Transported to France in the heart of Virginia! This restaurant in Charlottesville offers a genuine taste of France with its exceptional cuisine and charming ambiance. The foie gras, duck breast, and apple tart were nothing short of spectacular—each dish exuded authentic French flavors and finesse. The service was impeccable, elevating the entire dining experience, while the romantic and cozy atmosphere added an extra layer of charm. Made reservations for my husband’s birthday. We arrived a few minutes early and they had our table ready. They took our jackets, we got seated and started on of the greatest dining experiences we’ve had in a very long time. Drinks - excellent. (If you like old fashioneds, get the old fashioned!) Food - incredible. Seems you truly cant go wrong with any choice you make! And the canapés in between courses were a welcomed addition. Service - incredibly attentive. The bill wasnt cheap, but you absolutely get what you pay for!! Highly, highly recommend.

We had an amazing anniversary dinner here. The canapés, amuses bouches, three courses...everything was top notch. We were impressed by our server, Ellie. She was knowledgeable, helpful where our knowledge of French cuisine or beverages lacked, friendly, and professional. Her fellow servers were also attentive, ready to refill a glass or remove an empty plate at a moment's notice.

I had the foie gras, filet mignon, and apple tart. It's hard to pick a favorite course. Even the sides were amazing in and of themselves. (The mushrooms with my main course...perfection)

This was a perfect anniversary dinner. Thank you to Fleurie for providing an unforgettable evening that I hope to relive very soon.

They really think through every detail, making it an incredible experience! The food was perfect and just kept coming and the staff is incredibly sensitive to allergies. Worth every penny!

Price fixe menu included many free "tastes" between courses. Every thing we ordered was fantastic. The wait staff was friendly and attentive offering elegant service (new silverware was delivered for every course). Each course delivered with perfect timing. Wine pairing suggestions were on the mark.

This was a fun experience. I don’t understand the people who say absolutely everything about as fantastic — some of the flavors are so unusual that some people aren’t going to love absolutely everything. The canapé samples between dishes were interesting and ensured you will leave full.

I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. No restaurant I've been to in a 75 mile radius of the Richmond area achieves haute cuisine at a higher level. Not just the food but the service. I started off with a Hungarian gimlet. They were attentive and professional regarding bringing my first course to the table after I had finished my cocktail. Many supposed high-class restaurants don't understand the concept of pace. Classy touch to offer two additional surprise courses at no extra charge. The canapes and asparagus with hollandaise were phenomenal. Incredible red grape champagne with the oysters and caviar. The poached Lobster was prepared perfectly. The white burgundy was the best French Blanc I've ever had. Really interesting interpretation of lemon cheesecake. The coffee was hot and strong. Make a plan to dine here at your first convenience. You won't regret it.

If I could give them six stars I would! The best meal I've had in a very long time. We went for my in-laws 50th wedding anniversary, and it did not disappoint! They created a customised menu for us, it was absolutely spectacular, as was the food, the wine, the atmosphere, and the service. Could not give a higher recommendation!

Eating at Fleurie was more than just getting a meal, it was an experience. My husband and I came here when we went on a weekend trip to Charlottesville to celebrate our recent nuptials, and it did not disappoint!

We knew that it was a prix fixe menu, but were delighted to find out that they also brought canapes in between courses. I'm not well-versed in French cuisine, but coming here has made me eager to expand my horizons.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed everything we ate here and recommend coming here for a special occasion, or when you just feel like treating yourself.

My husband surprised me and made reservations for our anniversary here and everything was heaven sent! I did the wine pairing which was a fun way to explore the food. The complimentary appetizer was delicious! We also got a surprise soup and mini dessert for our anniversary which was so thoughtful! My husband is still raving about the lobster sauce and I was very happy with my tenderloins. Romantic and quaint spot! We will definitely be back :)

We come every year to celebrate our anniversary and we wouldn’t have it any other way. It is the place to go in Charlottesville to celebrate the best of times. The sommeliers are fantastic and clearly knowledgeable, the food is smart and well executed, and it is generally a pleasant, comfortable way to spend the evening. We look forward to coming back every time. Thank you, Fleurie!

A wonderful experience at Fleurie! The atmosphere is beautiful and the staff is incredibly attentive and educated about their offerings. The attention to detail is astounding, the courses are served with wonderful timing.
The chef started out with sending out these beautiful little nibbles. We choose the seared sea scallops and the sunchoke and mushroom cassoulet. I will forever refer to the sunchoke cassoulet as the 'Pot of Yum'. Have you ever had anything so amazing, that on the first bite you close your eyes and your sensory nerves scream "yum"? Tonight, this happened for me. That cassoulet could cause world peace.
For our entree, we had the Chilean sea bass and the vension loin. The tangy cabbage with the tender venison was an amazing pairing. The crispness on the sea bass and the incredible sauce.... there aren't enough ​words.
For dessert we had the apple tart and lemon cheesecake. The tart was incredibly thin and light but packed with delicate but enormous flavour while the lemon cheesecake was utterly decadent. To top it off, they sent out a plate of petit fours.
Tonight was our 2 year anniversary and I'm so glad we were able to have a table at the incredible Fleurie.

I came here on Thursday and we had a wonderful time. Our server, Ellie, was so thoroughly knowledgeable with the menu and their wines, she was able to immediately and accurately recommend perfect wines with each of our courses.
I have lived in Charlottesville my whole life, and Chef Jose has always provided a wonderful experience with food. He paints an incredible, deep, and vibrant picture with everything he serves. Truly a wonderful experience.

Amazing experience, and the best dinner I have had in Charlottesville since Prime109. The food is stunningly good, and the service could not be better. Hat off to the manager, who really went above and beyond to make sure our experience was perfect.

So much food. Small servings but definitely fills you up. It just kept coming. Amuse Bouche had multiple things on it and was amazing. Chef sent out multiple “sample plates” for free.

Not often do I spend $400 for dinner and leave thinking, “wow, that was a really good deal” but that happened last night at Fleurie.
If you go, you have to get Beef Carpaccio, it was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. Everything was good, the only thing I would skip was the Crème Brûlée, it wasn’t very creamy or flavorful, instead it was more of an eggy custard.
Bathroom mirrors were a great place to take a quick selfie.
My only recommendation…offer a more vast beer selection.

My husband and I got lucky to have dinner at Fleurie as a reservation got cancelled and we were able to get a table. What an amazing experience holistically! From the welcome platter to the house-made bread to the appetizers followed by the main course that looked like a piece of art and tasted beyond any description topped off with apple crumble with homemade ice cream and another platter of deserts!!! Setting and ambience were equally enjoyable. Service surpassed our expectations as all of the wait staff worked as a team and were top notch professional, attentive and polite! We are not from Charlottesville but will for sure make a reservation and visit Fleurie next time we are here as it is truly a treat! Thank you to all who made such a wonderful dinner experience happen!

We decided have our date night at Fleurie and we could not have been more pleased with the atmosphere, service, food, and the knowledge of our server in helping me to choose a wine for the night. The food was indescribable, melt in your mouth delicious and we will certainly be visiting this place next time we are in town.

What an awesome hidden Gem! This French restaurant was incredible. The service was superb! The food was amazingly delicious! The Champagne choice was perfect! The atmosphere was beautiful. My husband and I were visiting Charlottesville for the evening and this place just added to a wonderful night! I would highly recommend if your in the area. It’s just off the Downtown Mall area. You can walk from your hotel. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Excellent!

Exceptional. The wife and I celebrated 14 years here. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable. The food was fantastic. Worth every penny.
