Taqueria Guanajuato

Came in with our Taco Group and tried a good selection of tacos. The el pastor were my favorite. Each one is tried has great flavor and were just all around really good tacos. We also had to chips and salsa and I love salsa is served warm! Definitely worth the stop to try this place out!

I am always recommending this place to anyone I meet or know. It is seriously some of the best food I've EVER had and continue to have. The sopes, birria, ALL the tacos, tortas, sides, plates, etc. It is all fantastic. I sometimes eat here more than once in a week. Seriously, try it. Es delicioso.

Food is really good I had a shrimp cocktail and it was delicious the shrimp were fresh I got a small size too small for me so definitely getting the large one next time, my bf got 4 gorditas de chicharrón they were bigger size than what we get in other places, the michelada is delicious! Service is great, it’s sharing the place with a gas station so if you wanna get a different drink u can just go get it, small but enough tables. If you want real authentic Mexican food this is the place.

I have popped in for a taco plate with rice and beans at a great price. The tortas very huge and filling. I have been here before but always failed to write a review. The tacos are good, I really enjoy the salsas. The salsa Verde is very savory. The place is a small mom and pop that's part of a little market.

LOVEE THIS TACO SHOP! They are my go-to for DoorDash and now that I’ve come in person they’ve gained more points. Lovely service and even more delicious food. Their variety is crazy. I’ve gotten breakfast burritos, Birria Tacos, tacos, Gorditas, and even their nachos. They never miss. 10/10 for a hole in the wall good taqueria. LOOK AT THESE GLORIOUS NACHOS.

Best tacos I’ve ever had. We got the birria tacos and were in and out within 5 minutes after ordering on a Saturday night. This will definitely be a go-to spot for our family.

Delicious! Up the street for court and stopped in here for lunch. I ordered 3 street tacos (steak and chicken) rice and beans, and a horchata. All tasty. The gentleman assisting me was courteous, my food was received quickly and HOT. Live near Denton and always looking for more authentic Mexican food. I will return!

Always amazing tacos and salsa is homemade. Service is quick and they do take out orders over the phone. I love getting their al pastor tacos with a Mexican coke and my boyfriend gets their tortas. Seating is tight during peak hours since it shares space with a convenience store. Always great food, highly recommend for good tacos/Mexican food in Denton.

Best tacos in town at a great price! I got the chicken/beef tacos while my boyfriend got Birria Tacos - and we both enjoyed our meals! The chicken tacos in particular were really great and filling. If you enjoy Mexican food, this is your place to go.

Delicious food the place is clean and Customer service was outstanding when we picked up our to go order. There is also a small dine in area.

I travel to CDMX at least once a month so when I walked into Guanajuato it was like walking into taqueria in CDMX ... same smells, same feels. (don't see refried beans very much in CDMX) So yes, the food is good.

Authentic home cooked Mexican food! It's near the Discovery Park UNT campus, which is convenient for engineering students. Also, it is completely affordable! Most dishes are around $7-8. It has a hometown atmosphere and mouthwatering burritos and tortillas! Just in case you're wondering, yes they have horchatas, and AMAZING ones at that.

Ate at this restaurant today and had the chicken torta it was a good combo of chicken , mayo and avocado. I am visiting from out of town and will return again. 👍
We had to eat outside because there was no sitting but we did not mind we just ate in the car.
