This is a cute little museum! We didn't go on an activity day but I definitely would love to! Nice walking trails in the woods & 1 paved trail. Definitely a place you can't see everything in just 1 visit! Hoping to be volunteering there sometime soon! Thank you for the wonderful day!

Dropped off an old country school book. I also dropped off two plates (75 & 100yr anniversary )from St. John's Lutheran Church in Krocshel, Minnesota.

Staff and volunteers at the Kanabec History Center have been very helpful with requests for historical photos and information about my hometown, Ogilvie, MN. Interesting museum in Mora that tells the story of early settlers and indigenous peoples as well. Great exhibit about the 1918 Influenza Epidemic. Anne

This is a great place to host an event. They have a well stocked kitchen area that really helps to serve a crowd. The rates are reasonable and the staff is helpful and accomodating.

My visit there was great. I was able to research about a building in town. From newspaper articles, donated photos and local records I found everything I needed. On my visit an Author Paul Kilgore brought his new book in “A Window Into The Attic”. I bought a copy before leaving. Fun Day, interesting place.

We rented the banquet room here for after a funeral; it was perfect. The room size, kitchen and supplies, tables/chairs, and media hookups. The staff ladies were very helpful and prompt. Large parking lot and yard as well.

In my work, I periodically need documents printed immediately, without notice. These fine folks have been helpful each time, printing my paperwork in 15 or 20 minutes. They even have me the use of a table and stapler to finish my work!

I can't find enough words to express how helpful the staff at the History Center was in my search for information on my family's history! We stopped in on a whim, and left with lots of valuable information, and they were even kind enough to email me copies of some very important photos.

Get in with Nature & some of Mora's History even check out inside of a train car. Neat place to check out on your list of things to do in Mora. Also my son began to attend Karate here but we didn't end up continuing to go schedules on our end didn't allow it but would of loved to continue.
