Bayou Joes Marina & Grill

Hot day but under the shade with a good breeze made it very comfortable. Good margaritas we are still trying to figure out the recipe..fun watching the fish eat scraps. Always recommend trash burger . Trash with class is a huge burger. Bacon cheddar bayou chips are yummy and we all got side of the homemade ranch. There were 7 of us and we had about a 35 min wait to be seated. One is in a wheelchair so the uneven floor boards were a little bumpy but manageable. Great atmosphere and scenery.

My husband and I like to go here when we can. Sometimes there is an hour's wait, but to me, the view and food are worth it. I love to see the fish and the dolphins swimming around as well as the draw bridge moving up and down for the boats. We love the atmosphere.

Great views of the water. You can drive up in your boat to order. The food was really yummy. Plastic container on table for garbage so the marina stays clean. Eco friendly

This pleas was SO good!!!!! Like I can not say enough about this place! So cute! Amazing food! The peach dessert (Drunk and ugly) was the best dessert I’ve ever had!! The trash burger and sweet potato fries were on point!! 👌 Go eat here!! Seriously just do it!

I loved the atmosphere of being out on the water. The peach rum drinks went down without any problem. I had the seafood combo with grouper and scallops blackened and green beans, all very good. If I'm ever back in the area, I would stop in again!

Best breakfast and brunch in the Bayou! This place is very chill! Eating on a dock, enjoying breakfast beers and mimosas - this is the place. Military discount friendly! Be prepared for a wait if you get here during the crazy hours. We waited about 20 mins, no problem. Food was excellent - the pancakes are massive and fluffy, the pickle chips aren't too spicy, and the Kong taters are interesting and huge. There's a big ole menu and everything is super tasty. Staff is friendly. Come give it a try!

p.s. The cucumber wasabi salad dressing goes well with everything!!

We went to eat here off of a recommendation from a friend before coming down to our Panama city beach vacation. We were all happy we took the recommendation.

I'll be honest it didn't look like much walking in to the restaurant. But the atmosphere from the hostess station and the dining room area were excellent. It's a covered out door seating right on the water, looking out over the marina.

The food was delicious. I got the captains choice meal. Chose the blackened grouper, and blackened shrimp. The grouper was good but the shrimp was very good. Next time I would probably only get the shrimp so I would have a bigger portion.

Service was excellent they have a smaller dining area probably able to seat 20-25. It was nice to see the owner mingling with the customers. Everyone was very nice.

My daughter liked that she could feed French fries to the fish, a suggestion from the owner.

I loved everything about this place!! Good location right on the water, delicious food, and GREAT service! Our waitress was super polite and even offered us gluten free options when she found out one of our party had a gluten allergy and specifically had the food cooked separately. Price for the food was fair too. We would definitely go back and absolutely recommend Bayou Joe's!

FEEL FREE TO EAT DOCKSIDE IN YOUR BOAT. FEED THE SALTWATER FISH SWIMMING around your table ( ask for a waterfront seat ) I have always loved this place. Atmosphere is crazy unique and the staff are great. The same waitress has been there since I was a young man. This is a LOCALs spot so please check the times it’s open and so forth because it has some special hours and days off. But do not be fooled, one of the best grouper sandwiches I have ever tried and those fries! They do offer shellfish allergy conscience food!!!.

I had researched for a good, local, seafood restaurant in Panama City ( off beachfront row ) and this was most recommended. We encountered a very friendly staff, good service, and the food was very fairly priced and was off the chain good! I had Shrimp and Grits, husband had the Blackened Grouper. Our portions were large and very tasty and much better priced than those on Beachfront in PCB. We finished with the Sunshine pie ( a twist on Key lime pie that was made with OJ, yummy) and the Hot fudge brownie, both were homemade and outstanding. We have added Joes to our "must do every time in PCB".

First visit to this restaurant. Upon first glance I thought, this is a dive, but the more we looked around it is a really neat place with lots of atmosphere. The restaurant is literally right on the water. The service was great, and the food was wonderful. It was a pretty good drive out to this place, but it was well worth it. We will be back when we are back in town. Thanks for a terrific dining experience!!

It was about a 35 minutes wait, only due to how busy they were. Kids stayed busy feeding the fish and playing jenga. Food was absolutely amazing. Fish, Shrimp, Salad and Crab claws were the best we have had and we are from the coast. Could definitely leave the corn but it wasn’t necessary. Prices were reasonable and something for everyone. Owner was busy helping while chatting with the kids. Good view including a working draw bridge. Will definitely visit again!

Very nice. Tried there trash burger where the shef throws some chooses his own in ingredients on top of a cheeseburger. Who would have thought gold fish and sloppy Joe worked so well.

Bayou Joe's Marina Grill has a relaxed atmosphere and the staff is courteous and helpful. Had the Grouper basket and the good was fresh, hot and taste great. What I thought would be a cheap beer, Estrella Jalisco, turned out to be quite $$$$. It definitely took me by surprise being that in Texas, where I'm from, they sell that beer for $2, where we paid @ $7 a bottle here. Beyond that, the view relaxing, chill and great food and service.

It was beautiful and an amazing experience, the food was delicious 🤤😋💜 Oh and don't forget to try the fried pickle chips, there just absolutely amazing 😍

This is a hidden treasure of a place.
The view, staff, and food are all excellent. I've been for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and they have all been great. You receive and decent portion of food for the price you pay in comparison to other locally owned restaurants, and it is delicious. And the view is beautiful and (mostly) enjoyable.
They do allow boats to pull up and dock right beside the deck you eat from, so you may have people sitting in their boat, or getting in and out right in front of you, and you may smell the gas/exhaust from it momentarily as well which can be distracting and a little bit of a bummer, and may block your view a little. And more than likely you will have to wait on a table because there is very limited seating. Plan to come early or wait.

Love this place. Outside seating but can close a door when weather isn't ideal. Food is great. Best crab claws I've had in town, love the tuna dip, basket meals, burgers, Philly cheese steaks, you name it. Can feed the fish your scraps if you have any, while you sit right next to the water (while trying to avoid the seagulls from getting it instead). I don't have to drive to the beach and deal with all the traffic to get there.

I would say I just wish so many people didn't go during the tourist seasons and wonder how so many people find this place cause you'll miss it if you're not looking for it. But then remember there's people like myself probably giving good reviews. Lol. I should probably leave a bad review so I won't have as many people to deal with 🤣

Probably one of, if not my most favorite restaurants to eat at in town, and great place to take my woman out to dinner who loves it as much as I do.

Oh. My. Stars!! This place is a MIST VISIT! The view is heavenly, the food is delicious, and the service is outstanding! Carmen was a waitress… she couldn’t have been kinder. The restaurant is small and quaint. It’s something out of a novel. You might have to wait a few minutes but totally worth it. You can even feed the fish to pass the time. We will be back asap!
