Absolutely pleasantly surprised! I got a cheeseburger and the seasoning and flavor is off the charts! The food choices are varied and has a little of almost everything! The location is a little out of the way but well worth it. I'll be back. 😀

Loved this food and service. We also met the owner and he was super kind. The salad and spinach dip were great. My daughter's French fries were yummy. My husband enjoyed his salmon. 🙏

We were looking for a quick local place to eat while passing through. I had the pepper jam burger. It was delicious. My son had sweet potatoe fries which were also good. Would definitely recommend! Atmosphere was nice. Staff was attentive and service was quick.

Came here for a late lunch today and had a very positive experience.

Nestled in downtown Decatur, this restaurant is kind of small but it's cozy and the vibe is very welcoming. They weren't super busy but I didn't expect a large lunch crowd at 1:30 on a Thursday and hey, just means faster food and service for me!

They have a fairly simple but thoughtful menu with lots of American favorites -- think burgers, sandwiches, steaks and chicken. As a result of their more steak-oriented dinner menu, they also have a few more upscale / less fried options as sides like asparagus or broccoli if that's more your speed.

I went with the Buffalo chicken wrap and French fries, with a sweet tea to drink. Overall, I was quite pleased with my meal. The sweet tea was delicious, and I was especially thirsty, so that was a huge plus! The French fry portion looked a little small at first but I was plenty full by the time I finished. The fries themselves were crisp, very hot, and the sprinkle of peppery seasoning gave them a little extra pizazz. The cup of ranch I got for dipping was great ranch, too. The wrap was nicely griddled, with lots of crispy chicken. It actually had some heat to it, too -- which I enjoyed (and I was doubly glad for the good ranch, lol!). The lettuce inside was maybe a little anemic, but honestly I didn't order the wrap to eat lettuce, so whatever, right? Haha.

My food was certainly enjoyable, but the real reason behind my 5 star rating has to be the service. Call me dramatic...but it was like, fine dining level of good service + some extra on top. I never caught her name, but my waitress was a taller woman with bright blonde hair and blue eyes and she was working at 1:30 today (Thursday, February 1). I think her daughter was seated at a table and coloring quietly for a few minutes early in my visit. If the owner happens to see this...please know you have a true gem on your team.

To start, she was great for just me. Always prompt with a refill (and I needed several), brought ketchup without me even having to ask, knew intuitively when I was ready to order and when I was ready for my check, brought me a to-go drink because she remembered I laughed and apologized over how thirsty I was, and just made me feel right at home and very welcome.

But even more important than that, she showed true and genuine kindness to multiple guests, going above and beyond the call of duty. A few minutes after I sat down, an elderly gentleman came in, seeming confused and a little worried. He was looking for directions on how to get to the social security office. He had the address and knew it was nearby but didn't know how to get there. My waitress spoke with him at length and tried to explain directions she pulled up on her phone. When that didn't seem to help enough, she painstakingly wrote the directions down for him, step by step, on a piece of paper -- Mapquest style! This seemed to help him a lot, and he left smiling and visibly relieved.

And THEN, toward the end of my visit, two gentlemen sat down behind me. When she came to their table, it became clear quickly that English was their second language. Nevertheless, she took extra care in ensuring they were taken care of just as meticulously and carefully as they deserved: making recommendations, asking thoughtful questions for clarification, etc.

Make no mistake: everyone deserves to be treated with the level of dignity and respect she gave to these other guests. But it would have been beyond easy to shrug them off or get away with giving them minimal care or attention. She didn't, though, and her care really did move me. Kindness matters more than anything, and she was truly kind.

So kudos, Bank Street Grill, and biggest kudos to your waitress who was working today! Her good deeds did not go unnoticed.

Just in town for one night and chose Bank Street Grill for dinner. Don’t miss an opportunity to eat here. I had a grilled chicken wrap that was incredible. So much well seasoned chicken and more than I could finish. My husband had the hot pepper jelly and cream cheese burger which was delicious also. The menu makes it difficult to choose what to try and I wish we had more days to eat there again. Our waitress took excellent care of us and made us feel like we part of their regular folks. Thank you for a gift of great food and fun.

OMG, the food so delicious and freshly cooked to perfection and very hot. One item I did try and never liked anywhere else is the grilled asparagus but there I will order again, I tried the fried green tomatoes, fried okra from my friends.I ordered the blackbean burger with sweet potatoes fried off the chain. Going back again again and again.

We were a party of 6, we dined on one of the sidewalk tables. We were all very satisfied with the food quality and taste. I had the bacon burger medium well with sweet potatoe fries. It was one of the best burgers I've had since before covid. The prices are a bit high to me, however, I would definitely recommend these folks.

We absolutely love. This was our first visit and we will be back. The food was fresh and hot. We had chicken wings and they were delicious. The wings were huge and we could not finish them. We also had the chicken tenders and they were awesome. Hand made and a wonderful Asian sauce with a little heat. Definitely enjoyed the food. Our waitress was quick, attentive and very pleasant. Very happy with our experience.

We randomly picked Bank Street while searching places to eat for dinner on google..
I'd say, we don't regret it.
Food was excellent, servers were friendly and the atmosphere was great.
I got the grilled chicken and my husband got the filet mignon.
Music is not too loud. Lighting is great, not too bright, not too dark. Just right to set a very relaxing and enjoyable environment.
Restaurant is clean as well.
Will definitely go back.

Dinner with family was fantastic, server Corey was great & a good friend from year's ago. Seared Tuna was insanely good, the patty melts & fries were on point. Best new restaurant in Decatur on historic Bank Street. 5☆+ - Rudy x RCRS 654-3631

Being from New Mexico I was surprised to see Hatch chili on the menu. The Hatch smothered burger was great!
Definitely will eat here again next time I'm in the area.

If you are from out of town this is a must visit on your trip/stay. I had 3 different items off the menu, all superb. In Decatur for the week and I ate at 2 must visits. This is one for sure. The other is Railyard. Get here early because it gets crowded. Definitely a local spot which should tell you something. Weekends will be hard to get in if you don't get there early so you may want to call in a reservation. It is well worth the effort. Great food and service. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Loved it!

A friend of mine that lives in the area recommended this place to me while I was in town. Place has a good vibe and the staff are very friendly and attentive. I was in a curious mood and tried the open faced green chile burger. First time ever eating a burger with a spoon but I'll tell you it was definitely worth a try. The chile sauce added a great taste and was not too spicy or overpowering. I recommend anyone to give it a try. Will return next time I'm in town.

Our super friendly and engaging server made this meal a great one. Food was awesome too! I took a chance...because I've always hated brussel sprouts...and they were fantastic, with bacon, onions and honey bourbon sauce.

I have eaten here a few times and they are killing it. Always such friendly staff, the food feels like fine dining quality but with a bar atmosphere. I always try something different when I come and it always hits the spot! Thank you guys for serving Decatur!
