TL;DR - Chef-owned, chef-run with an intriguing Argentinian / Italian fusion cuisine that's expertly executed in an open kitchen. Highly recommended!

Bar: We had a table for four on a recent Friday night but started by arriving a bit early for drinks at the bar. The bar has a solid selection of craft beers, cocktails and wine from Italy, Argentina, and Chile. Beers were large, cocktails were all well-made. All were reasonably priced.

Appetizers: We ordered the empanadas and the charcuterie board. Unfortunately, my photo of the empanadas only shows half of an empanada. There were 3 and they were great. We ate them quickly. Then we remembered the camera. The charcuterie board was unique in that it contained a very nice portion of expertly cooked steak, cut into pieces for easy sharing. I also was particularly fond of the house-picked vegetables and the sausages. My thought after sharing it was "if I come back, this is could easily be my meal."

Mains: I had the short rib. Get the short rib. It was truly one of the best I've ever had anywhere. The only other dish I tasted was the "grandma's ragu" that my wife had. If you like pasta, this is your dish as it was also wonderful. Our guests also greatly enjoyed their shrimp risotto and neopolitan milanese.

Desserts: Yes, we also ate dessert. The cheesecake was competently made but was not the New York style that I prefer (and it wasn't listed as such). However, the tres leches cake was a masterwork. When it was brought to the table I thought it was a mistake as it was 3 layers tall. I've never seen a layered tres leches. And I didn't think one was possible due to the liquid content. Well, apparently if you do it just right, it is indeed possible and it's magnificent. I regret they were out of the tiramisu as that plus the tres leches was our first pick.

If you've read to here you'll see we had a great time and will surely be back if for no other reason than to taste the tiramisu. In the meantime, go support Bella Maca as Corinth needs this restaurant.

We will be back! The teenagers had chicken parm, hubs had the special which was shrimp, pancetta and rigatoni and I had the risotto w seafood which had shrimp, muscles, octopus, and squid in a red sauce. Everyone was very, very happy. A bottle of wine and a serving of chocolate temptation cake and we are all very, very happy! And trust the chef and have the house salad dressing and the house salad (I ordered a side salad).

A wonderful dinner out for our family of 5! Our server was incredibly sweet and accommodating. Delicious Argentinian wine and steak pincho. One of my best meals in the Denton area. Definitely worth a bit of a wait if there is one! We can’t wait to come back.

As a local Realtor, I look for places to recommend to my clients for a nice night out with good food and a nice setting. Bella Maca offers an easy menu with a good variety. We had the empanada appetizer which was paired with a fresh chimicurri that really added nice flavor. I had the Braised Beef with polenta, which was good, and my wife had the Chimicurri Sandwhich, she said it was tasty.
I recommend Bella Maca and will be back to try others things on the menu.

Had the house salad with warm polenta croutons, delicious. Then the mussels accompanied by a glass of the recommended red wine, again wonderful

I absolutely love the Food & the flavors and the freshness! The atmosphere is great and the staff are nice and do a great job. The Chef is awesome and very friendly and will come around to see how your food is to your liking. I love the place. The 5 course gourmet wine pairing makes for a great date night. You get to learn about each wine and where it came from the history. I will be coming back soon and often. I wish I knew how to share the photos I took of the 5 courses.

I've only been here twice and both times they blew my mind and taste buds away all of their food is authentic and you can literally taste the freshness. I went here once more on my last day in Texas because I could not leave without tasting their food one last time. They do not disappoint and to correct the smallest mistake they wanted to give us a free glass of wine to which we politely declined and in return they comped the wine I had already gotten. Their service is impeccable their kindness is genuine and after and or during the owner or head chef will come out and make sure your meal was to your liking I will be coming back here once I'm in Texas again. Thank you all for being so lovely. Please I highly recommend them you wont be disappointed.

Wonderful new restaurant for Corinth. Fantastic chef and food. Explosion of flavors and quality showed in appetizer and main course. Argentinian charcuterie board was huge and so many great flavors. Poor man’s steak was such a great fusion of flavors. Refreshing new variety of culinary flavors in an off the beaten path location. Loved it and my new go to place. We all
Need to support local Chefs like Walter putting it all on the line to bring us the world of food here at home.

First time visit last night, and thoroughly enjoyed the meal and getting to know the chef. I would absolutely recommend the mussels, and my wife thought the salmon might have been the best she’s ever had. Some terrifc Italian and Argentinian wines that pair very well with the meals we had.
Some of the staff is still learning, but restaurants in general are having difficulty hiring, so patience is called for regardless of where you go to eat.
But it’s great to have a fantastic restaurant in Corinth! We plan to return soon to try lunch!

This place is a little pricey, but worth it. The house salad was even amazing! Seriously the house dressing from red bell peppers was really good. I got the shrimp and brussel risotto. Could have used a couple more shrimp, but overall the dish was fantastic. This is my new favorite Italian restaurant in the Denton area. I have not had food this good since I went to Italy. Can't wait to go back.

Delicious! The Steak Chimichuri sandwich is the deal of the century and the best, most flavorful, unique sandwich perhaps ever for me! Caesar salad and lasagna both exceeded expectations as well. What a great addition to our neighborhood. Can't wait to go back for dinner and drinks soon. Place looks great! Thank you Chef/owner Walter!

First impression walking in the door was amazing. We were just intending to get some food to take home to the house, no high expectations. We were quickly saying to each other "How have we not been here yet????" We ordered our food while sitting at the bar and had an incredibly awesome and engaging conversation with our bartender. She was extremely engaging and charismatic. We spoke of some of our travels and the places we have lived and after placing our orders to go we mentioned that we had lived in Naples. I think the word got back to the Chef because he came out and spoke to us about his travels and culinary influences. After a bit he said that he wanted us to try his Carbonara, which is highly recommended. He brought out the most authentic, wholly made dishes we have had outside of Italy.

My husband and I have been to this restaurant twice now and the food is AMAZING. It’s a bit off the beaten path in an odd location, which means it’s not often busy, but don’t let that scare you away. Chef Bandt has a way with flavors. We’ve had the Empanadas, the Poor Man’s Steak, the Shrimp and Grits (off the menu), the house salad, and the Braised Short Ribs. I would eat every single one of those items again and also can’t wait to try something new. It seems off that some of these fancy dishes are served with fries, but for basic palates like mine, they’re a great balance to extremely rich entrees. Seriously - so many flavors, so much color, and it’s all fantastic. Worth the drive!

The owner/Chef is truly world-class. Please talk to him so you know what I mean. All orders from our both visits were delicious especially the short ribs and poor mans steak. Also, Argentinian wines were amazing!

This is a very nice and cozy restaurant. I had the steak pincho and loved it. My partner had the steak chimichurri pizza and it was really good too. The pickled salad was amazing too! Will certainly go back to see if the surf and turf with the Madagascar shrimp is available - it was an impressive plate. They also have gluten free pasta which is a plus for anyone with Celiac. Staff and Chef are really friendly.
