Best Homemade Amish Baked Goods. And friendly staff.

Quite possibly the best homemade ham/pepper jack/garden fresh tomatoes w/spicy mustard on freshly baked bread sandwich you will ever have. Full general store for soft drinks, bulk candies for the kids and maybe a hand carved birdhouse for that hard to buy for uncle. Cash/Check only, no plastic accepted. More than fair prices. Bonus points if you speak Dutch. Overall, lovely people to chat with during your visit. Great place to bicycle around. Drive slowly, and be aware of the horse drawn buggies. SIDENOTE: For you Jeep and adventure bike types, there is a southern exit (road 623), a rough and narrow rocky road, complete with oilpan sheering ruts and tight switchbacks up and down the mountain side. Would not recommend it for the family minivan, but doable if you know what you are doing.

Stop in and support a local business that doesn't jack prices up because it's the only, I mean only place in town. There is a restroom, please be respectful and buy a snack at least. There is a great front porch with plenty of seating to look into the valley.

The ABSOLUTE best sandwich you’ll ever have! The baked goods, bread, doughnuts, cinnamon rolls, etc are all heavenly. I love this store. The beautiful surroundings are just an added bonus.

Ok, this place is seriously out of the way, but I got bread, pastries and snacks made by and sold by real Amish people. Big deal you say? Yes it is I reply. The woman at the register looked like she had just stepped out of one of the Dutch masters paintings. The baked goods were amazing as well.

If you're out touring on your motorcycle, this is a must stop spot through Burke's garden for lunch. The smoked ham bacon and cheese sandwich on sourdough was amazing!

The young ladies that run the store are outstanding and so nice. I grew up with Amish and these girls the best. The doughnuts are hands down the best then add in the whoopie pies and molasses cookies is the greatest. Don't go anywhere else for food just go to the General Store and tell them Jackie the cookie lady sent you. You will not be disappointed.

The Fri evening buffet is a really good, low key, home cooked food, absolutely worth the trip before the Democrats makes gas even more unaffordable!

This is a nice place to visit! The girls working there were really nice and friendly! Will be going again soon!
