Heavenly Inn

We came last minute for new years and booked our room. It was a cool little out of the way inn.

Location was amazing.
Staff are friendly.
It would be nice if the office was open 24 hours a day. I almost locked myself out of my room and couldn't get the door open till my bro showed up and opened it.

This is a nice place to stay. We stayed in the Honeymoon Suite, which happens to be on the third floor. The price was reasonable and the room was fine. We didn’t see the swans when we stayed.
It comes with a full size refrigerator, coffee maker, blender, microwave, real plates and cups, knives, iron, jetted tub, fireplace, and a new rooftop view.
If you are arriving after 10pm, call ahead to let them know.

Tips:
The coffee maker takes about 30 minutes to brew 4 cups so plan accordingly.
Bring a sandal to wear around the room. It will keep your feet clean.

Heavenly Inn is a great deal. The beds and pillows are supple and clean. I was able to walk with white socks in the room and they appeared clean. The rooms I stayed in was furnished with vinyl "wood floors" that allowed proper noise isolation with no creaks. I was not afraid of waking up the downstairs neighbors if I had to get up to use the restroom.

Parking was easy and the lot was salted to prevent slipping in 12 F degree weather.

Only con is that my room has a hairdryer holder on the wall with the hairdryer missing. As a guy it doesn't really matter to me, but it's worth a mention.

It was very nice . It was simple but tastefully furnished. We had a spa in our room . There was a table . There were end tables . There was also a mini refrigerator and a microwave. There was a cubby to put your bags . The towels were soft and plentiful. The bed was firm . The pillows were soft and fluffy.

The place is absolutely stunning! It's in the perfect location - a walking distance to Lake Tahoe and the town center. We had a room with the kitchen and let me tell you, it was beautiful, cozy, and had a very homey feel. The staff was also kind and wonderful! My next stay will definitely be here again! 100% recommend!!!

This is a great hotel for the money. I booked the deluxe 1 bedroom. It comes with a full kitchen. The people who complain about not having a stove booked the wrong room. If you book just a regular room, there is no stove. The bed is comfortable enough, the room is pretty clean, the jacuzzi was also clean and looked well taken care of. Overall, I would definitely book here again.

The management team is very respectful and they do their job. It is in the great location in South lake Tahoe. Walking all over casinos beach you name it. There is so much snow right now it is above your head.

We have been staying here 2-4 weeks every year since 2011. We keep coming back because it is clean, comfortable, affordable, and convenient. There have been minor issues in the past like dirty carpets. But they do have a few pet friendly rooms and since we don't have pets we simply request a room where pets are not allowed. And during a busy winter period the carpets are bound to get tracked in soil. We're just wrapping up a 2 week stay and hope to return summer 2018.

This was my second time staying at this place. The rooms are more on the cozy and comfortable side than luxurious and spacious.
Small, but everything is clean and up to date. The location is fantastic, you can walk everywhere including the beach, Heavenly Village and the casinos.
The staff goes out of their way to make sure you're happy. My mom made me a lasagna that I managed to bring all the way from Ohio. I forgot there are no stoves, but management went out of their way to cook it for me and called me when it was ready, -- something I didn't expect. It's a great bunch of people that take a lot of pride in the place. I absolutely LOVE Lake Tahoe so I will be back for sure, and more than likely I'll stay here again.

Update: stayed again this past weekend. Staff is awesome once again. Special thanks to the kind woman who got us new towels. I'm never sure what to do about service when our dog is with us.

The Heavenly Inn is a very nice place for the money we paid to stay here. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a room with a king size bed and a small kitchenette that included refrigerator, microwave, sink, and dishes as well as a small table with two chairs. The bathroom had a full walk in shower (no tub). Air conditioner and heater in the room. Overall everything was very clean and cozy. The parking lot is pretty small, but was fine for our passenger car. Very short walk to many restaurants and shops.

Great staff, good location. It's definitely not a hotel , it's just an Inn. The rooms are ok, but clean and reason size. Bedding was clean and comfortable. It would be great if they could install EV chargers or some plugs to allow EV owners to slow charge.

For the price - Wood floors, pillowtop queen mattresses with top quality linens and a lovely little granite kitchenette with WORKING coffee maker (really all new appliances). While we didn't get the great view and privacy of a the cabin we stayed at earlier in the week that DIDN'T have a working coffee maker and with trash strewn throughout the yard, for $$345 for 3 nights (with high speed internet), it certainly beat out the $600 we paid for two nights in the depressing-exterior cabin in the high end neighborhood. I'm really surprised this little gem isn't more noticed. While I'll splurge more for accommodations in the woods with a view of the lake if I get a personal recommendation, in the future, if EVER I need a really nice place to stay at a reasonable price, or heaven help me get stuck with a dud cabin rental again - THIS IS MY GO TO. HIGHLY recommend!

What a perfect place to stay if you are visiting lake tahoe. Loved the location, good price,room were clean & staff is very nice. Dont be a picky guest, remember its just to shower sleep and get up for your adventures.

This was our second time staying at Heavenly Inn. The staff is always super friendly and accommodating. The rooms are basic but clean and work for us. It was nice having a full fridge and a microwave in the room. The best part of staying here is the location. It is walking distance to the beach, shops, and restaurants.

Rooms and bathrooms are spacious, clean , and kitchenettes are very well taken care of my favorite was the normal size refrigerator enough space to place all the food we want and of course very nice people and understanding if u have any issues . Will definitely recommend this place and stay here again

We stayed for a week for our honeymoon. It's cute and cozy, and right near Heavenly Village for shopping, coffee and eats. .3 miles to be exact. An easy walk to find lots to do. The staff are helpful, friendly and accommodating. If you want a simple getaway in the heart of South Lake, it's the place to be.
