Golden Chick

The food was excellent! It was my first time eating there. My husband eats there regularly because he works and loves to fish in that area. I tried the roasted chicken, fried okra, and cheddar pepper bites. I paid extra to get 4 yeast rolls to share with others at our table. Everything was fresh & hot. Definitely get extra rolls. My entire family raved about the sweet tea.

Great choice for large take out orders for parties, reunions etc. Friendly and efficient staff. Fried chicken is the best I have ever tasted. Sweet tea is awesome.

We went through the drive thru 30 mins prior to close on a Friday night! The food was great, the service was decent. We didn’t wait long & our food was hot, hot!

Stopped in for a quick bite, I ordered the baked chicken, mac and cheese and fries everything was so good, I live the heat rolls that came with my meal it was different because everyone else servers biscuits but i rally enjoyed the roll and the sweet tea was the best.

Ok, so I'll confess, if you are sleeping on Golden Chick, you're missing out. Not only has "Happiness Beeeen Within" every box, every week but today I ordered a 3 piece tender snack and I was BLESSED WITH EXTRA ROLLLS. Y'all listen, I don't know if it was an accident but if you've ever eaten one then you would know that the rolls are like warm mana straight from carb heaven! The softness is what my childhood self would imagine it's like to eat a pillow or maybe even fog but better, it brings back memories of Sundays at Ryan's rolls bought to your table except you don't need the honey butter. How is a roll soft, but moist but sweet and fluffy? No answer makes sense. The tenders are hot, and crispy and the crunch is long-lasting just like I want which is why there's only 1 in the pic (don't judge me, worry about your Mama) Every. Single. Time. and whatever that Zing sauce is, well it's delicious so who cares for real? The Superbowl of this place is the sweet older lady that greets me in the drive-thru every visit. I feel like I'm picking up lunch from my Sweet Grandma, except I always pay. She always hands me my bag with a hair-net and a gold smile. "Have a good day sweetie" and I'm like, "Yes ma'am you too "....not literally but I think it. Last week was her birthday, y'all be nice and show her some love when you stop by! Everytime we come down to Panama City we stop by we’re from Texas but currently in Tennessee we don’t have one we love this location and their team! Food was fresh delicious and tasty

Had no issues with the wait time or customer service. We had to wait just a minute for a couple wings but they more than made up for it. Food was fantastic.

Very good 👍 food and very clean restaurant. The fried chicken blow KFC out of the water and yeast rolls were superb plus the staff was cool also .

I got the family meal with chicken, bread, and fries. It was great food, and the employees were nice.

Not sure if it family owned, but it sure feels like it with the quality of everything. Staff is friendly and fast. I've had everything on the menú and it seems like the chef never fails to produce the best meals and sides.
Besides the quality it's the best value in Panama City and Bay County. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
