Hotel Becket South Lake Tahoe

It was a wonderful stay. The staff gave me their full attention when I needed service and let me be when I didn't. They went above and beyond
The free breakfast could use a little pep up, but it was useful. They helped me find discounts on rooms, and also, I was able to do a late check out. If the rooms were a little more put together, it'd be a true 5. The location is walking distance from everything you'll be doing.

Rooms are as expected for the price paid. No microwave. Very small shower, sliding bathroom door which I personally do not like. No privacy no locks. Service for cleaning is good, when you ask supplies at the desk they are also provided. Breakfast is the cheapest as it can get. At times there are none left. At times muffins but is also toooo sweet. At least you can have coffee and milk paired with other microwaveable breakfast. Best thing with the location is that it is close to the resort and the town commercial centers, no need to drive. At least you don't pay 1k per night. Still good if you are on budget.

Room was really nice. Updated, Had a mini fridge, microwave, and little coffee maker. Bed was comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was decent, just get there early. You can walk to the gondola and a ton of restaurants. The only thing this place is missing is a hot tub. Definitely worth the price and convenience.

Charlie at the front desk is fantastic. He's got great taste in music and helped me with suggestions to better enjoy my trip!

I wanted to specifically call out Lupita at the front desk! She’s super helpful and very nice! Made the stay very easy!

Awesome location and the rooms are what you’d expect from Tahoe ski motels.

Staff are amazing, rooms beautiful, location perfect, amenities wonderful, prices great. Glad to have found this gem, of all the places I've stayed during snowboarding season, this is one of my top favorites.

My family stayed here during the summer months. The beds were comfy and the location was super convenient - we could walk to dinner and hear live music every night. It’s not fancy but gets the job done and a good value. We left my daughters bunny and they mailed it to us - so sweet and thoughtful!

This is the second time we have had the pleasure of staying in this hotel. And given opportunity will return. It is an older style hotel but rooms are huge, beds are incredible massive pillows (makes getting out of bed to ski hard 😊). It’s literally five minutes to gondola, coffee in the morning is well worth getting up for and staff are always friendly. Can’t fault you guys thanks again 😊🙏

Location, location. The best. Surrounded with a lot of restaurants and shopping. They give free bottled water anytime of the day. Better to come during weekdays for parking. I'll definitely come back to this hotel.

After an awful night at a “luxury hotel” we walked in to Hotel Becket to see if they had a room available. Not only did they take a same day reservation, it was a great price. They provided the best customer service for our family and our dog. They even offered additional amenities like a pack and play for the baby and gave us toothpaste because we had left ours at the previous location. The room was clean and spacious. Parking was easy. Great access to heavenly village. We will be staying here again in the future.

Stayed here with a group of 5 in the corner suite with bunkbeds, the queens under slept very comfy, and the top bunks came in handy for our other friend. Slim pickings on the breakfast, and a barn door style bathroom door in the suite that didn't allow for optimal privacy. Quick walk to applebees (late night food) and a little bit longer of a walk to the casinos but manageable.

Stayed there the last 3 nights and absolutely loved it! Super cute hotel close to everything in town and the staff was incredible. Everyone at the front desk was so friendly, Berke (hope I spelled that right) and Pablo were so helpful when we booked an additional night on a 3rd party app but didn’t reserve the right room. They welcomed my puppy, had great options for an easy breakfast. Can’t say enough about it. All of the girls that worked the front and the manager were great too. Definitely coming back!

It’s a Beautiful place to stay . Room is nice and clean. Breakfast does not have hot breakfast, unfortunately. Hot was only tea and coffee. Staff members are nice and friendly. Overall a good stay. I can recommend

Hotel Becket has it all, great location, great service and a solid breakfast.

You can’t beat being a five minute walk to the gondola at Heavenly. That way you’re able to just put on your gear, walk to the gondola and then get onto the trails within half an hour.

The service was fantastic all around. The day we initially were meant to come down, the roads were closed. The staff called us to let us know about the situation and even offered to cancel our reservation for us free of charge. Luckily the roads opened back up and we were able to still get up to the hotel a few hours later. I really appreciate their proactivity regarding the situation.

Finally, they provided a hearty breakfast that was so nice to have before a full day of snowboarding.

All around A+.

Great location, very close to restaurants, casinos if that's your thing, grocery store, shops, started line and the lake.

Loved the lime scooters being right there, didn't use them this visit but will next time.

They have restaurant attached with a lovely outdoor space that had fire pits and live music

Parking was easy and accessible

Super easy access to motel style rooms. Easy parking, rooms are nice, area is quite.

Good price-quality ratio. Helpful and welcoming staff. Near gondola forget about extra costs for parking. Breakfast options are limited but enough to get your day started. We will repeat.

We loved our stay at Hotel Becket. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful with recommendations on things to do in the area. The hotel is in a great location; across the street to all the shops and restaurants at the Heavenly Village, and a short walk to the casinos. The room was clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again during our next trip to Tahoe. Thank you to the staff at Hotel Becket for a wonderful stay!

Our stay at hotel becket was exceptional any questions we had Jeremy and Paola and Juan were extremely helpful and were great guides, the location is exceptional the beds were one of the comfiest we’ve ever stayed in and the room was clean, overall 11/10!!!
