Cole Family Dental

I had my first visit with them recently as I am new in town. They got me scheduled relatively quick and did a great job for a first visit. The hygienist was friendly and the dentist was thorough. I’m glad I found my dentist on the first try. Check them out if you need a new dental office.

I was really impressed with this office. I have major anxiety when it comes to dentist everyone was so friendly, compassionate, and a lot of help. I am so glad I gave them a chance. Me and my husband will be ling time patients with them for sure!

Dr Cole and his staff are amazing!! He is calm and listens to his patients . He doesn’t rush you and his staff is just as compassionate.They genuinely care about you ! I have never called or had an issue that they didn’t try to help with . Highly recommend this dental practice!

This place is awesome. From the ladies up front to Dr. Cole hands down the best dentist I've ever been to. If you have dental anxiety this is your place. They make you feel comfortable and reassured your in good hands! Heck I might keep up with my oral care now that I've found a great dentist. Clean,very friendly, and patient place.

My husband and I are catching up on all of the standard yearly appointments we missed in the chaos of 2020, and we've visited quite a number of medical providers here in North Alabama after relocating from Colorado. Out of all of the appointments, I've only found 2 local providers who offered a standard of care that matched what we experienced with our former providers in the Denver area, and this fantastic dentist is one of them!

Dr. Cole must be incredibly busy, as he is the most in-demand dentist I've heard about from my neighbors and online research, but he certainly didn't show it during our first visit. He took time out to truly listen, explain, and inform. The technology in the office is also modern and on par with the most advanced dental practices I've visited outside of Alabama, and our hygienists were a joy to talk with during our cleanings. Dr. Cole also took extra time in my case to address a question, and he didn't even charge me for an additional x-ray and his time spent recommending options. Wow!

Additionally, this lovely office runs like a well oiled machine, even with the challenges of COVID-19 protocols in addition to the standard forms and billing elements they always need to handle for each patient. I was pleasantly surprised to login to my dental insurance portal only a couple of days later to see all charges for both of our appointments accurately billed (100% covered by dental insurance in our case) and completed so quickly. I usually offer a PRO/CON list in reviews like this, but I cannot think of a single negative here.

Athens is very lucky to have Dr. Cole and his wonderful team, and I highly recommend!

I went to an appointment this morning at Cole Family Dental. I have a slight case of dental anxiety, so my nerves were high. BUT I am so very pleased to say that Dr Cole and his staff were absolutely amazing. The hygienist, Crystal ( hope I spelled your name correctly) was so sweet and was sure to take her time and explain everything to me. She made sure I was at ease the whole visit. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone who may be looking!

Excellent dental practice... one of the best I have experienced. I broke an old crown on a tooth and was heading out for an Alaskan cruise later that week. They got me in the day before we departed and were able to actually put in a new crown that afternoon during the visit. They utilize technology to improve their service and they are equipped to make their own crowns in house. In my case, recognizing my circumstances, they stayed a little late and got my new crown on for the cruise. Service above and beyond my expectations. Good on ya Doc and staff!

I started going to Dr. Cole shortly after he opened. It has always been a pleasant experience. My family has interacted with most (if not all) of his staff and they have consistently been pleasant to deal with. Dr. Cole provides high quality dental care in a relaxing environment.

Let me just say , I LOVE this place!! Everyone is so friendly and actually care ! It's not just a paycheck to these individuals who work at cole family dental. I have really bad anxiety and honesty Very self conscious about my teeth because when I was growing up I didn't take care of them as I should have and so I have had to had a lot of work done throughout my adulthood and one time even asked to hold the dental asst hand because my anxiety is that bad. I can't even explain how comfortable this place makes me, and they also have payment plans, just be honest with them at the get go and don't keep dodging them etc because I normally in the past I would freak out going to the dentist. ( yes even as an adult ) I don't have the names of the workers but I will get them an update this. A BIG thank you to COLE FAMILY DENTAL for making me feel comfortable as possible and for setting up a payment plan so I could get my front teeth fixed with confidence.

Best dentist I've been to. Clean facility and friendly staff. They do a great job of pointing out your successes in routine brushing/flossing while tactfully making suggestions for improvement points they may see. This is important because former dentists I've been to have had a "better than you attitude" just because you have a cavity. I even admitted to them that it had been several years since visiting a dentist and rather than make me feel bad or point out that it wasn't in my best interest to do that, they simply replied that they were glad to have me in! They answer any questions I have sincerely and professionally. They always get me in very near my appointment time (no more than a 5 minute wait. Disclaimer: I do always get an 8 am appointment so other times may be different).

An absolutely fantastic dentist and staff. Had to have a root canal and crown done and over a year later it is still doing great. I also had the experience of another dentist telling me I was going to need a bunch of other work done but here they said everything was fine. Dr. answered all of my questions thoroughly and without making me feel rushed. I would highly recommend this dentist!

Dr Cole and his office staff are very professional and courteous! Lory at front desk has went out of her way to get my family in at short notice. Good patient satisfaction is very important to them and it shows! Good job Dr. Cole and staff!

I had an amazing first experience here. The staff was very professional and friendly. The doctor made me feel comfortable and was up front about what work that I need. I feel that the price is fair and affordable. The office is very clean and are following COVID precautions.

Cole Family Dental provided the most pleasant dental experience I've ever had. The facilities are new, and sparkling clean, and the staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating.

Being unfamiliar with area, I did not recognize Lee Hwy being same as
US Hwy 72 and gps didn't recognize Lee Hwy, so I called their office for assistance. Live out of state, here for husband's short-term job and unrelenting pain under bridge prompted me to make appt. Very friendly personnel. Dentist back home had informed me a month ago that I had a cavity under that bridge and it would need to come off to repair it. $8,000 job when it was installed few years ago. This dentist,Dr Cole told me,"No cavity". Come to learn, my regular flossing under the bridge wasn't sufficient and just a couple days before I saw Dr Cole, I must have dislodged something under there bc the pressure was gone. Switched to floss pics that have rubber bristles on them & it seemed to do the trick. POINT is, they could have been dishonest & they were not. I had even informed them that dentist back home told me there was a cavity & bridge needed removed. NOW, as far as that dentist back home, lol, no more visits to him ! Also, I want to mention that their office is gorgeous & clean ! The patient exam rooms not only have a TV on the wall but when they put ur chair back---bingo ! TV over ur head on the ceiling , too. Exceptional service all around ! Very , very impressed and I am picky. Saving their name and phone number for possible future return to this area. Thank you, everyone at Cole Family Dental. I was not referred there. Found info on internet and their name alone is why I chose them. Family. Happy I felt directed to go there.

This place is the best. I had two fillings and they are the best I've ever had. Really impressed with their professionalism and work. Also, great prices on his work. Highly recommend!

I hate going to the dentist, I gag really easy. They made me feel comfortable, and worked with me, and this is a good place.
