Second time eating here, was working nearby so decided to try it. Food was excellent and the staff showed true southern hospitality. Will definitely return if in the area.

OMG y'all! Just had lunch here. This is the BEST bbq and ribs we have ever eaten. Drove from Birmingham and was well worth it. Waitress was awesome! Will definately be back!

After visiting a second time I'm adding this first paragraph: if you like smoky ribs these are the smokiest I think you'll find.

When your wife tells you that the spare ribs taste really good oh say three or four times within two minutes you have to believe that they're being thoroughly enjoyed. I ordered a rack of ribs to take home and have a 45-minute drive so we heated them up in the Ninja air cooker and they turned out really really nice they are seasoned to start and they also come with some barbecue sauce if you wish.

I am also in a catfish addict when it comes to fried fish and I ordered one fillet to take home and eat while on the road this was one of the most crispiest breadcrumb fillets I have had with the most nicest flavorful content inside the fillet. The person that was standing beside me said I should have ordered two because everybody finds they need to I found that to be true on the way home having finished one and wishing I had another.

We had also an order of oysters which I thought were pretty good my wife likes them a lot they were very satisfying and enjoyable also same type of batter apparently everything that these people do has an exceeding amount of care put into it.

Oh by the way; I ordered a loaded baked potato and it comes with a nicely done baked potato with I think margarine on it and a container of baked beans with shredded pork and cheese inside which turned out to be a nice combination and wasn't too sweet.

overall the general appearance seemed clean and inviting comfortable to sit down if needed they did have a drive-thru wheelchair accessibility and everyone was pleasant.

Best BBQ I've had in the south with amazing service! Those hush puppies are addicting and you cannot beat those ribs ... they don't need any sauce but their white sauce takes it to another level.

Oyster sign is what got me. They were golden fried delicious hand-breaded cornmeal nuggets of pure joy. The potato that Chasetopher ordered it looked like a football stuffed with all the delicacies one might come to expect and love in a potato. The potato salad was homemade and very good as well as the jailhouse slaw. Wasn't it spicy is I had hoped but that's just a personal preference. Catfish? Yeah saved the best for last. It was on point. These people obviously love what they do, and you can tell that by the quality of the food and the neat atmosphere. A+ place, will be back!

Definitely worth stopping here.. great service, and great food.. and if you leave hungry it's only because you didn't eat because they are generous and give you a plate full, the chicken stuffed baked potato was probably a 3 pound or more plate itself

Just a perfect little Alabama BBQ. Hushpuppies were a nice starter. The tangy sauce was good. I would have preferred a harder smoke on the pork but there was plenty of it. The staff really makes the visit. Totally worth the stop.

Needed a place between Florence and Decatur to meet for supper, John’s was the place. Our waitress Melanie was AMAZING, kept our drinks full and was very attentive but not overly hovering. Food was great, served hot, and very tasty. Will definitely be back.

John's is a very good barbecue restaurant. They have a good and varied selection of the kind of food you would expect in a barbecue restaurant. It is all well prepared and the service is top notch. You will not be disappointed.

Went through the drive thru this time. We ordered 6 BBQ pork sandwiches and fried pickles. The sandwiches were huge. My mother in law made 2 out of hers. Delicious as always.

Are you a barbecue lover? Great. This place is for you. Do you despise barbecue? Great. This place is for you. The food at John's is phenomenal and I recommend trying it even if it's not pork. The staff is incredibly friendly and the hush puppies they serve as appetizers are also to die for.

Amazing food and great looking place!

Great BBQ, really nice dining room. The jailhouse slaw is awesome, a masterpiece of flavor. The people running the place are super friendly, too bad I don't live close to here.

Enjoyed my food . fresh hot and good. Prices are good. You will be full when you leave.

Just stopped by to pick up a couple of pork sandwiches. They were very good. Don't drink anything from Moulton, Al that's not made with filtered water or you'll be drinking what tastes like dirt!!

The chicken tenders were actually tender unlike most other places. Love the BbQ Nachos, boneless wings. Never had a bad meal served to us over all the years we have visited here.
