The park itself is unique and if you like that type of climate more power to ya!

The visitor center was nice with many options for different products. The park ranger was informative and helpful with our needs in our trip.

They do have a water station and public bathrooms. Both were well managed and clean.

There is a little museum inside the visitor center if you want to know more.

The park itself you can do small hikes but be warned to make sure to bring plenty of water and stay on the trails. It gets very hot and very dry.

Overall beautiful views of the Saguaro 🌵 and multiple options to drive and hike or just drive around and take photos. This is often used for bikers so be careful while driving around.

Such a cool place!!! Make sure you stick around for sunset before exiting the park. We did the 8 mile driving loop and it was perfect. Lots of places to stop off and admire the magnificent park. Nice picnic area that has shade and restrooms.

Beautiful national Park! The Three heights we did were absolutely awesome! Bring lots of water! Many trails to explore this park. There is a east and west side of this park on both sides of Tucson! Definitely worth the visit!

This park has a ton of walking trails. If you enjoy the desert climate, wildlife and cactus you'll enjoy this place. Driving the loop you get plenty of opportunities to see the random rattlesnake, especially first thing in the morning, or around sunset.

We love this park it was great to go walk through the ecology area and see the many different species of cactus especially during the Spring here when they're blooming very peaceful and quiet you can hear the insects flying is that quiet both of the parks sending drives are great for those that just want to take it easy drive through but you get access for I think it's 3 days with your pay pass so 25 bucks is not bad you can have a pullover have a picnic totally recommend this area

Wow, what a beautiful drive 🚗 I know many people only have a short period of time to spend in the park but I highly recommend, drive slowly 🐌, you can see so much, and let your imagination run while looking at the cacti. Not only are these cacti majestic but they can also be funny.

Truly a unique place. You see cacti everywhere and then you go here and they are endless. Excellent sunset views.

Not very busy for a National Park and easy to get to and get through.

You only need a couple hours unless doing some serious hiking.

We were there on February 27. 2024. We did Saguaro (west) first taking the trolley then walking back. Very beautiful. Pictures often do not do a place justice. Then we drove the loop on Saguaro East. Another beautiful scenic area. Both are are a must to see.

We have a senior pass so the cost was already covered. Tour is self-guided and in a car. (We saw bikers but they were there to bike, not tour. Interesting, great vistas and views, and comfortable as it was not crowded. Amazing saguaro and other displays to see around the gift shop. Well worth the time.

This place was amazing. It has been on my bucket list for years. My granny went here and had a picture and I always said I wanted to see them giants. So 50 years to the day she was there I was there. Just beautiful

Always awesome to excerise on the 8 mile paved loop. Well maintained and views are exquisite. It's busy this time of year with tourists but I love to ride my bike here often. Wildflowers in bloom after all the rain.

Landscape was breathtaking. We enjoyed the audio driving tour of the west side near Rincon Mountain. We downloaded the Saguaro National Park Guide app for the audio tour, very informative. We also hiked a couple of trails. So much to explore. Many varieties of cacti, trees and native plants.

Beautiful park with tons of great scenery. The Saguaro cacti really steal the show. They're so fun and pretty. We loved the little cactus tour at the visitor's center. There were good scenic drives on either side of the park. Both worth checking out

I've lived in Arizona since 1982 but just discovered this gem and the Gilbert Ray Campground next to it. I gave up trying to cut down the amount of photos. Peruse as you will. A very nice hike through wildflowers and dramatic rain clouds in March. A simple and not over-started National Park!

Loved it, as always. God's creation wins!!! We visited both sides, west side roads are not paved. East side of Tucson is a must if you look for an easy drive.

On the surface, it just seems like a bunch of Cactus plants. If you only have time for the eight mile drive, that alone is worth the entrance fee of $25. If you get out of your car, there is so much more to see and do. Short loop hikes abound. As always, bring a real camera.

One of the most beautiful nature experiences you will ever have! The visitor center is wonderful. They have interactive experiences and a theater inside the visitor center. The views are spectacular!! A must when visiting Tucson.

A lovely place to walk around and take in the desert landscape. Excellent hiking trails and nice if you would like to just take a slow drive around.

Amazing national park and saguaro cacti..! If you can only do one half - more cacti and a better visitor center experience on the western half.. but the eastern half drive loop is completely paved. The eastern loop is not paved but passable with any car.

Great park! I thought it was going to be a one hit wonder with just saguaros, but there is a surprising amount of different species of cacti and a massive range in wildlife from black bears, to bobcats, coyotes, javelina, foxes, rabbits, turtles, lizards, snakes, woodpeckers, road runners, and a ton more that you can learn about at either visitor center or on the information displays on any of the trails.

The west side seems to be better with a wider range of trails, larger visitor center, and more historical areas and picnic places. The East side is pretty quiet and flat, but better for biking and casual walking through the desert landscape.

We visited in February, and the weather was perfect. I imagine the summers are brutal.
