The Elet Hotel

My family and I had a wonderful experience at this hotel during a recent stay. It was our first time at Lake Tahoe and it was a last minute trip, nonetheless, booking a room was incredibly easy, and the owner was extremely friendly and welcoming. The room was spotless, and all the amenities were in perfect order.

What truly made our stay memorable was the little surprise they prepared for my daughter's birthday. It was a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture that made her day special. I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent service and personal touch

We loved our stay at the Elet! The location and price can’t be beat. The rooms are nicely updated, very clean, and our stay was quiet. The staff was very friendly. It was the perfect home base for our time in South Lake Tahoe!

The Elet is a very good three-star hotel. Check-in was pleasant. The room was clean and included snacks. My only complaint is that the heater was quite noisy, though nothing I couldn't sleep through. Unfortunately I didn't sleep very well because the bed and pillows were too firm for my preference, but I imagine others might find them comfortable.

We just arrived at the hotel and are impressed with how clean it is. Our room looks newly renovated and they even provided snacks!

We had a great stay at the Elet Hotel! It’s just a short 5 min walk to the Heavenly resort gondola. The room was really clean and comfortable. The service was also great! We had to check out late in the afternoon and our request was graciously accommodated. Overall, a great value-for-money and comfortable stay. Highly recommended!

If you look for spic and span clean motel with free parking, this is your place. Floor, toilet, bath/shower, linens are all super clean. Fridge is big and AC is individual to the room and efficient. Reception efficient and helpful. Very central 5 min from Heavenly ski lift and Marriott patio and 5 min in the other direction to the Marina/Lake Tahoe, this is your place in the action and still just outside for a quiet night.
So from the couple of motels around the area, do not hesitate to pick this one.
We paid too much for good price/quality because of busy weekend in July and last minute booking.

We had great experience at this Hotel in Lake Tahoe. The touristy areas are accessible even by foot and the room where we stayed is squeaky clean and comfortable. Thanks to the hardworking and hospitable personnel, who catered to our needs during our stay. Definitely worth it to recommend with friends and family when they visit Lake Tahoe.

The room is very clean and new. It provides almost all supplies you might need. Highly recommended! This is the third time we booked this hotel!

We ran out from Hard Rock (that’s another story, DO NOT stay there if you are considering that btw), we randomly choose this place to stay for two nights, we surprisingly love this place so much. The lady from the front desk was super nice, she basically solved all the problems we had. Because we booked this staying in a very short time and made some mistakes, she was kind to help us re the booking issue. The room is super clean and dedicated, very detail oriented. Location is nice, you can literally walk to a Starbucks in 2 mins. The cleanness is incredible, the bathroom has very nice hot water as well. Anyway, nothing to be complained about, should be your first choice to stay in Lake Tahoe. Highly recommended!!

We had a wonderful stay at this family owned hotel. It was definitely one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in. The 2 ladies at the front were very welcoming and made sure to mention that all the snacks/drinks in the room were complimentary. It had a huge portable fridge. The bed was so comfortable that we are going to look into getting one for our home. I loved all the little touches that they did. They provided robes, slippers and put chocolate on the pillows, etc. I felt like I was on a cruise the way the room was when we first got there. The room was recently renovated and seemed like it had never been stayed in. It was spotless. The price was very affordable. The location is within walking distance to downtown Heavenly Village. This is going to be our go to hotel from now on.

During prior trips to Tahoe we usually stay at the casinos but decided to stay here only for one night but the entire stay was great. At check in the staff was friendly, helpful and quick during the process.

We had a room on the second floor, it was clean all around from the bathroom to the bed and fridge. The rooms were remodeled somewhat recently as well, the furnishings throughout were nice.

The bed and mattress was just right too, it made for a good night of sleep and the building is quiet too, it’s far enough from Highway 50 to not hear road noise and others staying at the hotel were quiet too which was nice.

Next time I’m in Tahoe, I’ll be staying here again for the reasonable prices, proximity to the casinos/restaurants and the overall comfort and quality of the room.

This was one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in. It is a family owned hotel that looks like it has been recently updated and renovated. From the crown molding, huge tv, nice bed, complimentary snacks, the bathroom faucets, to the beautiful floors. Also, it was very quiet when we stayed there, which was a Friday night.
The women at the front desk were super nice.
Would highly recommend! And will definitely stay here again!

Perfect location within walking distance of the lake and to shops, restaurants and other places of interest. The rooms are adorable, clean, with simple, modern touches. This place was recently remodeled and was such a bargain so close to everything. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. We will definitely be back!

This family owned hotel was very clean and the family members running the reception area were very welcoming and friendly. The room includes a large mini fridge, robes, slippers, and AC, which was awesome as Ca is having a heat wave at the moment. There were also some welcoming snacks and water! There is some traffic noise, but no one can control that, so if you are light sleeper, bring some ear plugs or request a parking lot facing room. This is a great affordable place to stay!

The receptionist at the front desk, on 5-15-21 at about 9 o'clock, is extremely nice. Customer service is excellent. She had no problem bringing a microwave to the room for use. Room is really clean and inviting. Furniture and decor makes you feel at home. Bathroom located in room is clean and roomy. Lighting is dimmable which came in handy when putting the baby to sleep. I reserved the king room. Thank you!

The Elet is excellent. Very new and clean rooms! SO CLEAN! Stayed for two nights and extended and extra night. The hospitality was amazing and we really felt like we were cared for. Definitely coming back next time we are in Tahoe :)

Con: walls are thin so if you have neighbors, you might be able to hear them, especially if you’re on the ground floor.

The Elet hotel was the perfect stay. Perfectly located in the middle of it all but in our own quiet corner, it felt. The staff was friendly and accommodating, the room was newley remodeled and very clean. We were impressed with everything from the bed to TV, and decor to the cleanliness! We recommend to all our friends.
