Fresh Market Shoppes

We vacationed here for 20+ years and have lived here the last 3 years. The Fresh Market was always where we went 1st upon arrival. Now, we go all the time. The desserts are some of the best we've ever had, but we have some definite favorite staples like, Sumo Oranges (when in season), the Mint Chocolate Malt Balls (amazing), and the freshly ground peanut butter. Everyone has always been friendly and helpful.

Love buying fresh, clean food. However this store is sorely over priced. Probably from being on Holton Head Island

Great grocery store with lots of specialty items that you don’t see elsewhere. The store is laid out well and is ultra clean! All of the staff are very friendly and very helpful!
They have a bakery, prepared foods area, butcher, seafood section and more. They have a good craft beer selection with an even better wine selection!
On this last trip I was looking to make some Gin & Tonics. They had everything I needed (except the Gin, of course!). They had big, juicy limes, Fever Tree Tonic Water and lots of Club Soda choices including many I’ve never seen anywhere else!
There’s a reason that Fresh Market was rated as the best grocery store chain in the country by a major national publication! Cheers!

We love the fresh produce, they have some unusual items here. The butcher is top-notch, steaks, chops and sausages. Many gluten-free options throughout the store. Their chicken salad is terrific, as are many prepared diners.

We visit Hilton Head annually and this is the first time we've visited Fresh Market Shoppes. What a wonderful market! The best "free from" brands of so many food types. Fresh baked items, produce, etc etc. Even the chocolate bars are from sustainable companies. We will most certainly be back. It's like whole foods meets your local Kroger. Our cashier wasn't quite the friendliest fellow, but I glimpsed 2 minutes of him so probably a fluke. Looking forward to picking up our snacks and meal preps on our way into vacation mode next year!

Fresh Market is an upscale grocery store that features good, fresh produce and a nice selection of meat and seafood. The store is attractive and laid out well. It is stocked with all you probably need, but sometimes does not have the popular brand you're looking for. It seems to me that their strategy is to stock the best products instead of trying to stock all of the name brands. Although it's not a huge market, I've never had to wait in a long line to check out and the staff is always friendly. It's one of my favorite places to browse for food.

Much better than their operations in some markets. Beautifully fixture store with a friendly staff. Fair prices for what you get on quality.

we like to get their meals for 2. it has everything you need to make a complete meal in 20 minutes.

Just needed a few items & It's so much easier going here for a quick trip. Everything I have purchased over many trips has always been good quality. They have packaged fresh dinners to prepare at home that looked delicious, so I bought one to try. They also carry quarts of milk in plastic screw top bottles which I like to buy when I have friends staying.

Appreciate the cashiers giving us wine guidance, working with us on membership/loyalty, and generally having a nice selection of foods.

A cut above other fresh markets I have shopped. Fresh wholesome seafood and produce selections. Prepared and ready to eat, or purchase and cook. Very clean store, staff maintains COVID 19 precaution. Staff is extremely hospitable, and ready to assist. Meat counter is well stocked with impeccable service. My place to grocery shop when I visit the island.

My father loves beets, and I want to make a salad with them. I also bought some nice looking dried green spices for cooking.

Always a good selection and more importantly fresh. Take your time and look around. We see something different every time we go there.

One of my favorite stores on the planet! Makes my visit to Hilton Head even more enjoyable every time! Easter Brunch package was delicious and so convenient!

the selection is fan freaking tastic.tbe seevice and customer service is untouchable and the Covid-19 game fave is strong. Never shop here when hungry, only after a meal.. your wallet will thank you.
