Nandi's Knowledge Cafe

The best of times indoors and outdoors and also day and or night. Great study atmosphere and a lot of cultural knowledge from many sources. I’ve seen classes held here but I was too busy studying from the cafe library to inquire of the classes. Grab a bite to eat food here is great and I like to eat outside on the back patio. I’ve enjoyed my share of night entertainment and I’m actually going again tomorrow night for reggae and more. Local and National talent comes together for open mic and of course the dance floor is a highlight.

Went to Blowed Bingo...
First time there, won the very first game. Just don't say, "Bingo." Yell, 'I just Blowed!' or you'll be forced to sing and/or dance for the prize.
I won a half oz of top shelf weed, a nice hemp wrap, a CBD bath bomb, gummie and chapstick.

Great vibe, very nice people.
There was a beautiful drink to buy and food and dessert.
Both infused and non infused.
Will definitely plan a trip to go back. 1st and 3rd Fridays 6-9 p.m.

It's my favorite place to go summer or winter Thursday Friday or Saturday. Its cultural events provides solace it gives a Caribbean vibes dancing knowledge foods drinks good ppl and energy no fighting, you can showcase your passion or talents on Thursday at poetry night.
I bring so many of my friends here and no of them have been disappointed. 10s across the board!! Bookstore by day , Jam session by night. Must check out a hidden gem I must say.....✌🏿

Nice vibes, well lit, smoker friendly, very cultural... great art ... I was invited for the first time by Kong Gee for a Juneteenth Comedy Show and they did not disappoint. I will be back to see what other events take place here

The aura of bring around family. There are great performances throughout the week in the evenings. And a stocked library during the day. Soak it in, you'll thank yourself later.

Talk about a good time. I went there for a party. The kitchen had good food I enjoyed fish and chips. The dance floor stayed packed.

Nandis has become my favorite go to. Thursday they have open mic night / poetry. Saturdays is Afro beat night!! We be lit!!

One of my favorite places to go wine down relax and eat good fish.,also get a good book to read and educate on our history and ancestors..I love mamma nandi..

Been going for 30+ years and still love the place. Nandi got the best cooking in HP fosho! Book selection is fire too!

Dope vibe. Nice art. Spacious. Friendly folks, no drama & always good energy. I’ve been twice. I love the music learned one of the dances. I’d recommend and return. For nighttime vibes it’s best to get there early enough because seats are first come first serve.

I was invited by my daughter on a Thursday night. I absolutely love the vibe. Bring your own food, drink and smoke. You can take in the talent of local poets or join in the fun. The atmosphere is so chill and relaxed. Nandi is such a sweet lady.

Being from the suburbs, we've never had exposure to any place like this. We meet the owner and a few others. Conversation was engaging and the atmosphere was relaxed. We came during the day on bikes and had no concerns at all. Go there, you'll have a rich time.

Nandi's is the very definition of a Black Space, yet welcoming to all. Tranquil, lively, full of books and African art - the space is reminiscent of the music and poetry filled coffee houses and scholarly Movement spaces back in the day.

Plus Nandi's serves up some mean chicken wings, among other items. A great place for conversations and convening. Huge yet intimate, a throwback to a time of conscious gatherings, with something to see in virtually every inch of space.

This was my first time visiting this place and I can't wait to go back! It was such a vibe, the music gave me life. I fit right in! I think I've found my people. The drink's were responsible and the patio was nice too. An overall great experience.

Presidential Candidate Marianne Williamson spoke there & it was my 1st time there. The atmosphere was so warm and cozy. I felt LOVE. I sensed Community. It is a place of intellectual exchange and knowledge. There are books everywhere. African Art is all around. Nandi is a strong, loving Black woman; an elder who greets you with Love. I will definitely be spending time there. ❤

From the books, to the food, from the knowledge that's spread to so many. Great place for open mic, poetry, music, comedy, spoken word and even dancing...
