the food.. in particular, the pizza is so DELICIOUS & SO HOT!!🔥

i ordered my pizza to be half buffalo chicken & half kosmic karma!! it was the best pizza straight from the oven.. that i have ever had!!

this place serves pizza, wings, salads, munchies, desserts, and yummy colorful refreshing drinks too!! great place for kids honestly!!👏🏼👏🏼

Very psychological atmosphere!! Great place to eat. Pizza is cooked on fire stone. Best pizza I have ever had! Sweet taste yummy!!

Our first time here and definitely not our last. Walking in, we were happily greeted, which automatically put a smile on our faces. We ordered a cheese pizza, a veg pizza, and cloud 9 wings. All of these were chef's kiss, delicious! The server was super nice and very attentive, not leaving us waiting for anything. We also happened to go on trivia night, which made it so much more fun! I would highly recommend this place.

Honestly, I read the review from earlier today so I prepared myself that I may not be able to get the cosmic karma that I always order. I came in ready to choose a different option. I know bad reviews can be harmful but, this one worked out today. I ordered the veg out to go and it was fantastic! I love the cosmic karma but the lack of pesto caused me to branch out and I am not disappointed. The service we received from Wren was great and the pizza was delicious. Thank you for another fantastic experience. We will always visit you guys when we come in to Denton.

The pizza and salad was fabulous. All reasonably priced with very good service. I would have given 4 Stars for atmosphere if it wasn't for the live band. The music was extremely loud and lacked appeal.

This was my first trip in. We went at 4 pm on a Sunday so it was a very relaxed experience. I think the atmosphere was very cute. I even commented to my wife that I thought it was cute. Cool and unique paintings and art work towards the mellow mushroom theme. The booths were super comfortable and relaxed.

Our service was good. Tori was a good server.

The food was very good, nothing bad to say about anything. My kids LOVED the meatballs. My wife loved the Thai wings. All cooked to perfection.

I was blown away by the amount of toppings on my house special pizza. All so fresh and good. If I have the slightest bit of criticism, I'd say my tomato was the weak point of my meal. It was cut from the very top so I had some brown stem on it. Nothing I was concerned about, I just ate around it.

The holy shiitake pizza was incredible. Oh my god I loved every bite of it. The onions were wonderful rich and sweet. The abundance of mushrooms was awesome. But then that sauce.... So so good.

I'm literally trying to come up with more criticism on this first experience, but I've got nothing.

Good Denton spot, definitely bring a light sweater though it is a little chilly. The cheese bread was my favorite item to try so far. Huge shout out to the server for the party of 6!! Lost my phone and the server helped us search for it.

Look, I gave the place five stars because the food is spectacular and we come back often. But the service is constantly a wreck. It’s a bunch of kids working here which isn’t in itself a problem, but you essentially have to flag someone down to get a check, or wait 10 minutes for your beer, or…I mean it never really ends. I know the owner reads comments on here so I really hope they can take these comments to heart, because the food is spectacular as is the atmosphere. The service is subpar every single time we go which lets me know that the problem is not isolated. I have brought this up to the manager when eating there and they have comped food or what not, which is nice and much appreciated. The service is still bottom tier.

Food - great; booze - excellent HH prices and pours (always get the Mauntucky Cold Snack) but the water in the women's bathroom has been running down the drain, unchecked, for at least 3 weeks now. The young person said to be the manager told me that food prices were high and that fixing this just wasn't a priority right now. I don't admire her priorities, as I believe that conserving drinking water is a priority for everyone. So, goodbye for now, Mellow Mushroom - I'm going over to Hootchies.

Absolutely incredible experience. The food was great. The service was impeccable and the atmosphere is super groovy. We had the merry prankster, and started with the mushroom soup and the spinach artichoke dip. I absolutely would love to come again.

Great pizza, strongly recommend the holy shiitake pizza. Honestly, this location didn't seem as heavily "themed" as some other mellow mushrooms I've been to, but I can't take any stars off because it was an absolutely solid time nevertheless - some of the best pizza I've had with genuinely creative but tasty combinations on the menu. They have a bar too so check out the cocktail menu. Server was super chill & polite.

P.S. there was, just, like, a cat outside. I don't know if thats a local cat that just happened to be around or if it's the owners or something, but the cat had a collar and seemed friendly enough.

Man oh man! Awesome pizza hidden in this town. The House Special and the Funky Q are the ones to get. The medium size with a order of pretzel bites with beer cheese are more than enough for four dudes. Worth the stop when heading back home.

First time at MM, I had a lunch special of 2 slices and an appetizer called Pretzel Bites. The app was delicious, dusted with Parmesan cheese, very unique. The pizza slices were great tasting, plenty for a full lunch.
Our server was excellent, she was attentive without hovering.

Absolutely delicious spot for unique pizza and the crust was absolutely money too. Service was just as awesome too.

We went to Drop-off our daughter at UNT and decided to eat lunch there. Service was excellent and food tasted really fresh. Pizza doug was very tasty. Highly recommend this place if you are in this area

Friendly staff, interesting 60s and 70s decor with same decades' music. Pizza excellent. We had veggie pizzas with pepperoni added to one amd a mushroom pizza. Nice variety of salads to go with the pizza. My only complaint is that the spinach was too dried out. Maybe drop it on later in the bake time? They were very willing to make pizzas to your personal preferences.

Honestly no complaints. The denton vibe on its own is almost a nice change of pace. Mello Mushroom stands out more because of this. Great pizza, drinks, and service. Music fits the vibe perfectly as well. We will be back to try more drinks soon

I’ve come to this location for about 3 years. The pizza has always been great, I always get a shiitake pie with my husband (add bacon, YES.) Tori is a wonderful manager and always checks in on us. They’re starting to offer fun nights and even vendor pop ups so you can shop during a wait or after you eat! It’s a fun time. We love it.

My two friends took myself and my roommate there a couple days ago. The pizzas were amazing and the server was so sweet and joined out chat about astrology. I hope I can be privileged enough to go there again sometime soon.
