Stony Lake Inn

We love going to stony lake, the last time we went we were so overly impressed I had to share a review. We had the best spinach and artichoke dip we’ve ever had. I had the best French dip I’ve ever had, my significant other loves his lunch and our 2 year old finished his. Perfect day, perfect lunch. As always, we’ll be back

I had the smoky chicken and swiss sandwich with sweet potato fries. Absolutely delicious. I only rated the food a 4 however because my fiancee ordered the patty melt and said his beef was a tad bit undercooked but ate it anyway. Flavor was good though.

I had the hot turkey sandwich, it was so good that we went the next night too and I got the ribeye. It was also very good. I will go here whenever I am in town.

Food was pretty good, they were extra busy, so service could've been better but we had a big group. We appreciate all the work y'all did to make us happy ❤

I think the food here is wonderful. I had the ribeye with mashed potatoes and cooked apples for dinner one night, and the fried asparagus another night. The fried asparagus is amazing. You should definitely give that a try. I was disappointed that asparagus is not a side item for dinner, since it's grown locally and they have plenty available. Located right next to Camp Miniwanca. Friendly staff and good food.

The steaks are awesome here. I am not sure about the last review. I have never been disappointed. If there was a problem, I am sure the staff would replace it. I have been dinning at the Stony Inn for over 10 years. Excellent food and a terrific staff. I am a really big fan of the chef salad and homemade ranch dressing as well when I have a lite appetite. The broasted chicken is a good option as well.

A group of us came down from Cadillac,Mi and rented an AIRBNB a mile up the road from the Stony Lake Inn.We stopped and had dinner Thursday and everything was excellent and super friendly.Christina the Server/Bartender was incredible.We had so much fun we came back Saturday afternoon and we were lucky enough to have Christina wait on us again!!!

First time eating in the dinning room, and it was fantastic. The service was fast and the food was delicious. I definitely would eat there again if I'm in the area.

We had a great experience here. The fish was cooked to perfection! Autum was very nice and took great care of us. The burgers are also good.

Great bar food and we're picky. I had the perch sandwich and onion rings and hubby had the bourbon salmon which was moist and tender, fresh veggies not over cooked.

I’ve never had a bad meal here. Sure it may be unpolished in appearance and the waitstaff have a lot of hard work when it’s full but the food is always delicious. I’d recommend the KBC Widowmaker on tap and anything that catches your eye on the menu. Drink the beer, enjoy the meal, then head to the beach for the sunset.

What a great old place, CLEAN. This has been here since 1936. If you are driving along the lake shore on Senic Dr plan on stopping. The mixed drinks are great. The food is very good, great selection.

Definitely a local favorite. The food is usually really good. I've a had few BAD experiences with waitresses over the years but ya can't hold that against them. Check it out if you're in the area!

Battered asparagus in season!! Food was good as always. Service was a little sub par today but still okay. They got an extra beer out of me as a result...so it was a win-win.

Stopped here after horseback riding. It's a little outdated, hole in the wall place with good service and great food. My friend had the Michigan salad and said it was delicious. We shared the onion rings and honestly the best I've had in a long time. I have whe broasted chicken that was extremely tasty with Mashed potato and a salad. The salad was very fresh and cold. I highly recommend this location and will definitely return when in town. To the chef 👏

Love the restaurant all year long! such a large family friendly place! The to-go service never disappoints & never more than 20 mins even for a pattymelt!

Very friendly staff and good service- server actually removed dirty plates from our table as the meal progressed, which is a lost art these days! Family had Michigan salad, pork chops, wings and chicken tenders. Everyone enjoyed the meal and there was very little left on our plates! Only downside was the “Brandon” sign on the business across the street, but can’t hold that against this restaurant.
