Plantation Peanuts

I mean I hate peanuts lol… but I came here for the strawberry jalapeño jam and they were sold out so got apple pie and cranberry chili and those were both good!

Stopped in this little store August 2022 on way back from Virginia Beach & saw the signs for buying fresh, local grown peanuts & decided to stop in. The 1st thing I noticed was peanut field's on both sides of the road as far as I could see. Upon entering the place, it has a "country-charm"feel. Very clean. The lady working. She was helpful. Almost Any type of fresh sweets with peanuts is here. I bought homemade Peanut Brittle. Amazing crunchy taste! Also, treats & sweets without peanuts too. There's such a large variety to choose from. I would definitely recommend stopping by. It's awesome & I left with a smile. Lol. Thanks Plantation Peanuts!

These are the best roasted, salted, in shell peanuts. They are by far, much better than any of the big name garbage peanuts sold in the supermarkets and big box stores. I found them in a farmer's market and have now started to order them online.

Aye! They got peanuts, almonds, cashews, jams, ornaments, cured ham, soda, and friendliness. Tried some samples and I gotta say, chocky cashews and black truffle and Mardi Gras are easily 10/10. Chefs kiss. Poggers. Also my wife (unaffiliated but just a wholesome person) told me to write a review. GG.

Always a favorite for peanut samples and getting a bag or two to bring home. They also have an adorable peanut Christmas tree ornament!

Atmosphere is down south county home vibe. Always clean and inviting. The shelves are always well stocked with our favorite goodies to come home with. This is always our last stop coming home from the beach. The prices are always reasonable too. The staff is always kind and courteous. Tray are also ready to answer any questions and give recommendations.

Cool store to hit on the way back from Back Shore to Richmond. A great selection of peanuts and other local gifts!

There are several peanut farms in Wakefield, but I'm writing this because Plantation is the one to choose. We have stopped at the retail store on the way back from NC every year for a long time. I also have done sizable joint internet orders with co-workers. Not only are their actual nuts a superior product, but their variety is the best around by a mile. Their spiced nuts are done properly with fine granularity they doesn't just settle at the bottom of the can. Staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. Support your local businesses, and if you're in the area, definitely swing by and spend some money -- any true nut fan will NOT regret it, I promise.

Well I was driving down 460 and I discovered this place Believe it's in Sussex County. So I stopped in and they have a huge variety of different flavored peanuts,almonds and other nuts. Sure glad I stopped in their the customer service was absolutely amazing. Very friendly people. So I made a purchase and I tried the dill flavored. I'm telling you if you want some good peanuts you need to stop at this place because they have the best peanuts I have ever tasted. So that ends my review. Ya"ll have a wonderful day

We always make a point to stop here when we can! We LOVE the free samples and they offer military discount! The staff is so friendly and the peanuts are so delicious! I really like the Butter toasted, jalapeno, and dill pickle flavors - but the chocolate covered peanuts area something else!!!

A long time favorite for peanuts and gifts. Huge variety, exceptional service and an old time atmosphere. It's a fabulous stop on the 460 trail.
