John Hoover Inn

This place surprised me. Has a outside front area where you can hangout, then an inside bar and live music area then a separate area with a tv, pool 🎱, darts 🎯 and shuffleboard. Not sure if they play live music everyday but the artists played some rock and country with their own kick. Also has a touch tunes so after the artists left, you could play your own music through it. The drinks were very well priced, not sure if that's the normal for that area, but compared to major city areas, they were good.

I would say my biggest wow was their pizza 🍕👌! For someone who loves pizza, their pizza was excellent, and hands-down better than a lot of pizzerias and chain restaurants 🙌 . We ordered one 16" pepperoni pie, and then a second 16" pie with pepperoni and pineapple. The crust was soft, crispy and edible. Toppings were just the right amount and the pineapples weren't too big and chunky making it fall off the pizza. Pizza was super hot so it took a minute before we could actually indulge. The other guys seemed to love their wings and burger.

Overall, good place to hang out solo or with a group of friends with a nice calm and welcoming atmosphere that I think could cater to different types of people, whether you want to watch the game, socialize, play games, relax outside taking in fresh air, or listen to some music 👍.

Service was fast. Friendly people and staff. Welcoming atmosphere. Best wings that I have ever had ! Burgers and appetizers were great ! Very clean place. I highly recommend this place.

I just had the best BLT I have ever had, seriously. Service was quick and pleasant. My husband had a small side salad that was larger than small.and wings made just the way he likes them

Best bartender DLaw. Owner is cool. Owner son is cool. Great food. Plenty of room. Nice porch to chill outside on during nice days. Could probably have more events. But great atmosphere overall.

Can’t judge a book by its cover, sums it all up. Good food. Great people. But if you’re easily offended, you might want to stay away.

Great bar!! Tonight was burger night. All burgers with a side were $10! Fabulous!! Danele behind the bar was wonderful.

The John Hoover inn is a great place. If you have not been there you don't know what you're missing out on. Johnna and staff will make it a very experienced time to remember with food drinks in hospitality.

I have visited the John Hoover Inn 4 times while visiting my grandson at Fort Drum. A great place great food and very friendly atmosphere. Wish we had a place like this in South Carolina. Thanks for a great time and good food. Wendy Brigman
