This is the best shop in the area! Polite door man, employees and owners. Great selection for most things and they seem to offer more and more every year. And it’s clean too!

A favorite store of ours in the city. Solid staples like bourbon, rum, craft beers, and wine. But also a nice selection of mixers. Chris, Andy, and a knowledgeable staff were great! They helped with craft cocktail recommendations and ordered a liqueur I couldn't find for 1920s themed party we recently had. Thanks Andy, we'll post pics soon!

Very nice store. They recently upgraded everything in the store and it looks fabulous. They have parking in the parking lot is good and well lit at night

I've followed them on instagram for a while & always see craft beer posts. I saw that they had No Rules so I called to see if they would hold one for me, they did. I stopped by to pick it up on my way home from work and have to say I was surprised by this place. The outside looks just a little sketchy (like your typical store in the D), I guess i should say unassuming... but inside is sweet. I was not expecting it to be so nice. The guy behind the counter had my beer ready to go. We talked for a little and he told me they're increasing their craft beer and bourbon selections. I'm happy there's a craft beer store in the neighborhood. I almost forgot, the bag they gave me had my name and a random movie quote written on it lol. I thought that was kind of funny.

This shop has a huge selection and I personally love that they stock a few select local distillers. They are always polite and the store is clean and organized.

Ever since I was a little zatut, my grandpapa has been taking me to Basil’s for scratch off’s & giblits. It has been said, that the fastest lottery machine operator in the tri-county region hones his skills at this location. Over the years, the city may have changed but Basil’s has always stayed the same. A business that has stayed true to their Core City roots for over 45 years, a staple in the community. The largest selection of Liqour on the Westside of Detroit. A Bourbon, Whiskey & Tequila connoisseur’s go-to spot & for those of you who are looking for Craft beer, their staff is keen to the newest additions for each season. If you’re looking for a nice wine to compliment your dinner or a bottle of champagne to celebrate your night, Basil’s Bottle Shop will get your right. Personally, I marvel at the organizational mastery of their candy selection.

The prices are low and the selection is fine. The cashier was attentive and friendly. There selection of cigarettes could be better, but I was able to find something that worked. Cheers.
