Gustafson’s Smoked Fish

I’m down in Southeast Michigan and have had the jerky a few times, it’s the best I’ve ever had. Recently, a friend of mine went north and brought me back some fish dip. I can’t believe how good it is. I had to stop myself from eating the entire container at one go! I’m already looking forward to my next order and this one’s not even done yet.

A wonderful little stop to get some "Up Nort" souvenirs, smoked fish, and jerky. Highly recommended.

This place was busy and I could see why. They had a great selection of fish, and other unique food. They had souvenirs at decent prices. It was worth the stop, just to see this unique shop. The staff were so friendly.

This place is the real deal! While not the only place along this stretch to smoke fresh fish right on premise, it is a personal favorite. More than fish for sale, though the smoked fish will have you coming back!

Jerky was amazing, I'll definitely make it part of my trip to stop and get more from now on.

Long winded review but, I came here around three years ago to stop and get some gas. Saw they had some trinkets and spices for sale. Grabbed the “butter garlic” one and fell in love! I live in the lower peninsula but come up once or twice a year and always make sure to swing by and restock. I’m writing this review because my trip got delayed and I couldn’t go through summer without my favorite seasonings! Unfortunately they were out of garlic butter but the sweet onion burger rub was still in stock! Grabbed a few new ones and I’m so amazed that my order is being delivered TWO days after delivery!

Awesome customer service and great products at a good price. Highly recommend grabbing some seasonings if you’re in the area.

I've got both their smoked whitefish and salmon several times, it's so very good!! I look forward to getting it each time I'm in the U.P.!! The driveway in/out for the gas station can be difficult when there is a good amount of traffic, not alot of space..

The best everything! I stopped on the way up to the Keweenaw and on the way home on Saturday. I ate almost all of it all ready... it's only Monday lol.

We bought almost 2 pounds of fresh smoked salmon, one peppered and one regular, oh my could it get any more delicious?? I just don't think so! The woman who waited on us was kind and friendly, very nice place!

Best smoked salmon I’ve ever eaten. We did a road trip from Green Bay Area to visit and spent $85 on goodies.

I read the reviews and stopped along my journey. I bought smoked whitefish and took it home on ice. And I just finished trying it. This is absolutely amazing and I can't say enough good things. Thank you!

Some of the best smoked fish I’ve ever had, seriously great stuff. Definitely get the lake trout. Very friendly staff that don’t try to rush you while you. The beef jerky and slim Jim’s are fantastic as well. Top notch place!

When ever we travel US 2 to Wisconsin, we always stop to buy Smoked 2 Lake Trout, 1 or 2 Whitefish, 2-3 containers of their smoked fish dip, and a pound of Teriyaki Jerky. Been customers for 50 years and have Never been disappointed….

Must stop if you are heading West from the bridge. They have the best smoked fish and jerky I've ever had. $8/lb for smoked white fish!

Fun fact - I stayed here when it was a motel (restaurant and store), on our road trips when growing up, back in the 60s and 70s! Someday, I'll stop in again as the fish market/store that it is now. I always wondered what became of this place - it was the only hotel we stayed at on our two-day road trip. The UP was so beautiful, too. I loved it up there. Used to walk down to the lake, and at night, I remember being able to see the bridge lit up in the distance from there.

Loved it.But sis said pasties did not look like they were fresh and cooked there.She said preservatives in cause she's gluten free
