Benona Township Park

We have a cottage in the area and this is such a great float from Stony Lake to Lake Michigan! You'll want paddles even if you're just tubing. Family friendly and absolutely beautiful scenery. We love going with a big group and having a blast. There is also an area for swimming, a small playground and a baseball field, picnic tables and a hand pump for drinking water. Such a great, family friendly area!

Pretty nice place to fish, swim, canoe, have a picnic, eat ice cream, float down the river etc. They also have a couple camping areas not to far away!

Very nice, small inland lake... water is clean and much warmer than the big lake, a nice beach and great docked-in area for all sizes. A great place for safe family fun (especially if you have little people)! Walking distance to Lake Michigan.

We love to take the kids there, there's a swimming area for kids, a playground and grills for cooking out. Beautiful creek to tube down and get out at Lake Michigan. Not to mention the cleanest Port-a-potties I've ever encountered 😁

Great park offering softball field, creek access, playground, basketball court, port a potty, grills and corner store across street with inner tube rental as well as ice cream. The park is well maintained.

Love visiting Stoney Lake when we do our annual camping trip in Montague. Brings back memories for my husband, and it's a beautiful park where you can tube, or kayak, or boat.

Great place to bring your family

Friendly neighborhood park. Nice little playground for the kids. Swings and a Merry go round. Ice cream across the street, and altogether peaceful.

Such a nice place to let your kids play. The channel is right behind the park for fishing convenience as well.

Stony lake is so beautiful and the town is so friendly. Right by the Stony Lake Store for ice cream!
