'm from PA and was visiting friends in C-Ville this past week. All I can say is I wish I lived closer. I'd definitely be a regular!

Just popped in for their happy hour $1 oyster special. The oysters were good and the other appetizer that we got was also good.

Used to visit this joint weekly whilst studying at UVA. An institution for all musicians and jazz lovers and birthplace of the Dave Mathews Band. Pictured is John D'Earth a local legend and big drawcard to the venue. Definitely try to visit when he's playing. The restaurant has a great cocktail menu and quite a few menu items. The chicken and waffle was delicious if memory serves me correctly. Seating is a little limited, but small price to pay for delicious food, drinks and music.

Boy do I miss this place!
