KBK Garden Center

We were very satisfied with KBK for helping us re-landscape our whole front yard. Tree roots had overtaken most of the yard. Alyssa came out and made recommendations and a proposal. We negotiated how much they would do and how much we would do ourselves. Their 3 person work crew finished the job in one half day. They were available to answer questions about upkeep, watering, etc. Very friendly, very flexible, very competent, very helpful. We would certainly recommend their services to others, and we may end up using them again ourselves sometime.

KBK is more than just a garden center, they hold great family-children friendly events throughout the year with no cost crafts and take home projects, our favorite is before Christmas with a petting farm and live reindeer! Proven Winners. Not just one of the brands find here but what immediately comes to mind when I think about this local nursery and the amazing staff. My first visit my hands were full and without asking for assistance was offered if I needed help. I immediately knew this place was something special.

Later that year I returned to purchase a gardenia plant that thrives today 4 years later. I have friends that has flowers passed down from generations. I might not have those from my family but when I see my plants from KBK I have those same feelings. I remember the day I got them, how they made me feel and all the memories and I think of the fun times I have there each visit.

The family friendly activities they hold year round brings our communities together. KBK single handedly promotes and supports other local businesses. This is a rare stock of good people that businesses would die to have. Such a breath of fresh air, literally, as their open-air outdoor “greenhouse” and mulch yard is exceptional, well organized, and tidy, as their indoor “greenhouse” and gift shop. Can’t say enough good things about KBK.

Every visit has been the same since, staff knowledgeable and will drop whatever they are doing to answer questions or direct you to what you looking for. Trust me they have what your looking for and in the rare occasion they don’t, they are receptive to tell you why it might not be in stock or what they can do to help you find it or take it a step further and provide you with something similar that beautifies your home the same way you envisioned it. I wish I had more reasons to come here. If only they sold groceries!

Holidays are a hit here too! Halloween and their fall stock is just as gorgeous as spring and summer. They bring the home style cheer year round. Your garden, your yard, your home will thank you for supporting this local business and hidden gem in Saline.

The team at KBK Landscaping did a great job putting the finishing touches on our backyard deck & paver patio project. We are super happy with the work and looking forward to enjoying the new patio this summer.

Went to the Christmas holiday event on Sunday and had a great time. From the riddles, to the animals to Santa it was so much fun! All the activities from pony rides to feeding the sheep and goats and a visit with Santa and hot cocoa and stores were free. They had a wide range of decorations in the shop and I was able to to find some I just had to have. Thank you for a wonderful event.

I LOVE the Christmas Store so much! They had the entire store 50% off. They also had everything outside on sale!! My daughter got to pet several animals! Free hot coco or coffee also!! The workers in the store are so nice and outgoing! That is very important as well! They were all very knowledgeable!!

An absolutely amazing nursery! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Their selection is second to none. We landscaped our entire front yard with plants from here. Everything took beautifully, with the exception of two plants. However, Laura and her staff quickly replaced those plants at no extra expense to me. I couldn’t be happier with this nursery, and look forward to doing business with them for years to come.

KBK Christmas selection is amazing. It’s glitzy and glamorous or country and cute. I love the organization of the themes and colors, makes it so easy to find what you are looking for. But...... I also love to wander around and get new ideas! I can’t wait until they have wreathes this year because I love that I can customize the bows!

We have got our Christmas tree here the last two years. It's always so much fun to go and get a treat, pick out an ornament, and get our tree. The staff is super helpful and friendly and make it such a fun experience. Santa usually visits and they usually have hot chocolate and treats. I can't wait to visit this spring and summer to get stuff for my new home and yard!

The first thing I want to say about this place is how beautiful it is. This place is a lovely little botanical garden that happens to sell plants and garden supplies. We've been coming here for several years and the plants are beautiful. We have always had very healthy plants that do very well. They have lovely staff who are very friendly and helpful. They are also incredibly knowledgeable, and truly love their plants.
Please don't forget to check out the inside of the store, because the adorable garden decor in there is beautiful. They also have wonderful events throughout the year that are just super fun for the entire family.
This brings me to the most important thing I can say about this place. They truly love and care about their community. They give back in ways that are above and beyond words. During the Christmas season they held an event. It was during COVID so everyone was very cautious. Inside and out everyone had to be masked, distanced, and they limited capacity. There was a reindeer, and decorations, cocoa (the good stuff too), and the decorations were beautiful. The inside was a Christmas wonderland. I want to stress how careful they were, everyone was masked, distanced, and hand sanitizer was readily available. Here is the magical part, the owner dressed up as Santa. Taking all precautions, with a mask under the beard, and ventilation, she came out and gave the kids Santa. For my family, who had been through several sudden deaths, I myself was hospitalized with COVID early on before anyone knew about COVID, and was sick for months. I didn't see my kids for 30 days and no one knew if I would come home. Our children were traumatized and had so little hope to hold to. By this time I was healthy, and my partner and children never got it. Still, Christmas was not the same. No family, no friends, less money, less joy, and for the first time in my children's lives, my oldest being 14 and my youngest only 5, there would be no Santa. When we saw the owner pop out as Santa it was everything my husband and I could do to not cry in front of our kids. That moment of Christmas magic. No, they weren't on Santa's lap, yes it was masked and distanced, but none of that mattered. Santa came. Santa's eyes smiled at them. Santa said Merry Christmas. My kids were delighted, and as parents we went home and wept for the joy and hope that brought to our lives. For as many days as I am blessed with, I will always frequent this business, and I will forever be grateful. I hope that what they gave comes back to them 100 fold. Thank you KB.

KBK Garden center is truly a winter wonderland this time of year! The festive decorations are incredible! They have everything you could want or need for Christmas, to make both inside or outside of your home a wonderland too. Thank you Laura and Kris, for helping bring a little extra sparkle to my home! Staff is VERY knowledgeable and helpful! We were saved from making a poor decision on planting a tree under a black walnut tree already in our yard. She told us it would not survive... saving us work, money, time and grief. Phew! Will go back when we decide on our "plan B".

Omg! I went here haphazardly trying to get into planting in an apartment setting. The ladies here were so nice, helpful, and welcoming! I will definitely be back in the spring and strongly recommend anyone to visit.
