I have never had an issue with them for over 10 year on OHP. I am happy with my mouth. They told me they will still take me with my new insurance we shall see!

Very nice and professional. Small clinic as they also share time with the Western Idaho Dental Clinic in Fruitland. They do take Medicaid, and your 1st appointment will be to establish care. You will set a return appointment for cleaning and any other work you need. They are right across the street from an orthodontist as well. If you can't reach them, note the hours they are open/closed and try calling the Fruitland location. The Dentist was very kind and personable, and the receptionist and assistants were organized, kind and knowledgeable. We got in to establish care the very next day from when we called, and we got cleanings set up within a week.

I had to have a molar pulled today and I was terrified. Everyone, from the front desk ladies to the dentist and his assistant, was kind and informative. I struggle with mental health and haven’t always taken the best care of my teeth and I was treated with respect and didn’t once feel judged. These folks are wonderful. No pain, no problem. I will absolutely be back and can only wish other clinics were this great.

I they are so nice here. I had to have some pretty extensive work done and I'm not at all comfortable with my mouth being messed with but the staff and dentist were wonderful.

Don't have an emergency on the days they're closed. Western Idaho, also closed. That's where OHP allows; call the emergency number (Advantage dental) and the on call dentist was rude and actually hung up on me after telling me he didn't know went we don't just walk in to an advantage office.
Advantage was rude and we won't ever call them again.
Eastern Oregon dental staff has always been friendly to us, just don't miss an appt cuz you'll have to find a new dentist.

Live in Ontario have ohp but they have to schedule everything in fruitland. Very inconvenient. Also have trouble reaching them on the phone to even get an appointment.

This dental office is refusing to help a woman that is eight months pregnant who missed an appointment five years ago and because she’s on Oregon medical she’s having trouble finding another office that will help her because she was already affiliated with this office. The manager said she chooses not to allow her to get treatment because it’s their policy. And then hung up on me when I asked what kind of business doesn’t help a person that is in pain and needs help (especially because she’s pregnant) and they have the choice of making the right decision and decide not to out of spite. This is so wrong on so many levels!!!

This place has chosen to refuse service to a women who is 8 months pregnant and has severe tooth pain and can't eat. The manager said they closed her account because she missed appointments 5 years ago. The manager chose to not help her because of this. After asking how they can not help a pregnant women who is in pain who is in sever pain the manager just hung up on us. If there was an option to rate this place at 0 stars I would but I have to select at least one star

Don't come to this clinic

I went to this dental clinic because it was under my insurance umbrella and close to my home. I had just gotten insurance after not having it since I was a young child. The doc said I had 4 cavities - 2 smaller ones and 2 sorta larger ones. I agreed that would make sense, I hadn't been to a dentist for probably 12-13 years.

6 months later, when I came back for my next cleaning the dentist said I had another 3 cavities, I was so surprised. I don't pretend to know anything about dentistry so I trusted him. We filled those too.

When I came back for my next cleaning he said I had three more cavities... I called it, and went to another dental office. I paid out of pocket because I had just been to the dentist for a check-up and my insurance wants you to wait 6 months before the next screening, but it was worth the money. The dentist I went to hadn't found a single cavity. Not a one.

I probably had quite a few unnecessary fillings done and will have to wear them like this for the rest of my life. That's really frustrating to me.

So, a long story short is: this dental office is working the system. They're creating dental work to claim the insurance money, weighing the odds against us unsuspecting folks who were raised to trust doctors. Please, do yourself a favor and check your insurance and see what doctors are in network and find another in the area.

I had been taking my sons there for years! Not anymore! The woman at the desk told me she had left a message on the day of the appointment informing me that my 13 yr old would not been seen today, that he would have to be seen on an adult day! Needless to say it was not a happy time. She called the cops after I said you will see him anyway, that she had the right to refuse service to anyone. Nice!

Update 2020: I stand firm behind this review! I did end up paying our local dentist out of pocket. I hope the dentist reads this review and realizes that just because I have OHP doesn't mean that I'm a "less than" citizen & I deserve respect and eye contact, just like your private health care patients across the street. Shame on you!
Waited 6 weeks for an Appointment. The building and equipment were antiquated. The hygienist was so sweet but the dentist...not so much. He seemed rushed, his personality was cold, he wouldn't make eye contact and he treated me like low class just because I have OHP. Needless to say I will be paying another dentist out of pocket to get some work done. I wouldn't let that man work on my mouth even though it is free.
